  1. Hello everyone! I would like to apologize if it is not allowed to show our lego’s collection… it is considered as spam may be? Sorry in this case. It includes MOCs (LDD0xx), MODs (xxxx+LDD0xx), Lepin figures ("-F" from "false")... from all the episode films (I-IX), with referenced names from Wookieepedia (https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Main_Page). This videos had already existed, but today they have been updated because of the Chistmas adquisitions. The LDD files are available if someone wants any of them, feel free to improve them. I hope you like it!

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

Hi all, I figured that instead of hijacking everyone's threads with similar questions about modulars, to just create one thread where people can ask questions and the like. This way we are not junking up specific topics with questions about multiple modulars. I look forward to the discussion with everyone! ------------------------- :-: For Reference :-: We have had the following: Cafe Corner (CC) Market Street (MS) Green Grocer (GG) Fire Brigade (FB) Grand Emporium (GE) Pet Shop (PS) Town Hall (TH) Palace Cinema (PC) Parisian Restaurant (PR) Detectives Office (DO) Brick Bank (BB) Assembly Square (AS) Downtown Diner (DD) Corner Garage (CG) Bookshop (BS) Police Station (PS) Boutique Hotel (BH) Jazz Club (JC) Natural History Museum (NHM) The unique business's that have come out of those modulars are: Apartment (MS) Apartment (GG) Apartment (PR) Apartment (DO) Apartment (AS) Apartment (CG) Apartment (PS) Art Gallery (BH) Art Studio (PR) Bakery (MS) Bakery (AS) Bank (BB) Barbershop (DO) Book Store (BS) Cafe (CC) Cafe (AS) Dance Studio (AS) Dentist (AS) Department Store (GE) Detectives Office (DO) Diner (DD) Doughnut Shop (PS) Fire House (FB) Flower Shop (AS) Garage (CG) Gas Station (CG) Grocery Store (GG) Gym (DD) Hotel (CC) Hotel (BH) Jazz Club (JC) Laundromat (BB) Movie Theater (PC) Music Store (AS) Natural History Museum (NHM) Pet Store (PS) Photo Studio (AS) Pizzeria (JC) Police Station (PS) Pool Hall (DO) Recording Studio (DD) Restaurant (PR) Tailors Workshop (JC) Town Hall (TH) Town House (PS) Town House (BS) Veterinarian (CG)

    Shield Collection by Year

Edit: Show the most recent photo. Over the past 6 months I have been pulling all the shields I could find from my collection. I am 56 shields shy of having a complete collection. I have created a bricklink wanted list and am considering sourcing the remaing shields that are priced under $10 (all but one of them). I also need to source some more number tiles. The black 2x2 radar dish and the black 3x3 disk pieces are placeholders for missing shields. The black 1x1 round plates are placeholders for missing number tiles. Details of each shield can be seen here: https://followsclosely.github.io/shields/, the site has the same layout as the above image. Use the toggles on the top to show/hide and to break on year.
  4. Hey there! I'm in the middle of working on a large project for school - one where we're almost completely free to do whatever we want for it. I've chosen to develop an all-encompassing and ideal design for animal-, UV- and dust-protected customisable and situation-adjustable LEGO collection shelves for optimal displaying of sets and models in an aesthetically pleasing and space-efficient way. I'd certainly appreciate it if you took the time to fill it out for me, as I'll need data from the target audience in order to make and refine the best possible design for everybody. https://forms.office.com/r/Lur7XaqnhE (If some of the wording doesn't seem right in this, please note that this is just a copy-pasted message that hasn't been context-adjusted.) (Side note: the project is merely to develop the design, and no shelves are actually being sold here.)
  5. I was just on the 'Everything we know so far' page for 2021, which I check regularly, and realised that despite I having known about both these sets for at least a month, I've seen almost no discussion of them Eurobricks. If there has been, can a mod please merge or delete this post. Just for the details: 10280 Flower Bouquet 756 pieces US$49.99 / EUR49.99 / £44.99 10281 Bonsai 878 pieces US$49.99 / EUR49.99 / £44.99 These are the first two unbranded small 18+ sets. The PPP seems pretty good. 10281 is listed on Brickset now, but with no info. 10280 is not. Interestingly, 10281 has been put under 'Sculptures' - the fourth in this category, after Statue of Liberty, LEGO Minifigure, and LEGO Dragon (all released 20 years previously). Both sets are scheduled for release January 2021. A leaked image of the Bonsai was posted on Instagram today, probably resulting in Brickset adding it to their inventory. What do you think of these sets? Is the small size a good thing? Do you see many more being released in the future? If so, what? Discuss below.

