    All of us showing our age lol, what a great little build. Logans Run really stirs up a unique feeling much like Battlestar Galactica or Buck Rogers. These are fantastic!

    Very nice group, my fave is the ATST and it appears to be in a scale much more suited to minifigs.

    I thought using parts like the runners for the sliding doors may work well.

    I certainly feel this, I too had a colonial era station mock up that i dismantled for bricks in a build that went nowhere...and it was a lovely station indeed. Yours is a very clean build and I love the details. Only thing i could suggest is using this older roof style, maybe add a rain gutter along the bottom edges and a downpipe to even out the l.o.d. for the whole build. Nice work.

    @Sebeus I Thanks that's about the colour an old green tractor turns after around 60 plus years over here. I see them everywhere and so wanted to depict one in my scene.

    'grats on front page news! A very well constructed tie indeed. Love to see some panel details in the cockpit but i get it, it's squeezy in there.

    Thumbs up! These are the things that instinctively add realism to a diorama or layout although we rarely pay much attention to them. Go and build a massive airport.

    @FGMatt apologies Matt but the container is a third party item that i just used to get the feel of what I was after out of my head and yes detail is finer it has opening doors as well as one of the top panels. @higgins91 points for trying, thanks for dropping by. @P6tu Cheers mate and to think I didn't even design this one I just fumbled through parts like the old days, sure was a fun build. @The Undo Thanks! hopefully if the quality continues I shall have a great looking layout...

    Quite honestly I don't think software matters as the human input is whats important here and you only need a few basic tools which the all seem to have. One thing you could try is to make a second ship layer and try a very small amount of blur and motion blur to get rid of the hard edges and suggest motion. This could be on top and transparent to the main ship layer or underneath depending on how it turns out. Good luck!
