  1. Thanks FZ its known as the 'BlockBird'.
  2. A little take on a stealth plane because there are not enough fun ones out there. Hope it serves at least a some inspiration to those who'd like to build there own.
  3. Ha Ha yes exactly however my instructions dont include that as it is just a Rancor not Jabbas Rancor. An easy mod for those who want it that way. Thanks for playing...
  4. Nice review I kind of wish I had this now as a result.
  5. Oh it's a lot bigger than I thought from the original render. I love the 'chunkiness' of the design looks like you could ram it through Death Star. The characters like they are off to take over Halloween lol...
  6. Please allow me to put a clearer picture on this and put an end to these toxic economics lessons. My point is not to complain how or why the prices are such here and there. What i neglected to clarify in a casual comment I made was this... If you went to a store and said item was gonna cost you 180 bucks of your pay you'd think about it hard for sure, but if it was going to cost you 300 dollars from your pay in any ones currency you would be thinking about it a lot harder and for me that's a no. Back on the original topic it makes sense that most are for collectors as ANH at this stage are 'ahem' a little older and possible have sentimental money to burn. The prequel generation are happy to have a chance to continue the fantasy scale army purchase while the tots are getting a kiddy jedi version to introduce them to the Star Wars concept which hopefully drags them into the larger universe and films later on. I'd say this is just a stage in a bigger picture, I mean I think the Mandalorian sets fed everyone's interest and budget and I'm sure they are planning many a drop on future series however big or small they may be.
  7. Arrrr, I also saw your stuff on discord in lego things they're great.
  8. Thanks for the un needed 'Slap' whatever your reason or the back-packers guide advice my YeahNUH is about the resulting final price so stands.
  9. Just by way of comparison for pricing, as lego uses the 'what the market will bare' approach to the cost of sets a Dark Falcon set that's 180 USd would equate to around 270 Aud where as the set will actually cost me about 300 bucks from lego so I'm like yeeaaahhhhh....NUH!
  10. In my opinion the Star Wars line is definitely aimed at the adult market. I check them out every time I'm in a store but due to pricing and lack of scope I quite simply don't buy them and haven't for years even though it's my favorite theme generally speaking. I'd like there to be more thought put into it and see sets that span across the range of prices like city sets and friends do. Part of the problem is limited characters where we get 14 lukes or r2's and in the way that you cant offer a 10 dollar set of a cantina member when you can ransom him in a 300 dollar set i guess, but id love to see more consideration to things around that instead of making everything 'collectable'.

  12. Welcome aboard, some very snazzy renditions on this.
  13. A great little build and so much more fun at this scale. I'm a big fan of creating Lego builds that more fit the minifigure scale mold rather that 'replicas' of things. Although I feel they work as models in there own right , the minifig world should have it's own look and feel....followed.
  14. Thank you, I cant wait to build a copy...
  15. Here's an updated build from some ten years ago. Still in render format until the bricks arrive but it seems like a solid build when I get to it. https://rebrickable.com/users/RustyRunt/mocs/
  16. Everything done in true Baronsat style, very nicely done. Absolutely loving the container.
  17. Saw you on Ozlug, hello from Canberra...
  18. Excellent build, Followed.
  19. Heh...love Galactica. Nice to see this although it's got duplicate images at the start. So good you made it twice?

    Subaru Brat

Here's my final version of a Subaru utility commonly known as the 'Brat' Around 12 hours work on this one and I'm very pleased with the result. As an aside I was interested in feedback from people as to how they feel about others posting links to pay for instructions. I realise first and foremost this is a community website venture but as most of what I design and build these days ends up on Rebrick I do it without thinking really. Is it annoying? I remember in the older days we used to just share pics for inspiration and discussion so I don't want to get people off side by doing so. Anyway here's the goods...