    [Freebuild] The Museum Thief

Built for Brickscalibur ("Where's Waldo?" category). The infamous thief Odlaw thought this would be an easy job. Break into Baron Ruprecht's private collection, take as much as he could carry, and leave as quickly as possible. Suddenly he heard the footsteps of an approaching guard. Panicking, he searched for a hiding place somewhere in the collection. Can you find Odlaw? Hint: look for the eyes...
  7. I recently learned that in the general figure collecting world, it is well-known that most plastic bags are bad choices for long-term storage of figures. What happens is a lot of plastic bags, especially the ones for food, are not designed for long-term storage. A lot of them contain acids. In time, entropy does its job, and the plastic decomposes, releasing fumes. In sealed bags, this can cause damage to figures. Now, I've heard a solution is to poke holes in the bag to allow the figure to be ventilated, but I find this to be useless, since I am also trying to protect my minifigs against humidity and mold. It seems that the safest way is to get polypropylene bags, which are designed specifically for collectibles and are the ones used in bags for comic books. I found that info here: http://www.mhtoyshop.com/storing-your-loose-action-figures/ My question is, does anyone know if Lego figures are as susceptible to this kind of damage as regular figures? If that is the case, I have hundreds of little baggies to replace...
  8. The recent discussion of scale (Ideas Blacksmith vs. most other sets) got me thinking. It had never occurred to me that sets being built at different scales would be an issue. Ideas is usually higher detailed and larger scale, and that's what I wanted out of that set. It being in a different scale always seemed like a bonus to me, rather than a problem. It sits on its own shelf, so that didn't bother me. So, scale inspiration aside, I wondered how other folks display their collections. I've recently moved to a new house, and set up my home office with some new features, so I thought I'd post some pics. Since we were remodeling the house anyway, and this room had some pretty substantial crown molding, I had some acrylic shelves made and installed RGB LED lights behind them so they'd light up the acrylic. EDIT: I just noticed how apparent it is that I've got one major hole in the shelving, and you can guess what's going to go there. Office 1 Office 7 Office 6 Office 3 How about y'all? How do you display your castles when you're not building?
  9. I’ve been collecting Lego since I was a child and I have a ridiculously large collection, 90% is built or deconstructed and stored in labelled bags per set. i’m getting to a point where I need to stop buying Lego or move to a bigger place as there is just so much, what would the community do, sell it off individually (taking the rest of time) or look to sell as a large lot? are there even places that would buy such a large collection and where is the best place to advertise/sell if I go down that route?

