Hi there,

This is my entry's progress. I decided to make a small scale machine with some details (hopefully). It has 153 parts so far. I am not happy with some parts and looks so its open to improvements :)

Features a differantial, 2 piston fake engine, that thing we always see behind a tractor (?) :), rotating handle bars.

Here is one example of a two wheel tractor that I am inspired from:

And here are some lame pictures of the progress :) :

That is all for now I guess.

I love it!

Very original and well executed.

I'm not entirely sure I'd want to be walking behind that thing - it'd put my feet too close to some nasty-looking whirling blades!

Nice rendering in LEGO though.

Just for that some models have rotating handle bars so you can drive the thing by the engine end :)

Oh. Right. I had wondered what "rotating handle bars" were!

I like it. Red, gray, blue is a great combination. Could use a bit more blue though - maybe you could use blue for the cover of the blades?

The functionality is also decent, it has engine plus differential, and the rolling blades. Is it possible to uncouple the blades from the wheels? DOes the real machine have that (I don't know).

Really the only minus I could think of is that kids might not know what this is, so it might not sell well as a set, but that's not really about the model itself, merely about the "spirit" of the competition.
