Excellent work once again. Just curious, is making Lego models your day job? You could definitely get paid for your creations and your attention to detail is astounding.

Old sets rebuild with (mostly) new bricks

I just took a look at your photos. I really love the train, it's so blocky but it looks so right. Thanks for sharing with us. -
This is a wonderful build. Love the furniture and walls.

It must have been some lovely nostalgic building for you. Have you got pics of the train and car on their own as well? -
yellow for sure, I see it's uses in a licenced set but would not like to see them use it over all their themes. Second the poll idea.

Excellent work, thanks for sharing with us. Love the roof and I never thought of using the robot hand part as pliers/tongs for the blacksmith, really works as a tool.

How do you build your Lego sets?
legoguy1984 replied to Wonderpants's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I prefer chaotic most of the time, will do one set at a time though. Last time i mixed all my newly bought sets and I struggled to tell the difference between grey and pearl grey parts finally resorting to part numbers to make sure I had used the correct colour. Medieval Market Village was a bit of a pain without the numbered bags and having one part in dark navy blue that looked like black didn't help much. So in the end it really depends on how I feel at the moment of building and I'm glad that we have the choice at the end of the day. -
I second the long term commitment idea. similar to the City line. Not every set has to have conflict.

Don't most of us on here see the sets as parts packs most of the time, while sets like The Kingdoms Joust and Medieval Market village are pretty much perfectly designed straight out the box? This is just my opinion and I am not a good builder yet that is why I have this view.

Really good build. Especially the fact that there is an interior. Can't wait to see all 6 together.

Thanks for the review. The robot is the clear winner for me. I enjoyed building this set and the robot seems to be filled with character. I think it's the blue eye, he almost seems alive.

I'm pretty sure that if you posted pics of the figs you would get answers within a day. Most people here are very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

Really interesting, I like them. I imagine minifigures climbing all over it though.

I bought a random box once that smelt of old wet dog. Left it to air ot for a day or two then washed it. Good as newish second hand nibbled lego go.

This is so awesome.

Thanks for the info. It does make more sense now. I don't know if I would mix the same type on the same stalk. I did try putting these on the top of the traditional flower piece but am two minded about that still. However both work well as flowers on their own.