    M-Tron - The Entire Collection

Bit of backstory: When I was just a kid (born in 81) - my first major Lego Sets after the little airport and space base - I saw these sets and went wacko. Begged and pleaded for each-and-every set. Somehow - some way I managed to keep them intact and together over the years. Due to various issues I was unable to do much due to living situation - then that changed thanks to a good job and pulling out of debt. I've since become a Star Wars fanatic and started collecting UCS sets - but Mtron always held a very special place in my heart. My first major collection. I intend to keep it that way. I found that I was a little hard on my lego's so I had to recover/replace some parts - and missing 1 manual - 250 USD later and some patient waiting on Ebay - I can finally say I have the entire collection. I also discovered that there was a bonus set that I had missed that required 3 of the models to make this one - hence the 200 bucks or so - I bought the 3 extra duplicates of my collection to make that one special bonus. And here they are all on display. Notes: What you see is the following sets: 1478 - Mobile Satellite Up-Link 6811 - Pulsar Charger 6833 - Beacon Tracer 6877 - Vector Detector 6896 - Celestial Forager 6923 - Particle Ionizer 6956 - Stellar Recon Voyager 6989 - Mega Core Magnetizer 6862 - Secret Space Voyager (bonus "super" set - 6877, 6896 and 6923 required/used) 6704 - Extra figure Somewhere in there I may or may not have modded a couple sets for the extra parts left over from the super set - and took some creative licensing (all extra parts) 6710 - Blacktron Space Landing Plates - 3 sets of them 6971 - 2 Space "Lunar plates" from my old yet horribly broken set (I regret this) I have all manuals - no parts missing - I only lack original boxes - back in the day those where original paper - no cardboard - I regret that - but at least this survived. Now If only I could figure out what this entire collection is worth? I'm also inclined to find a MOC MTron Base for my collection. - In any case - may you enjoy and share the memories of the epic 90's. I decided to make a little themed "mining operation" showing off my collection - bought a whole pile of neon green studs due to shipping restrictions - cause why not. Yes you may or may not spot the Ice Planet models in the background - don't mind them :) Trivia Fact: This was the first time they introduced magnets into Space Legos I hope there are still some die hard MTron fans out there - love to hear from you! Enjoy. :)
  11. I'm missing a place where Powered Up code can be gathered and explained so other guys can reuse it or find inspiration. I had a discussion with @Jim how that could work out in this forum. I was thinking about having something like the hall of fame for code which underwent optimizations in a dedicated thread and which was proven to work. But this might lead to several thread which are prone to be inactive. So we decided to start with a single thread to publish PU code and discuss it. If it gets to chaotic We could have two separate thread. One for discussion and help request and the other one for working and optimized code. To keep things orderly, a general structure might be helpful. So here we start with my proposal. TL;DR: Automatic brake lights based on speed reduction Description: The following code switches brakes lights on in case the speed is reduced. That works for reducing speed while driving forward and backward. When the speed reaches 0, the light are turned off. In this code I'm using PF lights controlled by the Boost color and distance sensor. But that can be replaced with PU lights. Code: Video Declaration of variables: a - Used to control the speed, is set by the slider 0 b - Speed (a) at the first point in time c - Speed (a) at the second point in time d - Speed difference between b and c Detailed walkthrough: The code block consists of three rows. The first row consists of a loop (left) and the code block to control the speed of the motor (right). Most of the code blocks in the loop are not needed. You actually just need the first block which sets constantly a value for the variable a to control the speed. The rest are widgets for testing timings. The second row is the logic to detect speed differences. To do that constantly, a loop is used again. It simply reads a, the speed at different times. You can adjust the time between the measurments according to your needs. In my case 0,08s worked well. At the end of the loop the difference is set to the variable d. The value can be something between 100 and -100. The third loop at the bottom contains the logic to turn the brake lights on or off. You will also notice the purple blocks. They are used to control the PF lights. I'll come to that in a bit. First i want to explain the logic to turn the lights off an on. There are three scenarios: Driving forwards Driving backwards Parking When you are driving forward the max value of a is 100. Lets say the speed is suddenly reduced to 50. The difference is 50. When you are driving backwards the max value for a is -100. The speed is again reduced by 50. The difference is -50. When you are parking the difference is of course 0, because it doesn't change. So i have two condition i want to check for: Am I driving backwards or forwards? Is there a speed difference? I can exclude the third check, parking, by checking values for a that are greater or smaller than 0. So, in one sentence: IF there is a speed difference AND the speed is GREATER THAN 0 OR IF there is a speed difference AND the speed is SMALLER THAN 0 then turn on the light (upper purple block at the end). But how to control PF lights with Powered UP??? That is covered for example by @kbalage here. The first purple code block on the left sets the port and the correct mode for the boost sensor. The two purple code blocks on the right side control the brightness of the PF lights. D is the port where the sensor is connected to, 3 is the channel 4 on the PF IR receiver, 5 is the red or blue port on the IR receiver, 7 switches the light to max brightness, 8 turns it off.

  13. This is an attempt to start collecting gearbox designs in a single thread. To get started, feel free to add existing gearboxes, but please always add a reference to the original designer. Also be sure to add some information on designer motorized or manual sequential or direct special features like paddle shifters and number of gears, e.g. 5+R. That will also help me in making an index in the OP. Or even better, if it can not be classified along these lines from the entry here, I will not add it to the index. Thanks!

