  1. A very sweet ride, love the windscreen use as well as that door mechanism and access ramp.
  2. Greetings and welcome aboard.
  3. Thank you, I hope to share a lot more soon and to see any of you're workings when you get to it.
  4. This one belongs down a back alley, just next to a cathouse. A great idea and something gritty. Needs some more detais inside and a drunk in the corner would look good.
  5. Fantastic! If you build this you are going to need a bigger display case. This thing is huuuuge..
  6. Welcome aboard LMG I think you will have a great time on here, also into trains and layouts as well as pretty much any theme. See yo in chat... Welcome aboard LMG I think you will have a great time on here, also into trains and layouts as well as pretty much any theme. See yo in chat...
  7. It comes out as a wonderful desk piece, nice work on this.
  8. very nice little utility...
  9. Thanks Asper, love your train mocs especially the park railway concept. Great idea.
  10. Much better in my opinion...add some sith to it and it's done...
  11. Same...for the moment
  12. You can always start planning it digitally using the following programs. Bluebrick, https://bluebrick.lswproject.com/ Train Depot Track Designer, https://www.diesel-dave.com/lego/train_depot/td.htm Just remember to gauge how much space you have available to set one up. Track layouts get large quickly...
  13. Nice job so far, may I suggest using snot to get the vents running sideways, a grey studless bar at the front, an eighties train window for the door and even a small classic window for the front facing view windows down the cabin sides that you have ommitted.
  14. Hi there domik, welcome aboard. I am also a fan of RC cars (although I dont use them) and trains along with Star Wars are my main focus when building. I am working up to a medium scale landscape for my trains based on rural Australia in the eighties. your Ukko Pekka is a great build and I lovethe level of details. Hope you have a great time in the community here.
  15. Just re-posting this here from the Train tech forums for those who may want to apply it to city builds
  16. They are definitely light-tight at this thickness for sure but yes paper folding is a lot easier for this use. The camera sounds interesting, do you have links to what you have made? Also good for O-Bahn style busses like we have here...
  17. Been meaning to try this for some time and it works great. Origami papercraft gangway curtains using an accordion method of folds producing a very convincing result. I tried mine in thick paper thinking I'd get a better result....yeah nahhh don't bother just use black paper. Using the size in the tutorial produces a roughly minifig scale curtain and it can be cut to size before final folding or afterwads. It would look a lot less gnarley in paper imo...
  18. Cheers Mwah! heres a cutaway shot of the twin Mitsubishi 250hp Electric motors
  19. Marvelous, i just love all of the details, I still havent seen them all.
  20. Sorry I'm a bit late to the party but I love this and the frog on a bonnet is genius.
  21. I love that it's only functional with nothing in terms of decoration or embellished elements. Every part of it is a simple module of singular purpose and that it looks this way as a result of that.
  22. lovely job capturing this. love the roller skate door handle...
  23. Hahaha very funny, and yes form follows function, just like my 'mule' train in the other forum.
  24. Cheers 12V I'm really into things of a utility nature in general and not so much passenger trains and such even though they are really the same thing (do love a good steam engine though). Regarding unique well that's a hard basket these days with everything so saturated with content so I am pleased you feel that way about this. Can't wait to put it into bricks...
