  1. Nice job. At first I was worried that so much for the ecosystem on Dagobah on such a small area would be hard to look at, but you did it quite well. Everything was very pretty to look at.
  2. I just counted most of my collection on Brickset (I have a few more sets and CMFs I need to account for but other wise I'm done) and I came out to 29,235 individual bricks. This is not including minifigures or bricks I've bought online or found in the most random places (I once found a Bionicle kraana mask on my street). With extra pieces, I definitely have closer to 33,000, but I don't know. Is it at critical mass? I don't think so. As others have said, there is always that one piece we can't find. I certainly have that problem, especially as about all my sets from 2005 (I'm taking a guess here) are still built. Some from before that year are in mocs, lying around, etc. For me, critical mass is when I can have only a few sets around at any given point and the rest in storage. Will I eventually have to move pieces to bins? Probably, but I'll keep them in bags based on set, and I'll order new pieces if I need to.
  3. I like the outcome of this, Sandy.
  4. I agree with the Common Sense idea (though I do like my banking system). No fees, just a new topic like the embassy based on an honor system. Then, what we could do, if people are worried about money caps, We could leave it up to the QMs to say how much gold is capped in the quest. Recommended to start well below the cap in the beginning, so hopefully by the end you would have reached the cap.
  5. That's beautiful right there! There's so much detail on everything, the house, the graveyard, etc. Can't wait for more pictures.
  6. I have a suggestion that could help. We could have a small banking system. Say everyone can only carry a limited amount of gold (anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000, I'll let you guys decide) on their person at any one time. The rest would be stored in a bank in Heroica Hall, which could only be accessed in the Hall. Some quests could allow you to access the bank if you desire (at QMs discretion). Now, if a a monster is killed and drops gold, you can pick it up, but you can't carry more than the set amount of coin. The same thing can be done with consumables, armor, etc, at a later point. IF you do reach the limit, to bad, you can't carry anymore. If you're under your limit, congrats, you gain gold. Then in the hall you can drop it off in the bank, and yo can have as much in the bank as you want.
  7. Exactly! It looks they're paying quite a lot of attention to detail, etc. Even the little "Emmett" name tag on his pants, and for some reason, that sounds exactly how a LEGO shark would sound to me when thrown in a senate-like forum onto ABS tile....
  8. I think they animated it to look like stop-motion brickfilms, so that's why it looks a little choppy, but they may smooth over it a little more. I can see a lot of jokes only LEGO fans will get, like the Classic Space figure.
  9. That's great! Absolutely love the house and main keep.
  10. Well, I didn't really buy them as I got them as presents, but the Painter CMF and the SW skiff 9496. Pretty happy with both, but haven't had time to actually work with them and integrate them into my collection.
  11. I did watch the extended edition, and I know the shiv you're talking about. Maybe one of the sides of the heads should have focused on his creepy factor more and the other his mega-blocks-kissing side.
  12. Great review! That's a beautiful set, shame it's so much money. Though I disagree with you on Wormtongue's minifigure. He was a sniveling, slimy, no-backbone creature, and I feel like his face reflects that. Just my 2 cents.
  13. Kiray walked back into the hall after a long night's rest after her first quest. She was happy; she had succeeded with a group of heroes who knew what they were doing, people she could watch and learn from. The female knight walked up to the questboard to see what was new.
  14. "It was great working with you Bishop and Grimmy. I hope to work with you again." Kiray turned to Captain Patricia. "Thank you for this opportunity, Captain." Kiray then brought her attention to Arthur and Nyx. "I would also like to thank you two for allowing me to use these gifts. Arthur, your crown was invaluable. Nyx, while I did not need your bedroll, it was helpful to know I could use it." Kiray hands the Ancient Crown to Arthur. She then returns the spare bedroll to Nyx.
  15. "I'd rather us tell them what happened than the Chef, Bishop."
  16. "Something tells me that nipples aren't particularly the common subject amongst these people," Kiray added. "If I can add, the fighting we had was very intense, from all of us. The demonic food overpowered us; we just were not expecting this portion of food... We came in with the idea of looking for Steerpike, and any guards he may bring with him. Food was not expected to attack us. Chef Yasmar did a great job in keeping order in the kitchen amonst his cooks as we battled the cuisine." Kiray turned and looked at all of her companions. "That help?"
  17. Kiray slowly moved behind Nagure, using his big body to hide herself.
  18. "Almost there!" Kiray attacks from the front row.
  19. "My head hurts a bit, Arnulf, but I'll be fine. We can talk after we kill these things." Kiray repeats her actions.
  20. Kiray readies her weapon for another attack on the creature. She takes a breath, mentally preparing herself. Kiray attacks the Chaosaur from the FR.
  21. "Glad Steerpike has been eliminated," Kiray said. "What threat comes after these things? More demon food?"
  22. Kiray repeats her actions.
  23. "Glad to be back, boys. Let's get this thing." Kiray attacks the Chaosaur from the Front Row. "Come and get me."
  24. OOC: Sorry, Iit's been a little hectic on my end over here. Kiray thanks Sorrow as she gets up and follows the others in her party. "I guess those things hit me in the head worse than I thought? Now where the hell did they go?" She pushes back a lock of bloodsoaked hair as she listened to the waitress and Yasmar. "If I can say, we have had a lot to deal with. We're trying our best here."
  25. Thanks, Matteo1130. I'm actually keeping the height as the length is being added on (you can see the bow and the captain's cabin coming together below). Instead of a galley, I decided to have an area for easy access to treasure, goods, etc. Here you can see part of the stern, which is 1x4 log bricks and 1x2 log bricks. Not the prettiest, but they somewhat mold together and they'll be covered by the captain's cabin. The interior of the cabin as well as the exterior has changed. There are now two more gunports, making the ship have a total of 14 cannons, not including the swivel guns I plan on adding. The interior is now just plain black tiles, instead of alternating white and black 1x1 plates. I know it looks much different from the regular deck, but I like it. The bed is also a little different(and it is still being worked on). I changed the desk slightly. I do really like how it's coming, even with the changes.