  15. Hi. I'm a Lego Technic MOC builder but when I got into Lego years ago I have got a lot of sets and made some... interesting MOCs. I'm considering to change up my display setup to make it look better, and I thought asking for advice and suggestions would be a great idea. Here's the collection as of now: The left shelf has my MOCs and the right shelf has sets and space MOCs. (The posters above are going to be removed) Left Shelf On the top of the left shelf are cars I made over 3 years ago. They're not pretty, and I probably won't be taking them apart for new builds since I'm giving my full time to Technic. On the middle of the shelf is some custom Bionicle figures I made as part of a weird story I made on the now defunct Lego.com gallery. On the bottom of the shelf is a... quirky house with a living room, kitchen, closet, bathroom, and bedroom that I made probably four years ago, broke, and rebuilt. It serves no use and its use as a display piece is kind of worthless, but it's one of the biggest things I built at the time. The playground on the middle shelf used to be connected to the right of the house. It hurts to remember having it on my dresser not playing with it because the house wasn't pretty. I should rebuild the house into something new but I'm keeping it as a memory and since all the pieces are a different color and I have no idea what to build. MineCraft Display A ton of MineCraft sets I got to connect to each other and make a cool display. Unfortunately I ignore it often and never got to my plans to put a MineCraft wallpaper up to make it look like a set box, but I'd like to. Right Shelf Just built sets and space MOCs I made forever ago. Top Shelf I expanded the shelf above by placing two poster frames and holding them up with a bar mounted in the wall, making it easy for removal and since I don't want to use a permanent structure. I like it but it's impossible to see items placed all the way back, so I don't know if I want to keep it or not. Here's the bar it was on... And here's the shelf I put the boards on top of. A lot of the items on the shelves are builds I don't have as much interest in as the large Creator cars I want to display here so I'm open for ideas. If this was your space to display your Lego collection, what would you do? How would you display creations you like and the ones that are not as interesting?

