  1. I do not fully understand the technical parts of your response, what does this mean?
  2. Why you say sorry, I do not know? I am not actually asking you to build the truck as I said, I am just offering my thoughts on improvement.
  3. I don't know, most people don't know about sbrick, they just google "lego battery" and buy it.I think this is better than SBrick for most cases because most models use less than 4 motors, and that models which need more than 4 motors should use SBrick.
  4. thank you, I was worried you would be offended, I tried to be polite while still being honest about it.
  5. I have an idea, could you add linear actuators to connect the axles to allow for lowering the end while trying to take a hill. In this picture: the front end of the car could be lowered using LA's to help it get over the hill easier. Then you could use reinforced CV joints to keep the drivetrain connected. The problem with turn tables could be easily solved by using the small turn tables, I don't believe there would be any disadvantage there from a technical perspective and it would improve ground clearance. The L motor used to power hypothetical linear actuators could be located under the seats in the cabin, it looks like there is some space there.
  6. Thank you for introducing me to this subreddit!
  7. Interesting, have not seen a build like this in a while, it is nice to see someone who frequents the Technic forum who has a good sense of looks
  8. This is a nice size, it is not a super-flagship vehicle but it also has a good number of functions, this would be an excellent set at the $50-75 price range!
  9. By the way, this is designed to make it easier to turn. This is important because buggies can make turns faster and be more agile.
  10. An observation, is the body split up into 3 different parts? They seem to move along with the axes of the car. Interesting idea I like it!
  11. If someone looks at a model car made with many pieces, wouldn't they assume it's Lego? More stories about behind the scenes please! Did you just contradict yourself nicjasno? Im confused
  12. I like how you did the change from black to white, very impressive! Otherwise, this seems like a pretty bad car. If it is rear-engine, then the hood should be very short rather than very long; the back is squarish; the front end of the car looks like a supercar made in the 90s, old/mediocre design overall. I don't think I have seen a car with as good of a color switch though, I don't recall seeing a two-color vehicle in Technic EVER though, this is ambitious, I like Version 2.0 of this car could be very impressive though, i will be following your creations.
  13. I have never been a fan of Toyota in Le Mans, for some reason they seem evil to me
  14. Impressive for a first MOC! Remember that Arctic MOCs are usually bright colors, not white, because they would get lost in the snow otherwise. However, unless you want to get a lot of new parts, this is not avoidable. Easy improvement- tuck the cables down so they're out of sight. You are talking subtractors already, this is a good sign! I would build the IR receiver with bricks around it so that it looks like an emergency equipment box and is not as ugly, just make sure you don't cover the top and you will be fine. A compact crane would be cool, check out the Unimog improvements thread, new things for you to consider, such as different attachments. I would get another row of those white Technic panels + a few vertical white 5L beams to balance out the looks. Pull off that random 3L blue pin with friction just above the battery pack on the left side, it doesn't do anything and makes it look uglier. You can put half pins + tiles on top of the doors and hood technic panels to smooth out the look. Overall very good job
  15. Hello. If I have a Lego compressor and an LPE which are the exact same design, could one of them drive the other one? Is this possible?
  16. So if I want to make an RC car w/ LPE which could be controlled remotely (no compressor hanging out attached to the remote, everything is contained in the vehicle), I would need LPE, Lego compressor, and motor to power compressor, correct? It might seem inefficient to do it this way, but I want to have pneumatic suspension and pnumetic doors, so would it make sense in this case?
  17. It is good to know that progress is being made on this car!
