First sketches of my version. Because the original model was unacceptable in these days due to critical safety issues (holes in the floor) and had some several problems with front axle servicing and replacement, our engineering department with design studio decieded to completly regdesign the whole car into new generation, not just facelift it. We know, it might be too radical, and expwnsive for the final manufacturer, but we see it as necessity for further competitiveness. Design studio analyzed the original car, and found key elements that should be kept, or only slughtly modified. Engineering department got only one task and bunch of boundary conditions (e.g., the V6, front independent suspension and live axle in the rear. We still can not decide, whether we should make four- or just twodoor body for it. What do our potential customers want? The front section is just a sketch, it might not be the final version. Hope it does not exceed borders of rules of this contest. Hope you like it.

Thank you. I am glad you like it. For the RC version I tried to get rid of all of blue pins on the body, in the chassis it was not a good idea due to high stress in some parts of it.

Hi again, I made also a manual version of this car. Instructions and more pictures. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-29001/Horcikdesigns/jeep-wrangler-manual-version/#bi I would love to see this MOC (Rc or manual) in blue or dark azure. :D It features HOG steering, bunch of necessary accessories, V6 under the hood, and two live axles with differentials, opening doors that reveal detailed interior and huge luggage compartment and fake winch. it is modular like original Jeep, so you can easily take down the roof and doors.

42110 - Land Rover Defender
HorcikDesigns replied to 1gor's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I secretly hope that 42110 will introduce ball joint version of Technic, Axle and Pin Connector Perpendicular Split... It would be nice to mount new HUBs with them to old axles. -
Hi, sorry for bumping old topic, but I made instructions in form of .lxf file for this model and uploaded it to Rebrickable. It is not free, but the file is divided into modules that will help with assembly. It use two L motors for steering and winch and another two for propulsion. the gear ratio is 1:0,12 (or 3/25), so it is really heavy duty offroader. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-28281/Horcikdesigns/offroader-for-overland-adventure/#bi Photo of real thing that was used for Kostky Trophy expedition race. (This version used 2-speed transmission, but this setup was too unreliable for paid instructions, thus was replaced with direct drive with "crawler gear ratio" ) The file is divided into simple groups. For the custom rollcage you'll need to cut some pneu-tubes and rigid hoses with metal wire inside them to help them to keep required shape. The model looks best on old 81mm tires or on some 3rd party tires.

[TC15] AH-77S - HUNTER
HorcikDesigns replied to steph77's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I could not resist building this awesome MOC. I changed some details, in order not to wait for the parts, and to look similar to 8444. Hope you like it, and also you won't mind sharing it here. Thank you @steph77 and @Ivan_M for allowing us to enjoy this model too. Good luck in the contest! I inverted the gun-joystick connection - inverted the rotation (but it is not so strong, compared to the original) I hope to continue in the modifications in the future. -

Thank you, @steph77 and @Ivan_M for sharing the instructions, I look forward to build this model. (at least basic frame of it - with all functions) -
This colour scheme looks so good! I wish you loads of inspiration for next days, really looking forward to see this copter finished! Good luck!

One question comes to my mind - What are the max. slopes it manages to climb on rough and smooth surface?

Wow, that's really impressive MOC. Good job, I think you got my vote. (I really look forward to see the instructions, in case that you'd make it; your AW 169 was really great experience to build (at least it's core for understanding all of it's functions) -

Going to follow this project, I look forward to see it grow. Good luck! BTW, are you going to do some ground resonance tests after building it? :D (If yes, I wish you much better results :D) -

Thank you! Looking forward to see photos of your assembly. I am not sure, whether they exist, or about their price. I tried to edit the inventory to all existing parts, but not the model. Hope it is possible, at least with some mods.
