Horrah! Elven MOC topic! :) It's cool when elves use some technology stuff and combine it with magic :) -
Oh, really, this charges my imagination! :) And fan-stories about characters would intresting too. We even have three unique villians (however, I don't think they are actually villians but just some kind of "dark-side" persons) It seems like Noctura is the most powerful one and even have her own shadow world, Ragana is her ambitious apprentice and Cronan is handsome badass overlorld with little his own silly army. I think they don't let other heroes be bored :) I watched Lego Movie and loved the idea about borderless creativits. It gently tells " If you want more, go and make your own story!"

Woow, this walking thing is awesome!!! It's so intresting how this mechanism works. The fortress is beautiful , I like it's style and feel of southern sea adventure :)

There's really something intresting in this old minimalistic style! It's aestethics look fresh to me, I did't see lot of builds like this before. -
Then it's sad. Elves is the theme that returned me to Lego from "dark age". Seems I should look for sets I doubted to buy before like Goblin's village and fire lion. Or may be I will get some friends minidolls and turn them into elf folks :) And I watched Lego Movie 2 teaser-trailer, I hope there will be some awesome minidolls! That space fairy looks cool :) She even have shoulder armor.

No, I'm joking that many girls like and some of them even may go crazy about handsome characters like Loki or Sherlock, and I mean thet would be funny idea to make series about that kind of guy :) However it's more about teenager gilrls. You're right, it's reasonable side :) Anyway, if there will be awesome design, what matter about theme? I just want it to be fancy with intresting color combinations and building techniques. And sparkles - Elves have all, I hope this base idea will live in new themes :))

Gorgeous building!! This LDD creation looks awesome, but I'm afraid that ball joints for legs would be too weak for real model :( And I like horse in the link! -

I think for some reason it's good that "classic" or "generic" themes leaved in past. Now Lego creates much complex and delicate series with more attention for details and personality. Each universe is unique, also it's main strong side, in comparation with "Ones-who-should-not-be-named-on-this-forum" who have poor imagination and perfect only in stealing ideas. No one can walk into the same river twice, and is there need for that? I liked DS girls designs too, but I'm just not fan of comics and have limit of buying legos, so olny Elves is my choise, I collected almost everything of them. BTW may be good idea for pure girls-aimed minidolls would be like "Loki and others" :) Or Thranduil. Or Sherlock!

Hello! I had enough minidoll doubles, and I there's not much citizens in my elven kingdom. Sets present some locations, but when main heroes go out, that places look abandoned. So I made some new characters to fix that :) Here's from left to right: Kauri, elf of air. He is happy owner of Farran's precious head and huge violet dreads :) He is crew of airship and Skyra's assistant. Rina, wood elf in armor. I think she is warrior of forest and goblins make her very angry. She constantly keeps her eyes for Treetop Hideaway. Limi, wood elf. Just a peace inhabitant in village with Secret Marketplace :) May be she is a gardener or works in fruit shop :) Flaria, fire elf and powerful magician, lives in the village. At first I wanted to make a male elf, but male head looks not good with Aira's hair. Other views: I added some details with milliput, it's very handy for such work, it don't need baking for hardening. For painting I use Citadel colors. Feel free to share this images anywhere :) P.S. I don't sure if I post it in right place of the forum :( But all discussions about Elves are here so I decided to do this way.

Thank's, it's pretty surpsise ^_____^ Thank you for translation! :) Thank you! :) I think I should buy Friends sets to get more minidolls for that purpose =) I like your folks so much! :) There's lot of various combinations and personality. It's great when you have all suitable pieces for customization, but if not... someone have to use hand-made stuff like I do :)) -

No, in first I speak about girls preferences in general, in second just about me :) I know some girls( however, they are adults) who like, as example, Mass Effect but they mainly intrested in social relationships there, not in the space decorations, and all of them admire fantasy aestethics. I mean, it's kind of "geeky" girls :) Yes, contemporary urban fantasy would work nice! I'd like to see blend of Elves and Friends. Also to speak about all that old-style and 80's inspired trending stuff, I remember She-Ra cartoons that made me crazy :)) I think Unikitty have a little bit of sense of that style.

I hope there's other reason for disappearing sets from some stores than end of the series. Btw is some on-line markets in Russia new sets appears with 30% discount straight from the start, I have no idea why, but that's nice to me :) And girls like fantasy and living creatures more than sci-fi and spaceships, so I don't think it's good idea to make retro-futuristic theme with mini dolls, and Elves are great enough. I don't think any other theme compares with Elves for me. Harry Potter and magical creatures have not enough sparkly magic and too nuare with it's desaturated color scheme. I liked last wave of Nexo Knights, villians there reminded me UFO aliens that I desire in my childhood, but it is shortest and was closed :( Also while seeing Elves episodes I like that this series fits some near-philosophic and psychological spheres (may be like some moments of Ninjago) while Friends mostly is about having a nice time. To speak about what I dream to see in next year that is cat people, cool and furry like khajiits from The Elder Scrolls or Thundercats may be, but in minidoll style :)

Some years ago my friend gifted me Bionicle set 8984 , and I had no idea what to do with it's bulky parts until I had enough pretty red and black brichs that I didn't use in other mocs. Espesially I like that three-leaf piece from one of goblin's plants, I wanted to have nice use of it. Also mecha MOCers like ChybbyBot inspired me very much, I wanted to try to make similar big creature and I had two fun evenings building this one :) To make a story behind I think this beast was builded by goblins for their king to fight Dragon Queen. But she is okay about it because good forces always win! :)

Thank you! :) heh, I prefer pretty creatutes much than horrible, but that bionicle called Stronius had very brutal details. Anyway I think that's good that lego have no resrictions with portraying dark creatures :)
