[WIP] Another Truck
Rishab N posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Well I started work on another truck. It all started when I was trying to build a car, and wondered why no one puts gearboxes in truck MOCs. So, I decided to make a manual truck with a 2 speed gearbox. I also wanted a pneumatic crane on the back, but wanted all the wires/functions to be routed to the middle of the truck. Something like this Here's the chassis. Its quite sturdy and can take some abuse. I added a bed and the Unimog crane as a test. Current progress is looking much messier as I have not had any time to order new parts. The front axle has been moved forward one stud and the truck now has Ackermann steering (based off this http://www.moc-pages.../moc.php/320971) Excuse the messy colors and such, but I was able to wire all the pneumatics and turntable rotation. I plan to have 3 pneumatic functions: 2 cylinders for the crane and outriggers. I wanted the sides to be studded and smooth as I liked the tile look. Its quite cramped in the middle but everything works out. Right now, I've hit a road block for the last several weeks. i simply don't know how to design a proper cab or crane for that matter. As of now I've reverse engineered Efferman's knuckleboom crane(http://www.brickshel...ry.cgi?f=477568) in order to gain some inspiration. As always any feedback or ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks Rishab -
Hello This is my Rat rod buggy I designed this model to be simple so I can make Lpub instructions for it but them are taking a long time to make It has HOG steering and no suspension and the notorious BLUE seat In the back I tried to make custom stickers for nitrous oxide.... I had to hand make them because my printer only has black and white inc and color is too expensive side view picture of the "interior"(and the blue seat) Top view where you can see the HOG wheel Bottom view of the steering rack and chassis Thank you for reading!

[MOC] Yubihama2

EDIT: chassis added - wath the bottom of this topic. What could be "better" than red lego technic supercar? I have tried to make one, and this is the result: (slightly more photos: https://www.flickr.c...9733@N07/50E1Rt) Yubihama 2 Yubihama 2 Yubihama 2 It should be imaginary japan-styled car, originally based on my "Gearbox in red box" car (for more info visit my Flickr gallery) (their front axles are nearly the same) Yubihama 2 This car features everything that regular LT supercar should - full suspension (in the front independent with advanced geometry and stabilizer (non working because of the stifness of lego axles; rear axle is connected with the torque ball, so it can be called live axle (I wanted to use independent suspension, but in the moment of assembling it, all needed pieces were used elsewhere, and I have not planned to continue with this project to this stage), Yubihama 2 Yubihama 2 full HOG steering, with working steering wheel, Yubihama 2 opening hood, trunk (with NOS botle in it) and side doors with lock (it is weird, but it works :D ), 3 cylinder fake engine, intercooler (also fake), Yubihama 2 roll cage, and Racers stickers. Hope you like it ;) Right now am I working on my Enforcer for TC7. -
(MOD) Custom Customized Pick-up (42029)
HorcikDesigns posted a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Original Customized pick-up was a great parts-bag, but not good model. So I had modded it a bit... (I wanted to try the modders work too :) ) Full album: https://www.flickr.c...57650165103590/ I did not want to make it RC (particullary because I had all motors and PF parts used in other MOCs). I changed the whole front part of chassis to make it 4×4, used old wheel hubs in the front and lowered the whole truck a bit. On the other hand, I had left the cabin's bed, and only added wider fenders to the front part. I also improved the headlights to fit more to the design of legendary Rebel Wrecker (8858). It still has many bugs, but I did not want to make more improvements, because I looked forward to making a wrecker from this tipper. :) (I will upload the Wrecker as soon, as I edit the photos) Instructions does not exist. Enjoy ;)
