  1. Oh, this looks so clean. Good job! I am sure you can't be last with MOC like this.
  2. Well, I'll reconsider the engine, but that means that I might have to sacrifice both halfaxles, such a high price. The front end will definitelly be built partially from regular bricks, maybe also some hoses. I have not checked the scale yet. If the lights will be too big, the car will get slightly cartoony look. It might be ok, but if not, there won't be any lights.
  3. Update time! The front will be real challenge to make right. I also play with idea of rebuilding the chassis, rework the rear suspension and add the fake engine (at least radiator fan and belts connected to the wheels. That would also mean rework of the steering. Another idea is to not include suspension, and make propper fake engine. What would you prefer?
  4. Thank you, @Seasider and @I_Igor. It will probably be just some Tatra-inspired mockup (parts inspired by T77, T87, T97 and T600 and other streamliners) , but I'll try my best to choose just one of them.
  5. Here is my entry for the contest - Streamlined TATRA T87. It has openable engine cover, working steering and theoretically also swingarm suspension in the back. The front hood cover is also detachable, and it hides the reserve wheel. It is built from approxiamately 950 parts. INSTRUCTIONS: (full PDFguide) https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-43900/Horcikdesigns/tatra-t87/#comments Hope you like it! __________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________ Original post: Well, I would like to present you my first sketch assembly of my model for TC18. I would like to build streamline Tatra 87-like vintage car. I am not sure whether I'll make exact scale model or just a model inspired by the real thing. Time will show. For now, I have photo of rear section. It is not final. I really look forward to compare it with my (still assembled) T603 MOC. (can be found in scale modelling subforum) Enjoy!
  6. It would be nice, but if the car is built symmetrically, it seems to be that the panel should be 9 studs wide. Two holes on each side and 5 between the perpendicular connectors, that are on sides of 3 studs wide assembly consisting of that two black bent liftarms.
  7. Thanks, it looks stunning on that rims! To the C-pillar - It is improvement, but it is still too thin for my eye to be satisfied (to be honest, it is sometimes too demanding, even for my taste) :D Personally, I am not sure, how it should be done, but some system bricks or panels would do well for it. However, it is matter of taste, your MOC is really great! I know, I am late to the party, this had to be said before finishing the MOC.
  8. Wow, impressive work, really like the chassis, engine, and I also really like the body, except the C pillars. The car desserves them to be built with more patience (sorry to say that this way, but they really disturb the feel of really well built MOC, because I know you can make them better. ) Have you tried Defender rims on the white version?
  9. Just an idea, what about motorcycle contest?
  10. No beams/liftarms would be real challenge to join. Small scale sounds good, but watercraft-themed contest sounds good (meaning out of comfort zone for me) too. ;)
  11. Well, I fid not expecting that. Thank you all who voted! I also would like to say big thanks and congratulations to everyone who entered for making this contest really fun and challenge to participate. I enjoyed the build, watching other entries, and also the discussion. I really look forward for next contest.
  12. Technically very good job, but that CaDa (?) tires and rims feel slightly wrong, but on the other hand, the hook in front looks good. Where does it come from?
  13. 15: 10 1: 6 11: 4 8: 3 19:2 7: 1 Well, it was really difficult this time to distribute the points. It is a mix of my personal looks based preferences and originality factor. All entries are unique and great in it's own way. Thank you for this contest, it was really fun to build something unusual. :)
  14. That's also why your jerrycan is much better, not only because of that chain used for securing the cap. (I might borrow this idea for my future projects that will involve this accesory) Thanks, I am glad you like it.
  15. I love the fact it is pedal-propelled. Really original (and funny) approach to the theme, great looks. I really like your entry. ;)
  16. @1980SomethingSpaceGuy Heh, thanks, but the Extreme adventure set (42069) had even better cans...
  17. Thanks, @Touc4nx and @Samolot. I am glad you like it. I know, the video is slightly fast, but I have not made footage long enough to he able to trim and cut it to longer version.
  18. 9. Harshharvester Functions: - steering and fake engine - tow arm elevation and extension - front attachment tilting, elevating - front spike-drum rotation, powered from front wheels via on/off switch - button-actuated minelayer Hope to see you on the road.
  19. Wow, it has shorter wheelbase than width. Really mad. ;D The front spikes look great, but I would preffer them in another colour (not sure it is possible). Taxi sticker is my favourite detail. Do you plan to use the body in casual Taxi cab MOC?
  20. Mad cersion of @mahjqa's Landship was first thing that came to my mind. Massive MOC (wow, I've never thought that 42100 could ever look so small). However, some disproportionalities really bother me - how could people tgat are able to enter tge control roombe able to climb that ladder? And, comparing size of the ship and monstertrzck chassis, wow, that monstrtruck had to be really monstrous. Do not understand me wrong, I rally like the idea of using old ship for mobile base (imagine the fuel consumption, nothing scream more MadMax than this), but IMHO, some proportions should be kept. Aside from that, it is really great MOC.
  21. Oh, that jerrycan is awesome! By the way, this whole MOC is great! I like it a lot.