    My LEGO Star Wars Collection

Hi LEGO fans!! I'm making this thread to keep all my LEGO Star Wars Speed Build posts together. I don't want to keep adding more and more threads and swamping the forum. If you like what I do, you can always check it out in this thread as I post my videos here. Also, you can check everything out on YouTube by searching for me - little brix. As I'm still new to YouTube and the LEGO community, I really appreciate every view, comment, like and subscription. At the point of posting I've had 99 subscribers since and over 1000 views since starting at the beginning of January!!! Thanks in advance to all who watch. Can anyone tell me how they made their Eurobricks profile photo and got the file size to be so small? I can't compress my logo enough!
  17. Hello Community, I would like to say hello ... I read this site over a year now and before I post something, I should introduce myself ... Well, I am made in Germany, my age is something about 50+ years and I am interested in Lego Star-Wars models. Here are some pictures of my Star-Wars spaceship interpretations (MOD) ... Thank you very much and best regards Miller LEGO Star-Wars Set Fury- Class Interceptor 9500: Link to the picture (^) Link to the picture (^) Link to the picture (^) Link to the picture (^) .
  18. Hi, today I'm going to re introduce you to the LEGO Lord of the Rings characters in their glory days. They started to emerge in 2012 and five years later, I hope they are still remembered. Let's get started. The Fellowship of the Ring. 1. Gandalf the Grey (Mithrandir). Gandalf is the wizard in the fellowship with his classic pointy hat here. He is carrying a brown bar as his staff and a sling bag full of weeds I suppose. He has a crisp grey cape but no alternate face in this variant. This is a quite common minifigure and he appeared in 9469 Gandalf Arrives for Lord of the Rings theme and three more sets in Hobbit theme 79003 An Unexpected Gathering, 30213 Gandalf at Dol Guldur polybag, and 79010 The Goblin King Battle. This is another variant of Mithrandir with grey hair and cape. The difference from the first one is that he has his hair to cover the alternate angry face (pointy hat doesn't). This Gandalf is quite needed as you have to get his battle face. Anyhow he is quite easy to find in a small set 79005. He appeared in two sets in The Lord of the RIngs theme and one set in The Hobbit theme. The one without cape was in 79005 The Wizard Battle and the one with cape was in 10237 The Tower of Orthanc and 79014 Dol Guldur Battle. 2. Frodo Baggins. Ring bearer. Frodo has three variants but only two was shown here as I lost the third one. The three variant shared the same hairpiece, same rumpled jacket with red vest torso and same short brown legs. The differences are the capes and the facial expressions. The Frodo in 79006 The Council of Elrond has a worried and angry face headpiece without cape, this is the one not shown in picture which I've lost. The other two shared the same worried and poisoned facial expression but different cape. The one with dark green cape is from 9472 Attack on Weather Top where he was stabbed by Ringwraith with a Morgul Shaft. The other one with Grey Cape is from 9470 Shelob Attacks where he was poisoned by the giant spider. All of them came with the Sting and the Great One Ring. Three of them representing Frodo from different scene after the Fellowship started their journey. Its very nice that LEGO actually made a new mold for the Sting rather than using the standard sword for him. 3. Samwise Gamgee. Samwise the brave. I want to hear more about him. He is Mr Frodo's Gardener and being punished to follow Frodo with his quest for eavesdropping Gandalf and Frodo's conversation about the ring. Sam was the youngest son of Hamfast and Bell Gamgee, and had many brothers and sisters. He lived with his father, Hamfast Gamgee, known as "The Gaffer", on Bagshot Row in the Shire, close to Bag End. Sam's mother was Bell Goodchild. He had five siblings: Hamson, Halfred, Daisy, May, and Marigold. After Shelob attacked and seemingly killed Frodo, Sam took the Ring, confronted Shelob with the Phial of Galadriel, intending to complete the quest on his own. For this minifigure, he ONLY appeared exclusively in 9470 Shelob Attacks together with Frodo and Gollum. He had a grey cape similar to Frodo's, and wearing a dark tan outfit. Accessory wise he is holding a typical LEGO sword and a diamond as the Phial of Galadriel. He had two expressions. Frowny face and scared face when fighting Shelob to save Frodo. 4. Meriadoc Brandybuck. Meriadoc is also known as Merry in the movie. He was the only child of Saradoc Brandybuck, Master of Buckland, and Esmeralda Took, the younger sister of Paladin Took II, making him first cousin to Paladin's son Pippin, who was clearly his closest friend. Both of them always appeared together in the movie until they are separated after Pippin followed Gandalf the White to Gondor. Here he appeared also exclusively in set 9472 Attack on Weathertop. He has dark orange hair and wearing a dark green coat with yellow vest. His facial expression with a smirking pattern is very special in LEGO and the other expression was a shouting face. He is equipped with a standard sword and short brown legs. 5. Peregrin Took. 'Fool of a Took!' yelled Gandalf after he did something stupid that would bring danger to the company or the quest. In the movie he is well known as Pippin. Pippin was born to Paladin Took II and Eglantine Banks. He was the youngest of four children and had three older sisters, Pearl, Pimpernel, and Pervinca. His father's sister, Esmeralda Took, was the mother of Meriadoc Brandybuck, thus making Pippin and Merry first cousins. Here in LEGO, he exclusively appeared in 9473 The Mines of Moria to perform the act of summoning the cave troll and orcs to the company. He was in his dark blue coat, with his dark tan scarf, holding a standard sword. He has two expressions which were the anxious looking face and the scared face. I supposed that he ought to be scared of Gandalf after what his curiosity did to the Fellowship. Orcs! Some group photos that you can do for the Hobbits. Have you noticed the difference in the hair colors? Go away you evil wraith! I really like the color of their shirts. Alright let's proceed to others. 