  1. 10220 is my favorite Lego model of all time (yes - it wins with every Technic set ;) ) - but it definitely needs some love to be something more than just a beautiful sculpture. I would like to add suspension and steering - but I do not have any bulletproof solution for such a small space (picture of bare "base" - http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-c2sdXPLjFxw/TpfWQGZQUmI/AAAAAAAACO8/ARmir6mTTow/s1600/H88-Lego-10220-T1-Chassis.jpg - thanks to The Car Blog) Has anyone ever made a Lego car in similar space with working suspension? I need some inspiration :)

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Judging from the other rumours-related topics - CM4Sci is the guy who knows stuff. He has made an 'educated guess' that we will get the hospital not the inverted whatever-it-is - so I believe we will get the not inverted hospital :)
  7. Sariel, is there any chance that you could post a picture of Beetle with Camper Van's wheels on? Thank you in advance :)
  8. "Authentic stickers to give the model the faithful final touch" - meh.

    Creator 2016

I love the potential of this set. It seems to be a perfect gift set both for die-hard Lego fan and newbie. With this set you get 3 different scenarios to play with. Simply awesome!
  11. I believe that is what makes this set the winner of this year's Technic's line-up. It is "big enough", looks good (except for crappy wheels), provides sought-after parts for decent price (because it does not contain PF elements).

    2016 Lego trains

Do you have any rumours? :>
  13. My take is that the crane is there just to provide functional attachment that does not require many parts - I strongly believe this set was developed to be a sandbox for MOD fans - as Unimog was. I love it :)
  14. Wow, AFOLs get lots of love from TLG this year! I was about to say Technic fans - but there are some incredible sets in other themes also *looks at GBHQ sitting on the shelf*.

    What Modular Should I Buy?

For this price I would rather buy Ghostbusters Firehouse instead...
  16. Unnumbered bags contain only beams and plates - and I am missing one black window frame piece and one 1x2x2 brown wall element
  17. It is hard to believe that in case of such a big set TLG would expect anyone to open different bags that those that are specified in the instruction...
  18. I am opening bags for one number at a time. So there was no chance to misplace parts :(
  19. I am currently in bags number 7 - and so far there has beed two quite important pieces missing :/
  20. I strongly believe that it will be available for more than Tumbler as it attracts both GB and modular building fans. But no one can be 100% sure. Regarding the quality of the box - those of you, who already got the set must have noticed that it has nice glossy finish. It also does not seem to be a lot thinner (if it is at all) than e.g. Detective Office's box. I think that the argument, that TLG cuts costs of packaging is not quite valid.
  21. I got used to having the item shipped in 1-2 days. I think S@H has spoiled me.
  22. I have ordered GBHQ in S@H on January 1st and my order still has an "In warehouse" status. What does it practically mean? Is anyone in similar situation?
  23. There was this one review that said it is 418 pages
