  1. Nice color combo. It looks a bit like the EMD BL2 locomotive. Is there a purpose for slanting the railings at the front and back?
  2. You could use a remote screen control software on your iPad to control a Windows PC running the Bluebrick software. Run Windows under Virtualbox on the Mac. There is a way if you really have to and can't wait for the new version that runs on the latest Mono but it may not be as convenient like a native application.
  3. The orange color Horizon Express train also came with a green one. Orange ones are much easier to spot in a messy pile of bricks. That can happen when one is not a neat and tidy MOCer.
  4. farted
  5. Great NPU with the blasters, treasure chest lid.
  6. Nice. I like the alien 2nd shot. Yeah, they should be in sci-fi. Neither movie IP has been licensed by LEGO.
  7. That is covered in the Site Guidelines under posting when it is ok to resurrect an old topic. I don't think most user read them before agreeing to them. Perhaps the membership application questions should be based on the SIte Guidelines like: What is the minimum age to join Eurobricks? What is EB's policy on promoting your Ideas and YouTube channels? What is the maximum picture size allowed? When is it ok to quote pictures?
  8. Anyone else finding in Search clicking the drop down list for the Condition don't seem to work under Firefox v39? Typing an "N" for new seem to make the drop down list appear.
  9. Tried some more outdoors. It seemed harder than indoors. What are the best time and conditions to take outdoor photos of LEGO?
  10. I think that could vary depending on the LED color. White and blue LEDs take around 3.6V, Red, green, yellow, and orange LEDs are around 2V, You can probably go farther with the lower voltage color LEDs.
  11. http://www.gflug.org/calendar.htm It looks like GFLUG is attending BrickWorld Tampa. You could show up there as part of the public. Entrance fee is $12. Find the GFLUG people and talk to them about their LUG. See what kind of things they are into and do those things match your own interest. Do you feel comfortable hanging out with those guys? If current local LUGs are not a good fit for you, you can try to start your own. One way to meet and find people of similar interest is attend events. If you have a local LEGO store, you can ask around, chat with AFOL looking people at the Buiid A Model wall, etc. Be creative in recruiting.
  12. I think you can make this and resin cast a bunch of them for less than the cost of a 3D printer plus material.
  13. Banned
  14. Turn down the brightness on your monitor. I don't think they give you different skin options. Browsing Bricklink at night in bed is going to annoy my spouse.
  15. Anie needs a servant in the after life. Toss him in. Day 196 of 365: Retainer Sacrifice by dr_spock_888, on Flickr Freelance work appears to pay well bounty. Day 197 of 365: Trophy Room by dr_spock_888, on Flickr It could be Ronan was so confident he could sense his target without looking. Or as you said it went off accidentally and Jar-Jar clumsily walked into it. Either way, the desired outcome was achieved.
  16. It looks ok. I was fine with the old skin. I miss the "list of stores" quicklink, now have to get used to clicking on Buy.
  17. Complex molecules can be from simple molecules. Theoretically it could be possible to make ABS from different starting material than cruel oil. The trick would be find materials and processes that are economically feasible.
  18. vodka.
  19. Thank you for the link and time point. They are 7x5x5--two studs narrower than the styrene bucket.
  20. Time to learn to speak Dutch. It is good to see LEGO is still using them in other themes sets. Recently I grabbed a bunch of red ones at a parts draft. No one wanted the Technic stuff for some reason. Oh well.
  21. You must have lived in Vancouver and shopping at London Drugs?
  22. Welcome to Eurobricks.
