  1. Hello, and welcome to the Royal Nest! A new castle for the new griffin faction which was designed for Bricklink Designer Program Series 9. You can support my submissions by voting and commenting: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-9/main.page?s=tlg The round bastions, the decorated main gate, Gothic windows, the yellow half-timbered house, the plants, and many other details make this castle a worthy home for the king of the griffin faction. It can be displayed either closed or in multiple open formats, and in the open configurations, the interior becomes accessible. It includes a throne room, the king's bedroom, an attic with a treasure chest, a dining hall, a kitchen with a masonry oven, a blacksmith's forge with an anvil, a prison in the basement, and servants' quarters. All the doors are functional. The set includes 8 minifigures and some animals including one horse which provide many playability options. Dimensions of the castle (closed): Width: 51.2 studs / 16.1 in / 40.9 cm Length: 51.9 studs / 16.4 in / 41.5 cm Height: 55.2 studs / 17.4 in / 44.1 cm I hope you enjoy this set. Many thanks for your support and feedback! Thanks for visiting, _TLG_

  4. Hello Lego Castle and Medieval fans, Welcome to the Castle of the Red Mountain Kingdom! It is my second entry to Bricklink designer Program Series 7 and it can be supported by voting and commenting: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-7/2644/Red-Mountain-Kingdom's-Castle It includes many details such as Gothic and Romanesque windows, round texturized bastions, flags, coat or arms, a brick built gate, plants and brick built trees. The building is foldable and in the opened version the rooms and halls are visible. There is a throne hall, the king's bedroom with a treasure chest, a dining hall, a kitchen with a masonry oven, a blacksmith's forge with an anvil, a prison in the basement, servants' quarters. All doors work. The set includes 11 minifigures (including the statue) and some animals which provide many playability options. Dimensions of the castle (closed): Width: 56.4 studs / 17.7 in / 45.1 cm Length: 39.5 studs / 12.5 in / 31.6 cm Height: 76.4 studs / 24.1 in / 61.1 cm I love castles as well and therefore I decided to design one for the Bricklink Designer Program series 7. It is not actually based on a real building, but was inspired by some famous castles and it is a bit smaller, but more detailed version of my earlier King's Castle. I hope you enjoy this set. Many thanks for your support and feedback! Thank for visiting, _TLG_
  5. * * * The kingdom had long awaited the king’s return. As he rode through the gates, the people cheered, their hope rekindled. * * * Hello castle fans, The King's Castle was my entry to Bricklink Designer Program Series 5. I have received many kind comments and support, but unfortunately it has not been selected, therefore I decided to make the instructions available here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-193221/_TLG_/kings-castle-the-king-returns It includes many details such as flags, coat or arms, arcades, a brick built gate, plants and even a brick built tree. The building is foldable and in the opened version the rooms and halls are visible. There is a throne hall, a dining hall with a statue, a basement, a kitchen with a masonry oven. All doors work and some walls of the tower house are openable as well to make accessible the king's bedroom, the staircase with the treasure chest and the prison. The set includes 11 minifigures (including the statue) and some animals which provide many playability options. It is built from almost 4000 bricks to make it large and detailed. Unfortunately some parts were not available in the palette (including a minifigure king crown or a saddle), but I am still really satisfied with the result. I hope you enjoy the castle. 6. Hello everyone ! I am happy to finally present my first project to you. The King's Citadel. I fell in love with set 10305, the castle of the lion knights and I wanted to design a construction that could be based around this set. A citadel is the place where the king lives and governs in his throne room. It is an iconic place where a thousand stories can be told. Perfect starting concept for carrying out a construction. I will share the photos with you, do not hesitate to give me your opinions and if you find that this is worthy of your support, here is the link to the Ideas platform : https://ideas.lego.com/projects/5ad9e5a7-cc11-470a-9606-312c00251286 Overview : The fountain can serve as a decorative element in its own right: The building opens in two: Inside : Some parts are removable to allow better playability: The heart of the citadel “The Throne Room” : The dovecote: Secret access offering a passage to the outside: In the apartments armor is stored: An idea of what it can look like as a decorative element: There you go, I think that with these photos you will have a fairly clear idea of the project. I hope you like it, it's my first MOC, I started from scratch and I put all my passion into it. (this is the 1st of 5 projects that I will not fail to present to you ) Thank you for your interest.
