  1. Haha, make good use of your skills! As a teaser, the blurrier the better Sounds more than great! But since it's gonna be something bigger, feel free to WIP it big and post it in its own WIP thread. Leave this for all the small stuff that we would otherwise not see This is a great little scene! Love how you made the castle resemble the iconic baseplates Sounds quite teasing! Anything more you can give us now? Good luck with finishing!
  2. Neat! It's bow number one for me.
  3. Captain, my Captain? In case necessary, just kick the bird out, but not this splendid entry!
  4. Yes, the master of lines and shapes finally strikes again! And it hits like a bomb!! Love the concept, it's only the second bomb ketch I remember sailing these waters. Love the shape, especially the side galleries are a delight. Have to steal borrow that mortar design. You own the most complete fleet... about to start a war, eh? Awesome stuff! Just... when firing... beware the departure of sails LDD on!
  5. Haha, lovely... Sufficient amount of blood? Check! Screaming minifigs? Check! Hanging pirate? Check! Burning chef? Check! ... wait, what? Burning chef?? Love the burning chef! And the classic white and yellow. Great scene and worthy PtV entry! And as a toping, the rat is all unimpressed like "Meh, gettin' real tired of your sh*t, guys." Brick on, BrickOn!
  6. You have my curiosity! After all, what could be more educational than a children's toy. How long till you finish?
  7. Yes, it caught on! Great entry and a CCBC, a 'Classic Captain Braunsfeld Creation(TM)'. Love the pathway leading through the store and the 'ball park', not to mention the PTV-ish rampage. About the bird, didn't even notice first... shall the Master decide. Captain Dee, you, Sir, are a madman Maybe as kind of 'punishment' he should have to build a huge blue attack-parrot
  8. General MOC-Discussion Ahoy! Ever felt like there's not enough general talk going on here about what matters most in these waters - MOCs? Ever got frustrated over a certain issue with a WIP that you could need help with? Ever thought about posting a WIP but didn't think it would deserve its own thread? Ever wanted to announce a huge, mind boggling, or simply your next project and ask your fellow EB members what they think about that idea? Or have you ever just felt the urge to tease everyone with a blurred picture of your creation or some facts about it before releasing it for good? Well, hesitate no further, this is the place for you! Use this thread as a vessel for all the otherwise unmentioned MOC related talk, use it to discuss sail sizes and capstan designs, ask for ideas, help others with their MOC issues and tease your fellow mateys... with pics of your creations, of course
  9. Cruel, indeed. May I suggest to render the LDD-scenes using Bluerender for example, that would make a much nicer presentation. Brick on!
  10. Great MOC and a fun to read story, a fierce looking monster volcano... and I think one of the monkeys must have the remote control for the light function Brick on!
  11. This is golden! To me the best Lego set ever made, and you honored it by making this fantastic review. Instantly added as a favorite, I love your style Best regards
  12. This is a great offer, Matthias, my BSB sails could use some cleaning, yet I think they are not worthy of your care in terms of dirtiness. However, if you don't find anything else, I'll volunteer as tribute Best regards
  13. 'Furniture shopping at Ay!KEA' Neat! I'm spotting the notorious 'BillyBones' shelf, the comfortable resting chair 'Päng!', and not to forget the popular cabinet 'Bellum'. Jokes aside, this is a very cool furniture collection, I'm especially fond of the black chair design shown in the third picture. The ball-park for the monkeys is missing, though
  14. Good to hear. I would almost always say 'build your own!', simply 'cause it's more adaptive to the size you need, plus by now there are great methods developed to build such a custom bow. But if you want to use the old bow element (and don't happen to own or don't want to use the new typ), you can always close these holes. Examples found at the Ship MOCs Index: 1, 2, 3, 4
  15. Wow, after almost six years! I hope you considered these here before you bumped this studded beauty... Maybe a rule should be added that 'Bumpers of old' have to moc up a reinterpretation of the original
  16. No, don't build fast! Take your time - for the greater good!
  17. Side galleries are the new trans light blue!

Assumption is correct, although it's digital... but it's nearing something presentable, at least as a WIP.

Interesting design, thanks a lot. But I'm afraid it doesn't quite fit the construction plans... back to the drawing board.

Hmm... suddenly I feel the strong urge to bump an old topic and demand the creator to finish his WIP asap ;)

Please don't. I'm working on other things right now. Once they're done, I was going to start a new topic.

Great! Looking forward with big expectations *grabspopcorn*

  18. Amazing how much detail you manage to fit into these. Every brick is like a 'yes, that was there' moment to me.
  19. ... That everything. Sorry, no constructive criticism here, since every emphatic praise of one great feature would mean to disregard those I didn't mention... Brick on!
  20. Congratulations then, well deserved! Now you better come up with something containing even more awesomeness for 'PtV'!
  21. Wow! This is a fun creation. Well, not funny for those poor souls on board, but fun to watch the squid 'embrace' its newly found friends. Well, somehow I'm expecting Captain Braunsfeld now to come up with a huge monkey creation and have the two critters fight it out. Keep it up!
  22. It's a lovely little mess, this ship, a bit like a tiny version of the Flying Dutchman. Wreak some havoc with it! Keep it up!
  23. This island must be a dream for every real estate loving pirate. It's got it all! Love the skull and the classic feeling. Just one thing, they better trash that clock fast, as it is a symbol of order and civilization. Keep it up!
  24. Wow, for bumping 'Pickle' and this masterpiece you definitely have to show us your creations at least soon!
  25. Thanks, you two. I recommend watching that very trashy movie! Indeed! But their pain was worth my pain
