Seeking Advice On Sorting Minifigures
dr_spock replied to SEE AR AR THREE's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I keep all my CMFs on 32x32 base plates so that I can see quickly what I have. When I need to take apart a few of them to assemble another fig for photos, I grab the ones I need and take off the required pieces. I keep the disassembled figs aside in another container. After the photo shoot, I would put back the pieces used to the original CMF fig and put them back on the base plates. For more generic figs heads, torsos, legs, I keep those in type of storage boxes that Peppermint-M had shown. -
I do not recommend filling up your cups with PAM parts just for the sake of ruining their stock. I think it'll just make LEGO set a formal policy that all stores will restrict all PAM parts in PAB cups. Right now, local store management has some discretion. We should just let the PAM sales numbers speak for themselves when they get around to doing a review how well the new program is going.

My latest attachment for my Unimog--a "woodchipper" GBC module powered by the mog's PTO. I had some major problems running it all day at Brickfete. The Unimog's M-motor would overheat after a while and shut down. Let it cool and it works again. Also the CV joint in the drive shaft would pop out from time to time. I replaced it with another one and that problem was solved. Back to the drawing board...

Akiyuki's Cup-to-Cup GBC
dr_spock replied to djm's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Barrel is a good idea. They have a Technic axle hole in the bottom. I have a PAB cup of them somewhere. -
I don't remember now either. That was such a long long time ago. It might have been a red tow truck. 7710 was the first set I bought on my own.