  7. (Afoland Castle Game. Meronia) For a couple of weeks, King Edric had not seen his archmage, Odrimorn. He decided to visit him in the tower and find out what caused his absence. Entering the wizard's room, the king found Odrimorn, who was fumbling in the notes and muttering something. He kept talking about something inevitable, not paying attention to the king. Edric went up to him, touched him by the shoulders and asked why his old friend was so worried. Odrimorn came to his senses and told the king about his fears. All these days he has been haunted by disturbing dreams in which the lands of Meronia are in danger. Unfortunately, the source of the threat is not visible and there are no leads. Various spells and ancient scrolls also did not help shed light on the threat. One thing is clear - these are not just dreams, but something really is coming. We need to prepare... At the end, Odrimorn added: “You know who we need!
  8. Prince John Sits inside his lonely castle with everything he could possibly want. Money, Power, Land, Loyal Servants. But he is unsatisfied, craving only the death of the bandit Robin Hood. Meanwhile Robin Hood is enjoying a party with all his friends. He is an outlaw who owns nothing but the clothes on his back and his trusty bow. He gives away all the money he ever gets. And today he is happy, dancing with his one true love Maid Marion while all his friends dance play and sing around him. My goodness this took forever to edit. Stupid Leaves. Built for the "Light & Shadow" Category for the 2023 Summer Joust. Hopefully this is the right forum, it could also belong in licensed themes, but I figured it was a better fit here. I did enter it in the Summer Joust after all.
  9. A new LEGO custom minifigure that I have included into my collection. I am glad to show you the Kaligula. Kaligula was the Governor of one of the Northern Lands. He did not bring anything good to his lands during his reign that was cruel – reprisals, vice and immorality. He wrote himself into the bloodiest pages of the Lego Custom Undead World. Dark Forces quickly noticed a Tyrant carried away by Dark Magic and lured him to the Dark Side. Kaligula accepted the primacy of Darkness, quickly and brutally cracked down on the new ruler who took his place and continued his atrocities in his native lands in the form of the Terrible Dark Magician. No one else wanted to fight for power any more because he knew that he would be instantly destroyed by Kaligula who fiercely did not tolerate any rivals and always crack down on with them quickly and brutally, only feeling a threat to himself. The lands lost their Governor and faith in a bright future for a long time. Kaligula became a shadow overseer of his lands and the Army of Darkness got into its ranks another strong Magician controlling the part of the territory of the Kingdom. Kaligula custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides – Here. My latest customs on Eurobricks: Dark Wizard (Mage of the Army of Darkness) Ragmar, Elder Witch (also known as Mad Princess) Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure (Lego Scary Movie) Two Headed Ogre Cho'gall Warcraft Baba Yaga Custom Lego Minifigure (Russian Folk Tales) Soul Taker
  10. The Queen celebrates her birthday on the 25th of December, many guest come to celebrate with her, even the dwarven king of Tondelheim. On this bright moonlit night, many festivities are planned, however the queen isn't very impressed by the jester. Visit the Queen by moonlight by Ids, on Flickr For a better view of the King and Queen: The King of the Hill, over there, somewhere by Ids, on Flickr Some background info, the scene is lit using 6 old 12V train lights, this gives the needed warm light for the scene. For the moonlight I used an old phone as a flashlight (nice white LED light) and for the candle on the table to the right, with the King and Queen, I used an exo-force "Fiber Optics Cable Wide 20L" which runs through the candle, table, and wall behind the figs, there it is lit using another flashlight. The stained glass is build around an old Knights Kingdom panel, which was a bit difficult to incorporate because I did not want to use the piece that is normally used. I used a bunch of animals, can you spot them all. Thanks for looking and I am always happy to hear some comments.
