  1. Fom Wikipedia: The Mole Antonelliana (pronounced [ˈmɔːle antonelˈljaːna]) is a major landmark building in Turin, Italy, named after its architect, Alessandro Antonelli. A mole in Italian is a building of monumental proportions.Construction began in 1863, soon after Italian unification, and was completed in 1889, after the architect's death. Originally conceived of as a synagogue, it now houses the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and is the tallest museum in the world. A representation of the building is featured on the obverse of the Italian 2 cent euro coin. I want to recreate some building of my city following the Lego Architecture way (skyline) but when i start to build i didn't respect the right ratio, so i decided to try to recreate the entire building in a highest scale. This moc are maded by over 830 parts, measuring 19.2cm width, 18.8cm lenght and 52.4cm height (7.6/7.4/20.6 inches). Originally, at the top of the building are present an angelic statue, falling down after a tornado and then replaced by the actually star. The Mole is also the tallest unreinforced brick building in the world. Mole Antonelliana by Ario Gaviore, su Flickr

    [MOC/IDEAS] The Mole

The Mole - originally Krtek - is a cartoon character created by Czech animator Zdeněk Miler. He has appeared in 50 animations between 1956-2002. The mole is curious, friendly and caring. The animations vary from couple of minutes to half an hour in lenght and apart from the debut, "How the mole got his trousers", do not feature any narration or dialogue. Character's non-figurative exclamations were voiced my Miler's daughters. This was to have the cartoons understandable in every language without need of dubbing. The mole cartoons have been very popular in several countries, including many Central European countries, Russia, India, Japan and Finland. This is also my first IDEAS project. You can find it here: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/96873418-a994-42b5-a8d8-ecfd3ba1af8a Support is appreciated. The model is rather sturdy - my models usully are not - as the Mole is quite a cylinder-shaped animal. He is also very round, which took plenty of SNOT connections and curved slopes to get right. The 3x3x2 curved corner pieces were the key parts. Another challenge were the arms, as I didn't want them to be just couple of tubes. More pictures can be found on my blog, Cyclopic Bricks.

    MOC: Mole

Hello, this is a mole. It just dug a new tunnel... P.S.: Please support the guinea pig on lego ideas. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/115052
  4. Howdy folks :) With the help of my children, I got back to Lego about a year ago, started to buy massively and then found my true purpose in life, Technic! ROLUG was a great help to me and I began to build various cars for local TT contests, then I found Eurobricks and I participated in the Bionicle contest, as well. Now, I consider myself a newbie in Technic and I mostly adapt existing models to my liking, but since recently I started to build my own MOCs from scratch. What I want to show you guys is my latest creation, an arctic exploration vehicle based on the famous Thunderbirds show, namely The Mole, in my own interpretation. This is my 2nd attempt at this, my first was ok for showing-off but could not actually move well on snow (lol), so now I am rebuilding it, with performance in mind. I am basically building a high-profile tank with a huge drill in the front and another cool function which I prefer to keep secret, until it's working as I want. My personal goal is to drive it head on into a snow bank and to pass through it like butter! (we can all dream, no?) See the photos below and let me know what you think. Any suggestion or comment is welcomed, thank you all for watching. If you are curious to see more photos and also what I have built so far, feel free to head over to my Flickr page. Enjoy :) https://www.flickr.c...th/16439896211/

    Thunderbirds Mole MOC

In case you guys don't know, Thunderbirds was a 1960s era TV puppet show that later became a cartoon and then a live-action movie. This is the Mole, a drilling/rescue vehicle. Turning the back of the drill portion spins the drill. The drill itself can be rotated downwards. What do you guys think?

    Quaker

Here's my latest Quaker! Quaker by Zachattacx, on Flickr As you can see he is based on a Star-Nosed Mole with the Ninjago Sai as a tip on the drill nose. His body is also based on a driller type machine. He is a brain attack villain moc. Hope You Like It!
