jalemac34 Posted November 26, 2017 Hi everybody, This is my last creation. I made a butchery on the left side of the building, with a cold room at the back. A duplex on the top. For the right side there is a market gardener and a lawyer office . supertruper1988 Posted November 26, 2017 This is awesome! I love the clam toilet, great part usage.
ColletArrow Posted November 26, 2017 Very nice! I like the colours used; it gives consistency within each building, but an overall variety. Although I wouldn't trust those spiral stair-cases! Is the space under the set of stairs leading to the lawyers office used, or left empty? If it's empty, I feel something else could have been put under there; even if just an extra cupboard or something.
koalayummies Posted November 26, 2017 Jalemac34 wows again! Another beautiful modular. Wonderful and innovative designs and parts usage. Love the Earth Blue, use of the lion head pieces and artwork to fill the walls and make it more lively. The butcher and apartment bathroom are especially exceptional. Fantastic MOC! beverly888 Posted November 27, 2017 Excellent details throughout each building, especially the original artwork and floor tiling. Cheers! Beverly
Wesley D Posted November 27, 2017 Interesting to see you started with the ground floor of the side building of Market Street! I think you made it so much more valuable and much nicer to see! The earth blue looks great next to the brick yellow and the gold elements you threw in finish it nicely! The interiors are well done! Would it be possible to add more steps to the stairs? peedeejay Posted November 27, 2017 Cool! Lots of details inside and outside and everything on a mere 32 baseplate.
Redhead1982 Posted November 27, 2017 (edited) Honestly, I'm not a fan of the exterior. There seems to be too many details without any order or reason. I'd prefer a facade with less detailing, perhaps the middle section could be more plain than the other two. Also I don't like windows of different colors on the same building. Although I like parts of the facade, the front mid-dark blue floors, and the back mid-tan floors. Nevertheless, I'm much more impressed by the interiors. The furniture is well designed, art on the walls is a great detail. My favourite is the ''shell'' toilet - very creative part use. The spiral staircase is a bit odd. Adding few more steps to it would be much safer. The gap between steps is too big, perhaps adding few 2x4 tiles would help. MrBrickMan Posted November 27, 2017 Stunning. I bet after a hot shower, that toilet is a bit ...clammy
Agent 86 Posted November 28, 2017 Very nice. I think the multiple elements - open street market / florist, butcher, lawyer's office and apartment work well together. Much better in the Detective's Office. I do feel for the first floor lawyer who is trapped behind her desk. And I'm not a huge fan of the open air toilet in the apartment, especially since it's so close to the staircase!
Littleworlds Posted November 29, 2017 Looks good. Really lovely interior detailing. Though having a butcher and a lawyer is a bit redundant!
gotoAndLego Posted December 1, 2017 Looks really good. I think you should close up the 1 plate gaps created by the removable floors on the white lion side.
TheLegoDr Posted December 1, 2017 Some interesting ideas here. I actually prefer the rear facade better than the front. I think the gold works well with the dark blue and I would add the flowerbed to the rear and switch it around. I'm not sure why, but it doesn't seem as cohesive on the front. The interiors do shine overall. I'm like others with the stairs being a problem. I don't like how the lawyer is trapped. And I don't like how the front door opens up to the stairs. I think there should be something separating the main door to the actual law office. This doesn't seem too private. I will agree the toilet is weird being open next to the stairs, but I guess if you live alone it might not be a problem. Keep up the good work.
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted December 3, 2017 Gorgeous MOC! The butcher shop looks amazing ...I miss such a thing in my collection! I like also the details of the wall (made with tiles) and the bed (with the bank arch window)
