    Good work and creative use of available space.

    It could help cut down the number of minifigs walking around glued to their smart device, totally unaware of their surroundings. The building could be something feasible in a very crowded city where things are built up against and around the train tracks. It might have play value. Kids could have a fun time crashing the train into anything in the way at the exit.

    If you're a box collector, any damage would be too much. I'd go to physical store to buy if I want a good box. There is less chance of mail guy going postal and doing a slam dunk with it. My worst box was from Toys'R'Us who just slapped a shipping label on the 8274 box.

    It really depends on what you want to do or hope to achieve. Outdated chipsets are still perfectly useable in the right situations.

    IR components are much cheaper than BT components. Tablets/smartphone/touch screens do not stand up to abuse like a PF IR remote.

    Welcome to Eurobricks. You can use LDD for builds in Brethens of the Brick Seas. In BoBS Challenges with real physical prizes, real bricks would be required for qualified entries. See you over in the Pirate forum.

    Which 3D printer did you get? I've been looking at getting one and there are so many. I've been using the local public library but they limit you to PLA, colors on hand, and maximum print time.

    Perhaps a box that can make use of Kadee couplers rather than reinventing the spring centering coupler for LEGO applications. It can have studs and Technic holes to mount to your LEGO carriages.
