What Lego is not as big here? (I always thought the people here were strange) lol

No, try being here. (the US) We are more often too embarassed to even mention that we (adults) like LEGO, or any toys for that matter. Americans can be very judgemental. Now, I would like to see more LEGO fan conventions around here besides the once a year event you might not even make it to.

It is strange to say that I still "play" with LEGO, a lot of people think that we just play with bricks,

and they don't see the fun of collecting it. When I'm at school, I can talk about Star Wars (everybody knows it), but I can't talk about LEGO.

There is a big difference between what we do and playing with toys.

This is true, people here (in the US) are quite judgmental. However, it also depends upon your friends. I'm lucky that I can be open about my SW Lego hobby (and collecting SW memorabilia in general). My wife and I recently bought a new house and during our housewarming party everyone wanted to see my Star Wars room. During the party I was surprised to find a few other friends were Lego collectors.

When we bought our house this year, the wives were going around the block showing their houses. All of them were quite impressed with my Lego Star Wars room, although I think their husbands think I'm a geek.....especially after parading around in my Darth Vader costume for Halloween. No worries, I enjoy my hobby. The looks on kids faces when they see models at Lego conventions is priceless.

Would any of you agree that Snow, Storm, Clone, Sand, and Rebel troopers along with the Senate commandos and Royal/Imperial guards should technically be called Republic Troopers because they all were once part of the republic. I'm just thinking out laud here