  11. Hello, Friends! In addition to heavy LEGO minifigure customs that many of you liked, I will show other LEGO custom minifigures from Dark Fantasy theme that I have included in my collection. For example, this custom Lego minifigure of Ragmar, Elder Witch, also known as Mad Princess. The story of Ragmar is closely intertwined with the story of Helena, the Royal Princess, whose kindness and mercy were unlimited. Fate brought her to the old witch – Ragmag. As it often happens – for one to live, the other must die. Such sad story happened to Princess Helena, who came under the influence of evil charms and died while Ragmar continued her way. Ragmar custom minifigure can be twisted from all sides on my YouTube Channel – Here. My latest customs on Eurobricks: Lego Halloween Custom Minifigure Two Headed Ogre Cho'gall Warcraft Baba Yaga Custom Lego Minifigure Directly from Russian Folk Tales Soul Taker

  15. Hello! I already happened to get first of new elves sets - it appeared in some shops in Russia. So I can't wait to share my impressions with you :) Hope you'll like it too! In my opinion this year designesrs really succeed to make a bit more gender-neutral buildings in this series - as I began to unpack the box, my husband grabbed bags and started to build, he said this will be his dragon :D (to mention, he is not intresed much in other dragons) So, here's what is inside the box: And what it become: It's look really dangerous because it's horns, claws and thorns, and I liked curved design and how posable it is. Leg joints is solid and move only in one dimension, it is made as Draqon Queen legs with "+" holes in it. Earlier I worried that new color combination is not very harmonic, but in real it looks better than on photos, so as most of Lego sets. Also bionicle ball joints and details makes it different from good dragons, and this is fresh but still keeps familiar style. View from the top: There are whole 5 horns on it's head! Also nice printed symbol of Goblin King. Comparision to Zonya, the fire dragon, thay are the same size. Wyvern may fold it's wings and stand on them like on front limbs. That's epic! Some intresting steps from instructions: And new illustration in the end of book: There is some images from new app, and characters are depicted in the old realistic style :) And this surprised me a lot! A piece of rocky enviroment has simple and elegant mechanism that tosses up the crystal plate. 1x1 crystals is nice new feature. And there's new little blue piece with rounded corner: All characters: Goblin hair and shirt are not printed, it's moulded from different colours of plastic like baby dragons. Also, King's crown made with same method. I liked textile used for coat, it's dense and hanging under its own weight. I just a little worried why King and wyvern don't have names :( Little bear and her baby will complement the zoo of cute animals! By the way, squirrel, fox, pigeon and others are favorite charachers of my young sister :) And at last, I have such diorama of dark elves! I rebuilded green pool to make it look as it is in movie. By the way, ninjago ghosts became castle guards :) And so, I glad that new set gives feeling of new turn of elves' story and adds depth to it - that is most important :)

  18. Hi all. Here's my (WIP) first attempt at a steam engine. So far I'm pretty happy with the boiler and tender. The cab, wheels, centre coupling and some details need work but they'll have to wait until I can get more bits. The chasis isn't very strong when handled at the moment, may redesign from scratch. It's also having derailing issues on corners - I think the problems the current centre coupling. C&C welcome.
  19. This MOC depicts one of my favorite Christmas carols, 'Good King Wenceslas,' which has both a wonderful sound as well as a good moral within its lyrics. I've wanted to build this scene for quite a while now; glad to have finally done it! Hope you all enjoy!
  20. Some people call Alvin a wizard. Some call him an alchemist. Some whisper about him being a magician or a warlock. Almost everyone agrees that he’s slightly insane. What Alvin considers himself to be is something much nobler, however. “A Man of Science” is his self-applied title: a great experimenter, a brilliant scholar, a modern incarnation of Plato, Socrates, Archimedes and all the rest. Although, in his day and age, a successful “scientist” is usually someone who’s either very lucky, or has experienced a lot of “trial and error”. Whatever he is, Alvin is certainly not a very safe person to be around. His wild experimenting can often be very dangerous for a casual bystander. After he almost burned an entire village to the ground, the king decided it would be safer for everybody if Alvin was kept somewhere a little more “secluded”. Naturally a dark, empty room in the basement of the royal castle would be the perfect place to hide away an annoying wizard; the thick stone walls and ceiling should be strong enough to protect the rest of the world from the wild antics of the mad pseudoscientist…right? ****** Alvin scuffled back and forth between shelves stocked with wizardish appliances, hastily gathering the necessary ingredients for his latest concoction. According to his precise calculations—and some wild guessing—Alvin determined that the elixir for eternal life was within his grasp! Hustling franticly about the room, the old wizard snatched up a few final items, and then hurried to the center of the room, where a large cauldron was brewing. Alvin added ingredients one at a time, lifting the lid carefully with each thing he slipped into the cauldron. The great pot sizzled and bubbled, and a pungently foul odor spread about the room. ****** Smiling as he greeted his dinner guests, the king gestured for all present to have a seat. The tall, ornate wooden chairs squeaked slightly as the lords and ladies dropped into them. The king explained that dinner was still being prepared, but that the guests should all have a drink; his best wine was being served. As the guests took up conversations with one another and lifted their goblets for a toast, a slight rumbling shook the room. ****** The lid on the cauldron was shaking wildly now as Alvin slipped the last item into the huge pot. He stepped back carefully, as a huge grin spread across his silly face. His thoughts racing, he imagined the great power he would have with this mighty elixir. Suddenly, a loud pop sounded from within the cauldron. Without warning, the heavy metal lid was blown violently into the air, knocking Alvin roughly backward and causing the pot’s contents to spill out over the side. The lid continued its upward course until reaching the brick ceiling, which it subsequently blasted through. ****** The king let a counterfeit smile spread across his features as he raised his glass for another toast. Seriously, he grumbled to himself, this is the most boring dinner party I’ve ever been at! He touched the goblet to his lips, but before he could swallow any of the wine he was suddenly hit with an enormous wave of intense heat! The goblet fell from his grasp when suddenly a heavy iron pot-lid exploded through the table in front of him. It was followed by a ball of flame and a long line of smoke, leading back through the floor into the chambers of…the king closed his eyes and fervently wished to be someplace else. ______________________________ Here’s my second and last entry to the CCCXI! Category: Trial and Error. This was really a blast to build, haha. Thanks to my Dad for scientific advice and general encouragement. Happy new year everybody! :) Soli Deo Gloria!
