  1. Good pics! do we see a mini LA in the rear on the alternate dragster? if it is, then the wheelie function on the main model is probably done manualy with use of that LA - and not from motor power, thats terrible news for some of the dragster fans here.
  2. Welcome! i on the other hand dont think its possible to justify a such simple model as a harvester as RC, but who knows... could still be good The new pneumatics on the Acros seems to be awesome, im afraid its the weak 1 minipump compressor that doesnt do it justice.
  3. They are 127mm. 121 without spikes, and 58 width. The 56 mm (2.2) has more to do with the rim size.
  4. Rumors says that the first digit nr set in 2H will be 50 dollars (or euro?) but then we most likely will getting a empty box since the license alone costs like 50 Jokes asides, for 50 dollars im afraid we will get a small to mid size excavator with no pneumatics at all - functions will be very simple, like a couple of levers for controlling the boom and the bucket (plus a knob next to the bucket for rotating) and maybe one or two geared functions in the base, to raise and lowering the support legs and/or the blade. For 150 dollars on the other hand it will be a pretty epic set
  5. More likely; turning the propeller to roll the engine cylinders. And it seems to be a wheel inside which is most likely hooked up to the engine, so propeller and engine will work when playing with it.
  6. I think you are right, it makes sense to build it in that way ;) but if they would decide to go all-pneumatics, my idea would be pretty good :D
  7. Wondering how they are going to solve the rotating bucket mechanism on the Volvo excavator ... a new small turntable prepared for connecting pneumatic hosing would be greatful
  8. I would say 6 months to 1 year... we have to remember that the flagship sets we getting year after year takes Lego approx 1 year each to complete, and then they're also getting help from such advanced hi-tec software that we could only dream of, (while we are stuck to very simple programs that has many missing pieces) AND they work in team (we build alone..) BTW has it ever been a forest machine theme??
  9. Im afraid so, but theres not much to show... only two geared functions + a bucket lever. I think you are aware of the functions ;) Please do ;) let me know if your able to create some small/mid size openable bucket to fit I actually did some attempts, but the lever geometry when it is open or closed is all wrong, too hard to make.
  10. What a nice looking beast! looks like a RC and not like lego btw how does the small gears in the diff hold up with such big tires and torque?
  11. My brother took these pics (big thanks to him) so i can only post the pics that has been taken (i have no camera at the moment) but i will post the lxf file. http://www.brickshel...g_excavator.lxf (tracks not added, and one gear couldnt be added either) and here it is taken down a bit in some sections http://www.brickshel...taken_apart.lxf
  12. Maybe not exactly a mini but in a world of the giants these machines usually are made in, it will be. I wanted to create something in a more modest size, medium sized mining excavator. Two functions are geared through the super structure, and the bucket is using just a simple lever. The cylinder on the super structure is linked to the actuator, just something i did to fill some empty space on the top of the super structure. The original idea was to build the bucket and have one lever on each side - one for controlling the up/down and one for opening/closing the bucket, but that ship has sailed. The bucket was too difficult to build so i had to take a shortcut
  13. But on the other hand, a 300 euro (or dollar?) batmobile means that we will pay like 100 for the license only, so a car worth of 200 wont be that impressive we might think it will be... maybe comparable to the Le Mans car in size and functions (+ rc ofc)
  14. That yellow city crane does actually has some kinda functionality (a winch) but so has the 6080 king's castle for example... so where do we draw the line?
  15. That would be awesome, and it wouldnt be so very complex and expensive either since one single motor can power a compressor which then powering some pneumatics, this would be a excellent choose of model to come with the new long pneumatic cylinders.
  16. No they dont have any mechanical functions (i.e rotating knobs, lever, etc) and the set i posted dont either, but it includes some technic pieces
  17. Thats some nice looking bodywork! but throw in some headlights at front ;)
  18. If above sets could count as "almost technic" (pretty far away imo..) then this would too;
  19. In a comparison, will the white clutch gear be able to handle more or less torque than a LA?
  20. Ty for that pic of the dragster thats a nice find! (feel free to post others as well if you find) but it will probably take more time to cut out and mount these 40-50 stickers than building the model itself... I was hoping to see some 18945 panels but in BLACK (for a future project) but not yet as it seems... maybe BWE will have some.
  21. Thats not a real forest machine, just some weird looking log loader... i was thinking more something like this
  22. Something for the future. But i wish they could make one with tires first because we have never had a real forest machine, i.e 8wd.
  23. They are mostly good looking, especially the hydroplane boat looks awesome and reminds me of the rc boat Robbe Unlimited i had years ago. Dragster, firetruck and the go-kart looks good too and so does the mine loader even if the functions are a bit disapointing. Not a big fan of pullbacks but they seems ok, and we are getting an awesome helicopter and the 2H seems to be the best second half ever... so why all this negativity?
