  1. You can download the video here if your country blocks the above posted ^ youtube vid for some reason.
  2. Yes. Geared drive right off the servo motor. Also uses two XL motors for drive as well as two L motors for the "hydraulics"
  3. Video is on its way. Meanwhile...
  4. Spectacular! the electrical system and resulting engineering is quite a feat. I really like the leveling design too using the ball sockets. Well done!
  5. What rims are those in the yellow sample? I don't see them on http://wheels.sariel.pl/
  6. what a super sweet moc! Gunna build this with my son. thanks!
  7. The top down view really shows your design prowess. Beautiful!
  8. Top quality! Very nice attention to detail.
  9. Hello good people of Lego Technic. Took a little break from the impala. When I came back I decided to fix the two main issues that had slowed me down: 1. The big tires wouldn't clear the fenders and 2. the roof was fugly. So now, she's a convertible! :-) I got rid of a lot of weight and now I can see my interior! I like how the interior turned out and just need to put a dash in and I'm done. Plus you get to see more of the door mechanisms. It's summer, The top's down and we're going to go cruz the Santa Cruz boardwalk. I swapped out the wheels to the smaller wheels as well. I still think they fit the scale and are probably more appropriate to the original car. no more DUBZ I also swapped out the front motor to help out on my massive new front bumper and hood weight. so now two L motors for the lower/raising of the car. It works like a dream with the new smaller tires. No clearance issues. I also swapped out a lower gear ratio to help push the added weight of the deck lid, the bonnet and the front end. I had to take some creative liberties with the hood, it's not very impala but it clears the higher lower/raising mechanism in the front. I've got some cosmetic and structural stuff on the front end, then it's the rear bumper and I think I'll wrap this one up. TC7...calls! What do you guys think?
  10. Totally awesome. I love baja trucks. The stickers add nice detail.
  11. 6 months ago! :-D http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=103216#entry2073208 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqyijkJwvC4 (use a proxy to bypass youtubes music gestapo) PS Doc can't wait to see it! Love that truck in the movie. Actually Love them all and I want to build the war rig.
  12. Got some progress on a rough decklid and an even rougher hood. I sort of liked the black section on the roof, i might go back to that. The hood should be more flat, but when its all the way down, I'm off one studd from the fender in the center where the lowering mechinism sits. So I that's why I rise up in the center on that hood. Doesn't really match the lines of the real car. I'm still working on it though.
  13. Wow this is epic! What an awesome project! Really great attention to detail and functionality on the trucks.
  14. The MK II is awesome. It's an amazing build. Lot's of wheels, great gears and tons of beams. The drawback to me is the yellow parts. 9398 the rock crawler is also fantastic. That servo motor along with the two L motors and v2 receiver is worth it alone, it also comes with a nice variety of colors, white, red, and black. Current sets, You might check out the 24 hour car or the loader if you want to build more construction style mocs.
  15. Awesome progress! Battery box is a bit awkward, but I like everything else.
  16. nice collection KandyKop - wow! The lambo looks great in three colors.
  17. Thanks! yep excited for your truck. It feels like a very similar project to mine. -No broken gears yet, Fingers crossed. Credit the backlash in the sheer numbers of gears between the motors and the diff that provides a little cushion. Buddy sent these to me for my birthday last year. Signed originals. Star wars meets pin up. :-) As for the independent setup, It worked, but It was too complex and too heavy. Three wheeling was not an option because of the weight of the moc. It ended up feeling like a bad mars rover contraption or something. Also it didn't work out for the sbrick setup.
  18. A little progress to show you from the last update. I took a bit of a hiatus since my last update. I built the roof-line where I wanted it but didn't finish the back window portion and I got busy. Finally today I got the building bug and tied in the back of the roof-line. It still needs some polish but its works for now. Then I was trying to reinforce the lifting mechanism on the rear end. That led to a partial rebuild of the back portion of the model. It was a bit sketchy so I made it much stronger. I messed around a bit reinforcing the front end. Not sure if this will stay, but it's solid at the moment. I also built a custom profile since there wasn't really a proper control setup for the functions I have. What do you think?
