lego-maniac Posted April 10, 2013 (edited) Hi all For an upcoming moc, I need to create truck as small as possible. I've tried to build one in 1 stud width : Tiny Truc Test1 par oLaF-LM, sur Flickr But I've noticed that building other smaller details around this truck will be very difficult. So I've decided to try new version in 2 stud width ; here is the result : Orange Truck 2 stud width par oLaF-LM, sur Flickr Please notice that after posting them on flickr Pierre E Fieschi show me links to his beautiful work in those scale. Take a look at his galery, lots of incredivle creation from Pierre ;) EDIT April 12 : New attempt in 2 stud for a garbage truck : Garbage truck par oLaF-LM, sur Flickr EDIT April 13th Here is probably the last creation in 2 studs : a loader Probably less detailed (only 19 parts) but very smaller than the previous trucks Loader par oLaF-LM, sur Flickr Edited April 13, 2013 by lego-maniac
Aussie BJ Posted April 10, 2013 Awesome creations. I've never thought about anything below 4 studs. 2 wide does allow more details but that 1 stud is just cool! Will have to give it a go myself. Thanks for sharing.
PsyKater Posted April 10, 2013 Great tiny vehicles! They would fit to the Tower bridge pretty good I think.
Andy D Posted April 10, 2013 (edited) Your trucks are incredible! The amount of detail is amazing for such small creations. I did not think that level of detail was possible in such a small scale. I look forward to more. Andy D Edited April 10, 2013 by Andy D
LEGO Guy Bri Posted April 10, 2013 Very clever, much more detail! Great job
Kivi Posted April 10, 2013 It is really amazing how many details you managed to squeeze in such small creations. I like especially the exhaust pipes in 1-stud truck.
Bregir Posted April 10, 2013 I think both versions are very impressive! You have gotten a lot of details into a very small space - well done :)
Wedge09 Posted April 10, 2013 Really nice micro-trucks
theDeanoRama Posted April 11, 2013 The 1 stud would probably lend itself well to the micro modular scale, where as the 2 stud would probably fit right in with the mini modulars. Both of which are very creative
lego-maniac Posted April 11, 2013 thanks all for your comments, glad you like it. Hope the dio around those trucks will be appreciate but you'll have to wait ;)
TheLegoDr Posted April 11, 2013 Those are great additions to the micro scale community. I love that 2-wide truck. The 1-wide is brilliant, but I love the extra depth and detail on the 2-wide. I may have to attempt this scale. I love micro scale anymore. It is almost the only thing I build in these days. Keep up the great work
lego-maniac Posted April 12, 2013 Keep up the great work Really thanks, I've keep on and try a garbage truck : Garbage truck par oLaF-LM, sur Flickr hope you'll like it ! In my own, the color scheme is not very good at this time, I'll have to order some fun colors on BL
