  1. Welcome to Eurobricks. Head on over to the Train forum. One of our members have automated control of his LEGO train layout with Arduino--lights, coal loader, dumper, switches, etc.
  2. Wouldn't going out with one's bricklink seller be like going out with one's drug dealer? Proceed with caution. Video chat first. Do your background checks and due deligence. The pic could also be marketing tool to get you to buy from her store.
  3. Nice use of parts and microbuild. This probably fits the Special Theme better.
  4. I whipped together a vignette for my photo a day project. If you have a fear of dentistry, hit the back button on your browser now. It has some simple play features like the chair rotates and has head and feet tilt adjustments. There is a sink for blood and spit; drawers for instruments of pain. A laptop in case of getting stuck and having to Google the procedure. She has a degree from LEGO to practice. Let's see what kind of pain gain we can do today with a jackhammer on tartar. 5. Thanks everyone. Thanks for the tip. I tried the extra plate taller on the box. I like the look.
  6. Would using this curved windscreen work? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=92474
  7. You can hire loss prevent officers or have staff watch 'em like a hawk. The reality is you have to accept there will be some lost and factor that in your operating costs and adjust your pricing structure accordingly. Think of it as a cost of doing business. Are there LEGO Brand stores in Taiwan or the Philippines?
  8. Congrats. Very cool LEGO wedding.
  9. That is one ugly creature. Did you re-shoot and/or re-edit your photos from before? They look much nicer now.

  11. I think they are more like Rube Goldberg type machines. You're basically moving a ball from point A to point B with a lot of extra process steps in between. Just build something. It doesn't have to be complex or original. Everyone has to start somewhere on their GBC journey.
  12. It is one of those things one doesn't "get over it" but learn to cope over time. I make it a policy not to disassemble any of my old grey sets and MOCs so the parts don't get mixed up with my loose bleys.
  13. Another update: In the movie Mad Max 2, Lord Humungus took a shot and appeared to miss, but this time he has more incentive to be on target. Day 098 of 365: Black Hawk Down by dr_spock_888, on Flickr This is probably the last one I am going to get to make before the LUG event this Friday and weekend. Thanks.
  14. Thanks. Interesting to see how the bunnies evolved over the years. Thanks. Hmm, maybe I should have made a carrot blaster. Thanks. I see that my marketing keywords worked.
  15. Neat. I could use one to increase my town population. Kai NRG made this.
  16. Thanks for the write up and renders. I would love to make a Friendly GBC. Has anyone taken this to shows and events? How well does it travel and stay "in tune"?
  17. Thanks. It works. Looks great in motion.
  18. I think the bottom line is he is who has the power and money can re-edit history.
  19. If I recall the Starsky and Hutch TV show of the 1970s, there were shootings, killings, hookers, smoking, drugs, drinking, etc. I guess those parts of the show are contrary to LEGO brand values.
  20. Good use of Friends heads. Did you sand off the faces?
  21. Cool MOD. The Death Star looks like a giant octopus on top with its tentacles reaching across the galatic empire. The YouTube link is coming back 404 Not Found...
  22. There is a title editing request topic in the Help forum -> http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33497&st=75 Ask there and put a link to the topic you want edited.
