That's a great layout you've got there! It definitely looks more realistic witht the update. I approve of the cliff, looks pretty realistic to me, especially with the changing shades. Can't wait to see more!

Patrick Kaleta, a Buffalo Sabres hockey player, has been known to build LEGO like the Taj Mahal set.

Sorry to bump the thread, but here's two pictures I took a few days ago. There's more, I just have't edited them yet.

Thanks!

Holy Motors. That was one weird movie but I loved every single minute of it.
-
Thanks everyone! On a side not, I won't be building it in physical bricks, mainly because I don't have enough tan plates. for the floor.

Even though I still can't build with physical bricks for another week, I finally got a chance to build something in LDD today. I present to you, a college student with a bed bug problem!

That's a beautiful room you have there. Now you said this is just for your City sets... are there other rooms with other themes?
-
Very nice armies! I have to agree with TheLegoDr, vlad. The white, black and blue are a little jarring. Maybe it's the fact there is blue in there.

... the first thing you do when you get home from college is build LEGO sets you bought.
-
This wasn't a purchase but I was walking outside and found an Atlantis diver torso and legs on the sidewalk. No head or goodies though.
-
i bought the Castle Gold Getaway set yesterday, went back to my dorm to build it, then went to a party. I returned at 3 am and built the set. No regrets.

Me too! That or a modular police station, although I'd rather have the hospital. We've been needing a good hospital for awhile.

This looks great! The colors are beautiful and all the little details Hopefully it's out earlier than January.

Beautiful ship! The Constitution is one of my favorite ships and yours is stunning. Very ingenious with the electrical tape.
-
Thanks! And yeah, but there are stores around if where I need to get a quick LEGO fix, I can pick up a CMF
-
Here's an update on the ship. The starboard side is much further along (not really much, I need to order more pieces), along with the poopdeck. The height of one mast is almost where I want it and the other needs more bricks. The prow is just a stand in, as are the tan cannons, just for me to see what the ship can look like eventually, and how many black cylinders I need for cannons. The center part there is going to be four studs long, and I'm thinking of a design to put there. A swivel cannon, but I think I want to make it more mobile looking. Most of the mast. Yard arms, and parts to hold the rat lines are yet to be added. What do you guys think of the brown and black alternating? Unfortunately, the build is going to be halted as I need to order pieces, and I can't exactly bring this ship to college with me.

Are you a member of a LUG? No, I don't have the time and really wouldn't know where to begin. I wish I did but I don't. Sometimes I prefer building on my own anyway. And while I love LEGO, I can just get blocked on building or hit stopping points and not know how to go forward. Would you consider supporting more actively the online AFOL community (e.g. Eurobricks) as moderator, regulator (indexing, ...), making set reviews, etc.? Yes, but I don't have time. I make MOCs and read reviews, maybe even a review a set someday, but with college starting in a few weeks, I'll be separated from my collection so aside from digital creations, I won't have much to help with.

That's great! I love the scale of the wall and the hills towards the back.

I threw this together in a few days, mainly because I kept destroying it, stuck on what to build or how I wanted to build it. I really wanted to use that raised baseplate (man those things can be hard to build around) and wanted something simple, something that LEGO could market as a set (no this is not going on Cuusoo). So I present to you the Treacherous Tower Pass. A band of knights have taken over two forgotten towers and demand a toll for merchants and the like to pass through. If they do not pay or if the knights feel devious, they can send the boulders down to crush the passerbys and steal their loot. Close ups of the crenels and merlins: The scared merchant and his family: Comments and criticism are welcome!

That problem plagues me as well!

Thanks Mutant Orc. I should've added bones now that you mention it. I have a lot of skeletons lying about. Unfortunately, my green pieces are very limited, along with my trees as are my brown bricks. I have bricks in dozens of other colors, just not the ones I need.
-
Depending on the character roster, I may pick this up, especially since I haven't played a LEGO game since The Complete Saga.
-
Thanks, Ragnar. Yeah, I probably should've added more in retrospect. If I used those few amounts, probably closer to the green in a clump, right?

Just a small thing I whipped up to give my new CMF Centurion something to do. I also wanted to experiment a little with ground, as natural environments are hard for me to do for some reason. It's not much, but it's a start