  21. It was a dull autumn day when Juan Alfonso Fontonajo, Román Esteban Fontonajo's heir and current commander in chief of the Castillo de Nova Terreli and the city's armed forces, entered a battered tavern in the shady parts of Nova Terreli, with no guards at his side. A farmer went slightly behind Juan Fontonajo. Inside the dive a lot was going on, but the loudest turmoil could be heard from a table in the background. Sailors, harbour-workers and other men stood there, arms drawn, centered around a small pig on top of the table. Fontonajo approached them, fearlessly: "My dear friends, what is going on in here?" "We gonna kill dat pig!", shouted one of them. "This honourable farmer here told me you stole his pig and threatened him? Tell me, is that true?", Fontonajo said, looking at the men? "He named da pig Fernando Augusto! Like da mad king! Traitor he is! Be happy we ain't hanging him, Sir!" "Ah, my friends, I see", Fontonajo laughed. "I guess we have some misunderstanding here. You don't think that he names a pig, of all the animals, to actually honour the king?" "Ehrm... Well..." "See, I guess we have solved our problem now. In fact all this good man did was mock Fernando Augusto by naming a dirty pig after him." "Yer right, Sir Fontonajo! Very right! But da pig Fernando gotta die!", the man with the meat cleaver exclaimed! "Hold on. First let me show you how I deal with a pig that does not behave himself", Fontonajo said in a calm voice. He took a quick step forward, grabbing the apple that the pig was currently eating. "First I take away from the pig everything it desires!" He took a step back, and held the apple up high. "Then I take it away from the pig's limited sight. And after that all we can do is laugh at that pig!" "Fontonajo!!!", one of the men jubilated. "Deal with the pig!", another shouted. "Fontonajo should be our king!", one exclaimed. And then things escalated quickly. One of the men suddenly held a crown in his hand, wherever he had gotten that one from, and put it onto Juan Fontonajo's head. "King of the Colonies!", he exclaimed. "King of the Colonies!", the rest of the tavern began to shout, raising their arms in jubilation. "King of the Colonies! King of the Colonies! King of the Colonies! King of the Colonies! King of the Colonies!" Juan Alfonso Fontonajo however, with a massive smile on his face, took off the crown and spoke to the men: "You don't need no king! Yes, your king I could be, and what a great king I would indeed be!", he stated, confirmed by some jubilation from the crowd. "But we have seen that a king is not good for us here on Nellisa. You should decide for yourself. Your rulers should be those who actually care for you, not some random king in your distant homeland. There is no need for a crown. There is no need for a king in Nellisa. We all together shall rule this new Eslandola! Please remember that when the time comes." And with those words Fontonajo left the tavern. Back on the streets he still heard them, loud and clearly: "King of the Colonies!" "King of the Colonies!" Bonus shots of the whole MOC and of the guy who had a little too much to drink:

  23. Hi there! First of all, this is my first try at starting a topic, so Mods please correct me if I'm doing it wrong. After a span of two weeks not photographing anything, I finally had a surge of inspiration and built two LOTR themed Mocs. Osgiliath is presented here. This was my first attempt at doing some ruined wall-ish things, and I rather like how they turned out. I also got to use some Brick Warriors accessories which I have recently fell in love with So without further or do: Osgiliath: Main by Nagol_of_Fortfield, on Flickr And another: Osgiliath Action Shot! by Nagol_of_Fortfield, on Flickr C&C is always welcome and appreciated!
