I think I know the answer, but I just wanted to double check - are the Disney Princess Lego Storybooks a thing of the past (except for the remaining stock of the Little Mermaid and Peter Pan books)? -

I’m interested to see how people mod the Museum. In particular, I’d be keen to explore having the dinosaur in the central section with the stairs winding around it to try and maximise the space in the “wings” on their side and include some more exhibits, the curator’s office, etc. -

I like it. It’s lovely to see a return to a single purpose building. I’m looking forward to seeing more photos, but I’m not loving the curator’s office in the dome on the roof. And the dinosaur fossil does look quite small. I do wonder how three true stories on a 32 stud wide plate might have turned out. Perhaps just too similar to Town Hall? -

I’d love two Modulars a year, although for budgeting reasons (and the ever increasing costs of Lego), perhaps one would need to be a half / 16-wide Modular. -

I agree! Interior detail IF it can be clearly seen from “outside”, but otherwise just a “suggestion” of the interior is sufficient for me. I’d prefer those bricks be put towards a more impressive facade or an appropriate secondary / mini build, like a vehicle, street vendor, etc. -

Given the piece count, I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a large, single purpose building like a hospital, school or museum. I know Lego currently prefers Modulars to have multiple buildings / facades, etc for storytelling and street building purposes, but this high piece count really has potential for something grand and which fills a missing piece in the Modular “city”. -

The Peter Pan diorama looks lovey and would be a great precedent for an entire line of similar Disney / Pixar dioramas based on assorted movies. BUT that price is crazy! The new Disney Castle images have me very excited for the possibility of a Sleeping Beauty / Disneyland Castle one day. -

The new castle is nice, but not nice enough to buy again. However, IF someone modded it into Sleeping Beauty’s Castle / Disneyland Castle I could perhaps be convinced. -

The Botanical Gardens look absolutely beautiful! -
Main Street is nice, but I prefer the enclosable style of Bike Shop and Cafe (31026). Space roller coaster looks good, although I must admit that I was expecting a more classic Space design (grey, blue and yellow) as opposed to being more realistic (white, etc).

The Disney 100 sets are certainly good for my wallet so far! Only the Up House has any real appeal, although there are some nice minifigures in the 4+ train and the newly leaked villains buildable objects sets. -

Absolutely! Even if it’s the pink, blue and gold colour scheme … that’s pretty much the Disneyland / Sleeping Beauty classic colour scheme. I understand that Lego likes remakes, but … I don’t know. I just would have much preferred a Disneyland (LA or Paris or a blend) castle before another Disney World castle. And Disneyland seems a bit more fitting for the celebrations given it was the first theme park castle. -

Yikes! I hope that the mega Disney castle isn’t just a newer version of the Disneyworld / Cinderella’s castle. That seems like a huge missed opportunity to me. Surely it has to be the Disneyland (LA / Paris) / Sleeping Beauty castle? Or at least the Beast’s / Prince Adam’s castle? Something different. -

Ooh … the open, internal, diagonal staircase is a really nice touch. Similar to one of the initial designs for the Boutique Hotel with the diagonal thoroughfare.

Wow … I really like that initial design. The two neon signs are great, especially the saxophone. The colours, the rooflines (especially on the jazz club), the extra floor on the pizzeria, etc. -

Keeping my fingers crossed that one of these bigger / 18+ Disney sets is Disneyland Castle aka Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. I’m torn between the best piece count though - the smaller seems maybe a touch too low and the bigger seems way too many, unless there’s a lot of superfluous builds (although some detailed parade floats could be cool after seeing the 4+ train). -
Is it? Locally (Australia) the castle and pirate ship could be purchased on special for around $100 (AUD), whereas the Galaxy Explorer is $160 (AUD) on special. I guess different region pricing? Edit: I didn’t realise that the Galaxy Explorer is something of a retailer exclusive down under (only available at one major retailer (Kmart)), so that would help explain why it’s never been available for as low a price as the castle and pirate ship as there’s no competition.

I’m thinking some kind of classic space themed set. The Galaxy Explorer is nice, but pricey. I think there could be something similar, but at the price point of the Creator castle and pirate ship.