6. Aragorn. Aragorn II, the son of Arathorn II and Gilraen, also known as Elessar as well as Strider. He was later crowned King Elessar Telcontar and first High King of Gondor and Arnor, since the short reign of Isildur. He was a great warrior and a great lover for Arwen, and as the heir of Isildur bore the shards of Narsil, reforged and renamed Andúril. He appeared in three sets in this brown outfit which makes him quite commonly found. The three sets are 9472 Attack on Weathertop, 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep, and 79008 Pirate Ship Ambush. In these sets, Aragorn was yet to have the Anduril as his weapon but I am happy to assume that long sword that he is holding is the legendary Elven forged sword. The torch is for him to burn off the ringwraiths that attacked the Hobbits at the Weathertop. 7. Boromir. He is the eldest son of Denethor II, who was Steward of Gondor during the War of the Ring, and his wife Finduilas. He is the older brother of Faramir. He is wearing a blue outfit with a belt just like in the movie but printing a Gondorian horn at the back of the torso would be a nice addition to this very nice minifigure. He came with a long sword and a special shield designed just for him. Boromir actually set out from Minas Tirith to Rivendell by order of his father, Denethor to decipher a riddle that was given to him and his brother in their dreams. Seek for the Sword that was broken, In Imladris it dwells, There shall be counsels taken, Stronger than Morgul-spells. There shall be shown a token, That Doom is near at hand, For Isildur's Bane shall waken, And the Halfling forth shall stand. Then only he joined the Fellowship in the Council of Elrond. He appeared exclusively in set 9473 The Mines of Moria. A little scene with his killer Uruk Hai. 8. Legolas Greenleaf. Laiqalassë, is actually his name when he is in Tol Eressëa ages after he left Thranduil at the end of 'The battle of the Five Armies'. Legolas was a Sindarin elf who was part of the Fellowship of the Ring in the Third Age. and the son of the Elvenking Thranduil of Mirkwood. He then gave his bow to Frodo, pledged to the protection of the Ring Bearer in the Council of Elrond. He appeared in two sets, 79008 Pirate Ship Ambush and 9473 The Mines of Moria. In recent year (2015) he reappeared in LEGO Dimension set 71219 with new clenched teeth expression. He is wearing an olive green outfit which is the same in the movie, with all the Elven curves at the torso. I like it that the print that extended to the legs actually made him looks taller. The Elvish hair is also very nicely carved but it was too big and blocking his head to be fixed to look at the center. He also comes with alternate angry face. 9. Gimli. Son of Gloin. Gimli was the son of Glóin and a nephew of Óin, both former companions of Bilbo Baggins. He was a remote descendant of Durin the Deathless, father of the first house of dwarven people. Gimli stemmed from, but was not an inheritor of, the royal line. Through his father, Gimli was also the first cousin once removed (or "nephew", for simplicity's sake) of Balin, Lord of Moria, and his brother Dwalin, two more former companions of Bilbo. It is also stated in the Unfinished Tales that Gimli was prevented from traveling with his father on The Quest of Erebor because Thorin and company thought him too young, though Gimli, being in his sixties, considered himself ripe for adventure and was disappointed to be left behind. He is a great minifigure despite being common. He is holding a big and a small axe which makes him not so stable but luckily the long bar can act as a stick to make him stand. The beard mold was very detailed but it covers all of his torso, so i took it out to see clearer. The logo of the belt resembles the shape of an axe. Without the manly beard now he looks like a boy. He has an alternate angry face. Hmm the angry face was kind of unnoticeable due to the large beard and helmet. He appeared in four sets, 9473 The Mines of Moria, 9474 The Battle of Helm's Deep, 79006 The Council of Elrond, and 79008 Pirate Ship Ambush. Similar to Legolas, he then reappeared in 71220 LEGO Dimension set with new headpiece. 10. Gollum, or Smeagol. Gollum, originally known as Sméagol, was at first a Stoor, one of the three early Hobbit-types. The name Gollum was derived from the sound of his disgusting gurgling, choking cough. To include him as in the Fellowship of the Ring, he met and followed the company in search of his lost Precious, the One Ring that corrupted him for almost four hundred years in the Misty Mountains, eating raw fishes on his small boat. He grabbed the ring from his cousin Deagol as his birthday present and killed him after he refused to give. He then met Frodo and Sam again when they parted at Amon Hen, being their tour guide to Mordor with his wicked plan to bring them to the giant spider, Shelob. He exclusively appeared in the set 9470 Shelob Attacks. This one is the Wide eyes variant 'equipped' with a juicy fish. There is another variant with narrow eyes which appeared in 79000 Riddles of the Ring and 71218 LEGO Dimension Fun Pack. I am very happy to have them in my display and please share your thoughts regarding this review and the collection of the Fellowship. Thanks for reading and I'm happy to prepare for next series of collection in this theme.
