  1. I don't think there's need to repeat that fourth time ;) I was thinking of the big panels. We used to think those were exclusive to 41999.
  2. I'm nowhere near the famous MOCers but I too make instructions for my creations and make them public free afterwards. Using mlcad and lpub it takes several times more to create BI than build the creation in real life. In fact more than 20-30 times more :/ And that for a non-technic build.
  3. It worked! Thank you :) I downloaded the file from linked discussion and used the entry for that baseplate. I will probably replace the whole file later on.
  4. Thank you both. I'll dig into this and see what happens.
  5. It is my favourite technic model. If you have the opportunity to get one for not-insane price, just get it. I built it several time and will do it again and again. For me it's one of the best building experience in Technic :)
  6. Thanks. I did that before but with no effect, so I though I need to do something else. But I did that now again. And again, and again (...) and again and finally it worked. I had some insane values so my baseplate looks now like a green blop on my entire page. I reverted to original values, cleared both caches and again after about 20 or so attempts it finally reverted to the original state with my baseplate upside down... It's a bit disappointing, the way this software works :/ This is pointless for me to see which of those values will bring my baseplate to have its studs up, and which will make it smaller (not with so many attempt for Lpub to even read this file), so I have another question - do you know how to change those number so that I can achieve what I want?
  7. I'm relatively new with MLCAD and Lpub so I have lots of problems... One of those is that my Lpub seems to ignore the PLI file located in extras folder (I use Windows 7, 64bit). I have a problem with 32x32 baseplate showing upside down in part list. I want it to show studs up and smaller. If I do any random change in the pli.mpd file to the original entry of the baseplate, which by default looks like this: 1 0 -878.808 0 -839.192 -0.5 0 0 0 -0.5 0 0 0 0.5 3811.dat I see no changes at all. I have no clue what those numbers mean, so I thought I will make random changes, one number at a time, and simply see what changes. But nothing changes. So I tried to turn this file off altogether in the preferences. No effect. I tried to change to a different file - I can't select any, even the original one in extras folder. I have no more ideas...
  8. Beautiful! Now, that's a proper UCS pirate set ;)
  9. I'm not sure about that, so correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard about some faulty cylinders that came with 8455. Something about them being more prone to leakage. Has anyone of you heard something similar?
  10. Sadly there is nothing available new from Lego with big cylinders or manual pump. So your best bet is something used. 8455 as the obvioius one with 10 of them and 2 pumps, but 8049 should be good value wise. It comes with two different pumps and two cylinders.
  11. I couldn't agree more :) This is outstanding and what's more with instructions available it makes it so much better :) Thank you! Is there a place where I can browse all users with a given tag? Say, I want to see who else apart from Madoca has this badge.
  12. Why should there be any association with any of those sets? Isn't it even better if there is none?
  13. Now I'm more interested to see if there is any pneumatic model for the H2... As for the 42038, my bet is there is no steering at all :(
  14. Very good, but the seat is too long for my taste. How about making it 3 studs wide?
  15. Very nice water :) I really like the trans-clear forming the wave.
  16. It wouldn't be able to hold anything really, unless it was really high and that is rather unlikely. This would be nice idea for a MOC - then you'll be able to build below ground level too. In the official set the baseplate is limiting how deep we can go ;)
  17. Thank you, but... this is regular blue. Maybe it's not properly photographed to show true colours.
  18. Only the Pet Shop set had one in the brown building. It simply means those residents have a busy life with all those visitors ;)
  19. Great work there :) Would you mind telling how did you learn to use those black hoses in MLCad? I have big difficulties in making this twist... Do you have some good tutorial to read that you could recommend? Unless this is not MLCad at all...
  20. Come on! It deserves silver at most, it's still the same year ;)
  21. Indeed, this is a Red Dragon head, that guy: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?M=cas528 I know this one is very easy to reproduce looking at just one picture, so I have a question - does it make sense to make instructions for it? I'm learning to make it now on a different MOC's that are waiting for publication because of that (I want to post the Rebrickable address together with presentation).
  22. Because of you guys yesterday I placed an order for TH even though I didn't plan it before...
  23. Yeah, sometimes we take the fact those builders will keep on building for granted but there is other life out there too, and sometimes it takes over... Let's hope he's on to some great build :)
  24. It's hard to be a pirate these days. Not only are you left alone for good on an island, but worse still, your supply gets dry in a heartbeat... It's my first attempt to do something with water other than leave the baseplate as it is ;) The pirate "borrowed" his head from the 2013 castle line. I hope you'll enjoy this :)
