    Castor city

Hugely impressive. There's a ton of creativity going on here. I also very much like the landscaping you've done here and there. Looks like a real city!
  2. I know I'm late to the party here, but this is just too good not to leave a comment on. The exterior is just about perfect - it would probably look very good next to L.G. Orlando's classic Mercy General Hospital - and the interior is wonderful as well. The gym is a different and interesting detail, and the whole thing fits perfectly in your (amazing) city. Well done, you keep building better and better stuff!
  3. I've been on holiday and haven't read the forum in a while, and this has to be the single most impressive thing that's been posted while I was away. I absolutely love it - the colour combinations and the plate-built walls make it incredibly realistic, and that steeple is gorgeous. Add to that the very nice scaffold, the beautiful footpath and a lovely fence, and you have something truly extraordinary. Will you be bringing this to any events? Like, say, Skærbæk in September? I'd love to see it 'in the brick'. (And as you can probably tell, I did enjoy it, so salvation is near.)
  4. I really like that 6-wide version, apart from the front end which I think is still just too tall. But it's certainly an enormous improvement on the original, which has all sorts of problems.
  5. Quite a lot of people build trucks in 8-wide :) I would personally prefer it in 6-wide, but it's a very nice design - I particularly like the use of that windscreen. That's a great idea, and it would obviously work just as well in 6-wide, combined with that roof design. Want to try that now! Thanks for sharing! EDIT: There's actually a lot of great stuff going on here. The whole SNOT build of the cab is great, and the idea of using those popsicle pieces as mirrors is also an inspired one. If they only existed in colours vaguely fitting for mirrors... :)
  6. That's a very impressive building, and a very good idea. I think the cinema looks pretty nice the way it is, but there's no doubt that you've made a significant improvement. Well done!
  7. That's a nice bus, and obviously a very clever solution for the roof. The four-wide gap between the windscreen and the roof makes me curious, though - is there any particular reason you left it open?
  8. I think this was the most difficult category to pick favourites from. You guys have got some incredible creativity going on! My points: 4) Mr Good and Evil Entry (Yatkuu) - 1 point 26) Hollywood Starlet Entry (vecchiasignoraceppo) - 1 point 27) Chicken Suit Guy Entry (Kristel) - 1 point Well done, everybody!
  9. Again, great entries. My three points go to: 1) Cowgirl Entry (Yatkuu) - 1 point 9) Downhill Skier Entry (Majoza77) - 1 point 21) Fairy Entry (Emma) - 1 point Well done, everybody!
  10. Some fantastic entries - I just couldn't narrow it down to less than three, so it'll be one point for each of these: 20) Bagpiper Entry (moctown) - 1 point 21) Computer Programmer Entry (Darkblane) - 1 point 27) Bunny Suit Guy Entry (Emma) - 1 point Well done, everybody!
  11. Wow, lovely! And very similar to the original. Are you, by any chance, going to Arte em Peças? I am, and I'd love to see your stuff there!
  12. I love your trains, Carl, and hope to make it to STEAM this autumn to actually see them up close. This one is an unusual design, but just as lovely as the rest of your stuff. And the custom decals are great, as always. Well done.
  13. I absolutely love this design. I was lucky enough to get my paws on the last Inside Tour set, the Piper jet, and I'm definitely going to have to try to find a way to get this one as well. It's gorgeous.
  14. A classic Fabuland paintbrush! What a great choice. I will treasure it!
  15. For those of you living close to London, I can highly recommend going to the Westfield Shepherd's Bush LEGO store to get your S10 Minifigure cravings satisfied. The staff are incredibly helpful, and several of the employees will help you feel the packages to get a full set, provided it's not too busy in there. I was just over there on holiday, and after spending about an hour in the store, split between three different days, I went home with a full series (excluding the elusive Mr. Gold, of course) plus an extra of each of the three figures I wanted extras of. Great service!
  16. There is a completely unique design language to the stuff you build, it's instantly recognisable as your work. That's a great achievement in itself, and the fact that it looks so good - and very scary - is a nice added bonus. Keep up the great work, you're incredibly good at this.
  17. This is absolutely stunning! So incredibly well-built on this scale. I'm a huge fan of the real building, and try to get to see it up close at least once a year, and your version is spectacular - not least because you've photographed it so well. I agree with the others - I thought it was a render. Well done on the design process, the build and the photography - it's wonderful. Wake up! You're a brick artist. I'd love to see some of your other stuff - if it's half the quality of this, it'll still be amazing :)
  18. Some great details here, and some very creative parts usage. I particularly like the tap and that kitchen roll holder. Brilliant!
  19. I have to agree that this is a very nicely designed building, inside and out - even if you don't take the fire damage into account. But that detail is something that makes it stand out a lot - it's just different than everything else. Plus, the blackened section does look both realistic and well done. I'm impressed!
  20. Wow. That dome... and the lovely facade. I haven't ever seen anything like this built with LEGO before. Fantastic! I'm going to have a look at Flickr now. I think the gymnastics interior fits best, scale-wise, with the building. But it's all gorgeous!
  21. Thanks guys! My first competition win on Eurobricks! Congratulations, Insurrection - on a very humorous avatar :) and Kristel: Those windows are fantastic.
  22. Well, we all know who is the Queen of Fabuland. Three wins, a second place and a third in these contests? That's a pretty impressive showing... :)
  23. I'm quite fond of www.brickfactory.info myself. It's not PDF based, but works very well and has done so for years.
  24. I particularly like the exterior. The colours are interesting and well chosen, and those crates used for the columns on the corners are just perfect.
  25. Like others have said before - not necessarily in this topic, but in others where this has been discussed: The gas station will not be released. It's not a set, but a MOC made by one of the designers. I know, because one of the designers told me at LEGO World in Copenhagen.