  19. Do you collect LEGO Star Wars sets and minifigures? Are you a Star Wars army builder? Do you need some Star Wars gifts for the holiday season? ...well, keep reading! After many years of collecting, I have amassed an extraneous collection of Star Wars LEGO builds and minifigures. When I was younger, I had some friends that collected Star Wars sets and minifigures, so I got into it with them and sort of kept it up through college. I really do not have much LEGO time anymore and my LEGO-related interest is in building MOCs mostly in the Castle theme, so this Star Wars collection is for sale. Available are three groups: PREQUELS: Episodes I, II, III (Group Price = $3000, includes builds and minifigures) TRILOGY: Episodes IV, V, VI (Group Price = $2000, includes builds and minifigures) CLONEWARS: Clone Wars (Group Price = $1000, includes builds and minifigures) All currency is in USD or United States Dollars Shipping to continental USA will be free. I would prefer not to ship this order internationally, but I may be willing to consider it at buyer's cost. This image is the first landing image in the album. I have a set list on Rebrickable that covers most of this, though please keep in mind that it is not as good a reference as the pictures. There also may be some items on the Rebrickable list that are not included in the sale, as there are a few sets I plan to keep that are Star Wars related. At the time of this posting, Rebrickable values this collection around $7500 for a very loose reference. The pictures in this Flickr album cover everything offered. They are titled based on the group they fall under. All picture titles starting with "123" are in group PREQUELS All picture titles starting with "456" are in group TRILOGY All picture titles starting with "CW" are in group CLONEWARS Pictures are in a specific order, with an overall group photo of builds or minifigures followed by detail photos where needed. Builds are shown first for each group (no minifigures included in these pictures), and minifigures for each group come after the builds. Many of the instruction booklets will be included, though they are not pictured. If you want to know specifically about the availability and condition of instruction booklets, please ask in a PM. I also have quite a few boxes for these sets, though not nearly all of them. These will be included for their respective sets. Parts and minifigures will be shipped packed in the boxes to save on shipping space. If you want to know about the availability and condition of boxes, again please ask in a PM. The descriptions should be fairly distinct about condition, though I can safely say that these are all in excellent condition or good used condition. All old, marred, nicked, bitten, discolored, etc. parts have been removed (except the cracked slave Leia torso...). Some of the older parts were played with, but most of this entire lot is an adult collection that has been built, disassembled, and stored. Some parts and minifigures are from Bricklink/eBay purchases, but I have verified that all parts are in excellent/good condition. Please note that I took these pictures in May of 2016 with the intent to try to sell then. Life got busy, and I never posted the lot for sale. Since then, The Star Wars collection has been stored in plastic tubs in my basement in the same area as the rest of my LEGO collection. Please send me a PM with any questions/interest. Feel free to make any requests, though I really would rather sell these lots complete rather than parted down. If we work out a sale, I will send a money request through Paypal with the order total. I will NOT accept payment as a gift or money to family to avoid the Paypal fee. To make it simple for the buyer, I will pay the Paypal fee from the amount I receive rather than increasing the total on your end. I am on the Eurobricks' Straight Shooters list through a few small deals and trades, though this is really a leap of trust to verify a sale of this magnitude. If interested, I could make this a superlot for sale through Bricklink, but BL will charge an additional fee for the sale, so the price would be higher. Bonus offers: Total discount of $500 on any 2 Groups (PREQUELS and TRILOGY = $4500, PREQUELS and CLONEWARS = $3500, TRILOGY and CLONEWARS = $2500) Total discount of $1000 on all 3 Groups (PREQUELS and TRILOGY and CLONEWARS = $5000) Extra pieces, incomplete sets, and minifigure parts will be included if buying all 3 Groups (PREQUELS and TRILOGY and CLONEWARS = $5000) If you would like to make offers, reasonable offers may be considered, though I reserve the right to deny any offer for any reason. Please be reasonable and respectful with any offers (well, really with any communication, please). Now, the overall pictures: PREQUEL: TRILOGY: CLONEWARS: Thanks and have a great day, Slegengr
  20. Hi, I'm looking for optimal storage of my Lego brick collection. It is about 40'000 bricks, less than 1'200 different parts, mostly from Creator Expert, Architecture and Technic sets. At the moment most sets are built up, but I'm looking to disassemble most and store the sets, sorted by part (but not color). I would like to estimate the volume per brick type. Does anyone in this forum know of list of volume/size of the bricks by design/part? Also if anyone knows of proper values of the bulk density of of the most common types of bricks, plates and tiles, please post. While were at it, does anyone know of a list with weight per brick? Thanks! Donald

    Lego board games

So I wasn't sure where to put this, but this is a thread to talk about lego board games: your board game MOCs, whether lego will ever make any more, your collection, reviews, anything! My favourite lego board game is Lego Champion (it's got so many little sub-themes! ) or Pirate Code (I like the skill and well, pirates. )

    Track my collection

Hello there! Is there any concensus about what to use when tracking ones LEGO collection on the web: Is it rebrickable.com or brickset.com? Or maybe another website? I have a medium mixed collection, lots of sets, some with missing parts which I would need to take note of, as well as lots of single bricks / plates / whatever. I'd love to hear your input on what you think would be the best tool for the job. Thanks & Regards, Chris
  25. Whenever people see my collection they always comment on how large it is (even though I'll usually only have about 5% on display at any time due to space) and I'll usually correct them by saying that it's small compared to some people's. I have (as of right now) 466 sets and including lose pieces approximately 120,000 parts. I'd consider my collection to be small. I was just wondering what other people would consider to be a "large" collection?
