  1. If you have two driven wheels in the front (with seperate motors I guess and steering by having different speeds) wouldn't it be better for steering if there is a single rotating wheel in the back? Because when your robot steers now, it's movement is hindered be the non-steered back wheels. And the wheels are skidding over the ground?
  2. Nice. Take your time :)
  3. Oh, a HIND helicopter. Or should I say: Flying Cow. This is pretty neat. Do you have an lxf? I am getting 9396 for my birthday and this would extend the building fun once more :D
  4. Like I said before, this set is not bad at all and has interesting building techniques. I initially bought it as a parts pack, but then I was really impressed by the models. Don't miss out to build this: http://rebrickable.com/mocs/grohl/9394-helicopter
  5. Still on my build-list, but supported!
  6. Not long past, people complained about all the red sets that occured :D And the 9394 is not that bad a model. Be sure to build at least the A-model and/or the C-model. I found both builds rather enjoyable.
  7. Very impressive. Well done. I really envy your skills (and Lego budget) :D
  8. Contact TLG! Simple as that!
  9. Very well done. I could imagne this to also be cool as a firefighter truck with ladder!
  10. Wow, that was really unexpected. Great idea!
  11. Brilliant. Thank you a lot for the sticker template.
  12. I think he meant, that the instructions are not yet available on the website.
  13. That makes you man of the day
  14. Cool. No pressure. Just take your time. The sticker sheet you posted is already a high-valuable ressource. I am just asking, because this might be interesting for future projects.
  15. 3rd party tires have already been discussed intensively here: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=70865
  16. @piterx I really like the sticker sheet. It looks awesome. Do you have by any chance a blank template for those panels? If yes, would you mind to share it?
  17. Prices for the Flatbed Truck are ridiculous here in Germany. I used the building instructions of it to build a flatbed trailer for my 8258 B-pickup mod. I build it just with the flatbed lift and used the other function to make some kind of outriggers. I must say, that the flatbed itself is a very interesting mechanism and totally worth the build.
  18. If I had built something really really cool and someone comes and offers the right price for it, I would probably sell it. Or rebuild it at BL prices.
  19. A concrete pump usually has a multilink arm. Comparable to 8258, but much bigger and more complex, on the other hand it is nothing like 42009 or the likes. This would indeed be a nice model. But we already had a airport fire engine and it was nothing like a flagship model. If motorized, then ok. The firefighter-mog MOC was already brilliant in that direction.
  20. There are so many kinds of trucks that could be made as such a premium model. I would really like to see something like a concrete mixer: Either 3 or 4 axles and so on. Or a concrete pump: Or (and I really wish for something like this) a proper fire engine: At best with working blue signal lights, horn, and a working water tank
  21. Hasn't someone mentioned earlier in this thread (or somewhere else) that 42003 has been renumbered to 42010 or 42011?
  22. Since I am pretty tight on schedule until after my birthday, I will wait until then. And perhaps it is then available for cheaper on Amazon or eBay.
  23. Hi, I think it is finally time to show my current "collection". Unfortunately, I can just show you what I have currently assembled. Since I am planning to move and make me a proper building and storage area, you will need to wait until that is done. So here is what I currently have assembled: On the left: Crowkillers Porsche 997 GT3 On the right: My modified version of 8258B (without trailer) More pics of the models are in my Brickshelf folder.
  24. The door lock is indeed simple, but very effective. I guess this method will be used in several MOCs soon.
