  1. Cotton ball with denatured alcohol or 95-99% rubbing alcohol. Work quickly, whipe the alcohol and adhesive away. BTW this will also remove permanent marker too.
  2. Just found this. Looks great! I will be building this. Love the cover pages on your BI.
  3. isopropyl alcohol can change the surface. So, don't soak them very long and use only 70% strength.
  4. Well, if you're the parent, then only buy them what you approve of from TLG. It's simple!
  5. Humanity is going digital. What's wrong with TLG doing so?
  6. For me it all started with 703 from 1961. To that set I added many early sets from the late 50's and early 60-s; sets like: 214, 215, 217, 218 X2, 229, 261, 280 X2, 281, 282, 400, 700. This was when Small Town USA hobby shops could stock small amounts of Lego and had them on their shelves for many years. My relationship with this hobby started in 1963 (before minifigures).
  7. You might have gotten sick of seeing it on your table, but that is incredibly impressive. The block work on the bridge is simply awesome!! Wonderful Work!!!
  8. With 2000 parts you are probably going to have to use several sellers to get everything you need. Some times it's good to get what you can from Lego replacement parts and pay shipping one time or at least fewer times. You can get VIP points from it too.
  9. I think the little stud inside the bottom of the 1x2 plate is a little bit too large for that connection to work.
  10. Check out the webpage circuitcubes.com. There are many products available.
  11. Circuit cubes are all bluetooth so an IR receiver is not needed and the battery cube is rechargeable.
  12. Yes, that is why I'm making instructions. But, I think I will only do the special elements and not the whole thing.
  13. Thanks for all this good information, UltraViolet. Much appreciated. Has anyone used those Znter batteries with a buggy motor vehicle or a vehicle using large tracks or any heavy vehicle?
  14. Looking forward to that. Is this what you were talking about?
  15. Thanks for the great explanation. Much appreciated!! So, would you please explain the modified PF cable too. (some of us aren't such good electricians)
  16. Uh, You sure learned a lot while you were away from Lego all those years! This is brilliant!!!!! Please don't stop. Your children really don't appreciate how great Daddy is! Put this on Lego ideas too, really!
  17. Nice idea, I thought of it too, but it didn't work for me. So, if it works for you please show us how you did it.
  18. I don't know about the movie, but that old loco & tender are absolutely huge and wonderful to ride!!
  19. This is EXCELLENCE!!!! IMPRESSIVE!!! WELL DONE!! We have been aboard the USS Wisconsin and the USS Yorktown.
  20. Thanks very much for the information!! I'm wanting to get what it looks like you wanted: more power in a lighter weight package (especially for the buggy motor). One question; does the white wire end of the battery connect to a charger? I'm trying to understand this kind of battery better (two wires). I'm also assuming this a LiPo battery.
  21. Yea, plexiglass is has a prohibitive cost. We were gonna make a plexiglass enclosure for a 3D printer. We're thwarted too. I hope someone out there has a viable solution. I wonder if glass is cheaper for a deep bookshelf.
  22. Thanks much!! Which kind of Lego wire connects to that Geekservo?
  23. What is the motor you are using for steering?
