  1. RC monstertrucks at around 4-5 kg (9-11 lbs) has been known to pull cars, im sure my 5 kg tamiya txt-1 would done it... but i havent test it yet! however, this build is absolutely awesome
  2. 42009 looks like a elf?! it looks like a hobbit!! ;) snacka om dunderbygge, and awesome and smart cab solution
  3. Of these i only own the 8890, and did build i.e the small blue buggy as well the large white truck on the front page - nothing special about these models. However the 8888 book seems to be awesome especialy the excavator, a genius construction if you thinking about the time - 1980(?) fully functional! which neither the 8419, 8047 or 8294 is...
  4. its a volvo! what can go wrong? ;) great build pal
  5. Indeed! pretty scary xD soon we have a crane capable of lifting the builder... keep up the good work! crane looks awesome
  6. When do we know which sets they will have for second half of the year?
  7. What kinda sets you want technic to make? for 2014 we get alot of "regular cars", imo just too many simple cars with no special functions. The only set who stand out is the construction crew. For 2015 i want to see a set never made earlier as their flagship. Why not a huge mining excavator or a 8wd timberjack/john deere based forwarder
  8. Impossible to pick one! the favorite sets are ofc the ones u never have had :P like unimog, the big cranes, the big 8265 wheel loader and ofc the 8043 excavator! some sets i have had that i liked the most: 8862 backhoe, 8851 excavator, 8853 loader (all 3 good old times) 8416 forklift
  9. welcome Bart! classic space rocks ;)
  10. If we talk classic space... galaxy commander (wing area) ;)
  11. Nah, the boom/arm looks ok its just the super structure that looks a bit unfinished and too small in comparison, but this is ofc a result due to the limitation of the pieces in this set. Another thing you could try is to use both worm gears in the super structure and save a nr of beams by using a entire link system, and put some more beams on the super structure. Good idea however! wheel excavators arent that common in lego technic ;)
  12. Wondering if the designer/designers has the B model in mind when they finished the main model, or if its some totaly different ppl that come up with the B model. Just some curious thoughts ;)
  13. Finally got to say this to you Jennifer, absolutely stunning model! i especially remember this very model together with a huge mining excavator since many years back. now when theres instructions available i regret i sold all my old school technic lego (20+ lbs) some years ago
  14. ty girl! (i suppose :P
  15. Finally! this one wont sink in inside the holes of the beams
  16. Cant post images, but this would be nice to build: http://s21.postimg.org/iyqkwu3xj/933.jpg
  17. ty pals! ;) tackar :P
  18. Looks very good, however the excavator could been made better by controlling the bucket linkage arm from the superstructure.
  19. Hi everyone ;) im 35 year old guy from sweden (nearly 30 years building experience, first set ever was galaxy commander) i was used to the traditional stud pieces but since a few years ago i decided to give the new stud-less pieces a chance and it turned out well. i especially like to build technic such as tractors, loaders, bulldozers, excavators etc.
