The story you got running here is great. I knida like the whole cabbage for quest idea, feels very Pyhtonesque, and the build is just awesome, the gold and purples have a very 'royal' feel to it

Often, but I found that especially on the smaller sets, considering how much minifigs go by for on BL, are cheaper in a boxed set then seperate and one can never have enough soldiers ;-) That and as a 'non licensed' range, the medievals tend to pop up often in normal stores discounts and promotions racks

I'd probably snatch up the sets I didn't buy for 'display purposes' for the minifigs, then move to the Castle line for the odds and ends as they are the most intresting for moc'cing in my case

That is a mighty original idea, I like it!

Age of Mitgardia (free-build-challenge)

Tower Phase One and Store Phase One completed -
"Can`t a wizard get some peace and quiet to sort out his plans for world domination?" Mechandro thought as he build a small outpost ontop the cliff. "Bit cramped though, I guess I`ll have to start expanding soon, especcially if this beastie starts to grow hmmm." The tower line is also a bit of a different `idea` on how I want to build to progress. Step 1 has to be an outpost, then a wooden tower and finally a stone tower. I`m thinking of going the route of a Wizards Tower I`ve always wanted to build since I have that small wizard set from the Castle range, and will be using this particular rock as the base, expanding upwards by changing the `build up` at first to the type of towers, and adding action around the base as that one gets expanded as well.

Not all traffic of small time budding merchants come to the cities by cart and road. Some prefer to travel by river on small river rafts, as this tends to go swifter... I went for a completely different approach with the Store. Normally, phase one consists of a Market Cart, but I thought to go in a different route and instead of building a cart pulled along a road, to build a small trade boat going down a waterway. This gives me the option for the later stages to build off from a waterside for the market, if it works out as planned with a pier and such. Ambitious and a lot to think off how to do it...

That is a great MoC, definitly better then what I did at that age. Now if he only changes the white banner to a yellow one, we can recruit him into Mitgardia over at the Guilds of Historica

Somehow, I doubt their precise demographic to be of great concern, many 5 year olds aren't suited to watch those movies anyways, so their experience comes from kits. I think in this range, it's more targeted at the 10+ year olds, and the 30 year olds looking for excuses to buy kids toys ;-) ... like me

I know im an AFOL but i still expect some LEGO under the tree for me &

Well, I was mistaken, the munchkin didn't get bags end, but I did get the Wizard Battle yayaayay -
A very good review, but I doubt I'll pick up this set, to much 'playable' for my taste and not enough 'display', which as an AFOL is what I tend to pick my LotR sets with in mind. Won't stop me from BL'ing at least Radagast though, gorgeous model!

I 'subtly hinted' at Bag's End (An Unexpected Gathering) I think by the weight of the package, she bought me a steel bDSM flogger or something, it is all chinkling and clinging inside I also have suspicions that the set is actually under the tree... for the little one! :cry_sad: -
Sauron / Isildur, prolly the same 'style' like the Wizards Battle set (for a rock, and a bit bigger Sauron perhaps)

Myabe they'll do a Minas Tirith 200+ euro exclusive like Ortanc? And Schultz was his maiden name ;-)

I believe it is the policy of LEGO pab that it would'n include any 'specific' parts, especcially not from franchised lines. Not 100% sure on it though, but I believe I read that somewhere. Same with the minifig 'tables' to create your own models

A small detail I love, the smoke on the chimney. *takes notes in the big book of better stolen good then copied poorly*

I wasn't actually to sure about which part of the hydrology to register it for, but no worries, I'll settle that (hopefully) in a future moc :-) -
