  1. A question I might perhaps have overlooked left or right, but are both events in a way connected (aka, are the drow responsible for unleashing the pklague as well), or is this not allowed as this will show from the story and the results wether it was or not etc. But the point being, can we, if we get a side assigned, `hint` at the other event going on as well, suggesting a possible connection even though this might proove to be totally not so after all?
  2. Phase 3 of my (wizard's) tower
  3. "Finally some rest!" the old wizard grumbled. He had retired to a cave only to have villagers climb the cliffs for all their petty issues. He build a cabin, but to no avail as they came boinking on his door. Now he hadfinally constructed a menacing black tower, and hired some cyclopean muscle to keep unwanted guests away. He gazed down the edge and saw his muscle burn the last parts of the wooden stairs. They might be more muscle then brains, their leader barely able to count to potato, but at least they understood simple commands, albeit often to the letter. As he thought over that, he suddenly realised he had ordered them to burn `all` stairs... and then saw that the stair leading to his rooftop experiment terrace was gone. As he shouted a loud NOOOOOOO in frustration, a reply came back from below... "Potato?" The fire burning down the last steps of the stairs Chase off ALL intruders I completed my third and final phase of the Age of Mitgardia `Defenses - Tower` phase, and continued on the track of a wizard`s tower. Now to wait the verdict to be allowed to add that Watchmen title to the profile ;-)
  4. Okay, didn`t realise we needed to post her here, so the Thorgills sails out for sneaking into Kaliphin waters
  5. I hope you don`t mind, but I`ve featured it in my small blog in it`s `Inspirational Lego` post of today. Which is basically nothing more then drooling eye candy I found on the net the past days or weeks...
  6. I really like this ship, and I don`t mind the bulky look of the front actually. Middle age vessels like knarr`s and the likes where not really reknowned for their sleekness
  7. Nice builds, i especcially like your pallisade walls
  8. A hilarious project, really brought a smileto my face!
  9. I would like to sign on for the Drow intelligence gathering for Simon
  10. I *might* be putting some pieces in with the BeLug clubs big display, namely the Storage AoM build, and perhaps some other thingies left or right.
  11. Really love it, the hill and everything is a beauty
  12. Thanks for the comments. Unfortunatly, I`ve ran out of sloped blacks and browns, hence why I went for the `less aerodynamically suited` nose, I`ll see if they pop up in the local PaB before the deadline
  13. My modest entry, the blockade runner Thorgills
  14. The Mitgardian Royal Navy vessel Thorgills, formerly known as the KFP (Kaliphlin Floating Plank) Desert Snake, is a small but swift blockade runner sloop. Lightly armed, the vessel stands at a modest length of only 33 studs while carrying the shallow depth of 2 bricks, making her ideally suited for coastal operations and across the calmer inner seas and waterways, then to the rough going of the large oceans. Armed with only two naval crossbows for close protection, she has a crew compliment of 4, namely captain Blackhelm Leifstone, first mate and workhorse Orgam Rorgil and the two sailors doubling as soldiers Haki and Hejka. With the outbreak of the Great Naval Arms Race between the proud norsemen and the sons of the desert, the vessel has been put to service for scouting missions and deep water intrusions, accompanied by the valiant Mitgardian knight Hagen of Merak. Even though I never build anything before even remotely naval related, I gave it a shot with this military entry and a smaller ship, which focusses on looking sleek more then on looking like a battle brawler. Hope you like it a little!
  15. That dragon is awesome!
  16. I was just wondering if there was an actual naming convention. My build will be called the `Mandalay`, formerly known as the kaliphim vessel `Desert Snake`, a commandeered blockade runner. I`m just trying to figure out how to build decent `brick build` sails, as I don`t think the munchkin will allow it if I stole borrowed his pirate ship cloth sails of his lego sets
  17. Roighto, so need to call my ship the MRN (Midgardian Royal navy) Floating Brick Concoction or something then ;-)
  18. Perhaps a strange question, but are there something like guidelines on ship ame designations. You know, the prefixes modern day navies use like USS, HMS etc...
  19. That`s a very nice ship!
  20. Will there be a full result table somewhere, or is that a no-go in the Guilds book challenges?
  21. Tower, the second phase... and probably my last build for this quarter`s registration.
  22. The second phase of the Tower `tree` of the Age of Mitgardia project, I have been expanding from a small cave on a hill to a wooden tower on that same hill. The grass on the rocks has been trimmed and cleaned, and a pole supported tower has arisen on the spot where the cave stood. For phase three, this has to become a stone tower, but as I`m already `twisting` the concept a little, I think - once I have enough bley and grey bricks - to build up on the mountain to make it a cliffside on one end, and then build a stone tower expanding from the rock side and the wooden tower, to flow into one big wooden / stone hybrid tower.
