    Kiray curtsies as best she can in her armor when Arnulf releases her hand. "Thank you, sir rogue. A pleasure to meet you, and you do not need to worry, Mr. Bishop; you have all proven your worth. I've heard stories of you all, and I must say it is me who hopes I can prove something.

    Kiray revels in the kindness of these strangers, nicer than most people she has ever met. Kiray accepts the Ancient Crown. "Tell me, Arthur, what does this crown do? I'm sorry for this seemingly naive question; I just have rarely seen such an ancient and magnificent piece before." "Is that so?" Kiray chuckles along with the other female. "I accept your spare bedroll. Don't worry, I will return it to you once we are finished, in the condition you gave it to me."

    Kiray smiles at Grimwald, who she had sparred with before. She studies the others, her eyes taking in everybody's armor, weapons, clothes, everything. The Yeti looked terrifying to her, and she reminded herself to not get on the wrongside of the creature. She looks at Boomingham, listening to his words. She says, "I will not betray you, sir. I'm eager to prove myself here, and I hope we can become friends and you can trust me." Kiray then turns her gaze to the captain. "Captain Patricia, if I may ask, do you know what Steerpike looks like? How many are we expecting? Who sent out the invitations, and how are we able to cross-check them and make sure these invitations are legitimate?"

    .... When you skip out on your senior formal to buy a bulk pack of ship parts for a ship that's more important and will create better memories... and you can still call ships "she"...

    Just bought a $60 lot of pirate hulls and ship parts. I can make at least 3 complete ships now with those hulls alone.

    Kiray looks at the board and smiles. She was chosen, she processes in her mind. She looks over the names of them joining her. One she had lost to in the Arena, Grimwald. Others she had heard of and listened to snippets of their conversation. It looked like a good group for a first quest.

    Thanks! No part can be removed from the others, but there is a trap door with a ladder that leads up to the second floor; it's hidden by the iron door. Usually my desk is cleaner.... well, not by much...

    How to you find the space to lean over and build that? I'm really loving the old classic feel, even though I myself prefer the newer modular buildings and the like. That is quite a town collection you have there.

    That's beautiful! And I agree with the hammocks, a great way to use those awkward pieces. I'm loving that stern, as well.

    Those are some big trees! I love it! There is just so much to look at. Everything about it just screams "Look and play with me!"

    UPDATE: I've started building, ordering of hulls and specialty pieces, etc. I only have part of the gundeck together. One side is mostly complete but the other side is lacking vital slopes. And the book that inspired the ship's name:

    Far up in the northern territories, a lone tower stands as vigil to protect the kingdom. Nothing else for miles around. High up on a mountain, it is nearly impenetrable. It will take more than a few soldiers to take over this tower. Excuse the mess that is my desk. I've been building like crazy in free time this past week.

    I'll apply!! 1) I've done Eurodina, the Halloween bloodbath, Def's Bloodbrick, Excalibur 1 and 2, and possibly a few others (can't recall off hand). 2) My focus is easy to do. I do have school during the day, but I have access to the internet. The only reason I may not be able to post at times is because of a play I'm in, and if we advance, my posting ability will be lowered for a month (but we find out if we advance tomorrow). 3)Yes 4)Favorite Mafia moment? Probably the crushing of innocents with chandeliers or the lynching of the stuttering townie. 5) Vanilla townies are important because they fill out the ranks. Not all games need a lot or a few. It depends on who is playing the game, who is running and what abilities are spread out amongst players. 6)Absolutely. I have no shame I hope I can play!

    Kiray walks down the stairs, looking at the adventurerers hanging around, taking in all the sights. The trades, the secret dealings, the friendships being made and the enemies. She walks off to a table and sits down, her fingers gliding over the hilt of her sword.

    Thanks! And yes, I am planning on building her. I actually started building today. She's not pretty right now, but she'll get there.

    Sorry for the double post, but here are four more pictures. the first three are old, showing the design. the last shows the completed design. She is based off of the Imperial Ship released a few years ago, but mainly because I wanted pre-fab rigging and I had no idea how to build that bow. The rest is more of my design, with inspiration (mainly cannons) taken from other builders.

    Kiray signs her name under Quest #65 and #66. She takes a deep breath and issues a silent prayer that she'll be picked for one of the quests. OOC: I may be out of town April 16-18, and that affects Quest #65.

    Just an update on the ship. I have finished designing her in LDD, actually a few days after starting the design. I haven't grabbed any screenshots for those yet because I've been busy and having to switch to a new computer has been kicking me in the rear. The ship also is now red and black instead of blue and black, for i have more of the red brcks necessary. Pics soon!
