Nice build! I particularly like the way the dig site fits into the landscape, and the drill rig is really cool! Also, all the Indy references are good...even the Crystal Skull ones Good to have you back!

Best Roxxon reference in the MCU is in the one-shot A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer where Coulson beats up some thugs at a gas station. Pity they stopped making those

It would make sense for them to. As molds see more mileage, they wear out. Each new batch of parts is essentially no different than the one before it, but after a year or two the parts produced probably have some slightly noticeable difference in clutch or tolerance than the first. At some point, those differences become substantial enough that batches of pieces produced fail QC, and many bricks are unusable. A new mold has to be made, which replaces the old one on the assembly. (Presumably, most molds are replaced with new ones, since there are few one-and-done parts; TLG has gotten much better at trying to reuse parts from one theme in other applications, Unikitty tail being a good example.) If LEGO kept those old molds around, someone could hypothetically steal one and produce parts marked with the LEGO stamp and made on actual LEGO molds, but that would not have the same standards that LEGO is generally known for. It would degrade the brand, and the product as well. The same could happen if some ignorant LEGO factory employee came across said mold in storage and put it back into the production line. Either way, the only way to ensure those worn out molds don't make more bricks is to destroy them. And since they really aren't useful anymore, why shouldn't they?

Location: F04 (Terrial Minor Illustria) Tags: Spying Agent Blond's mission against the Zoid slavers had been a complete success. At least, right up until the point he got knocked out. Perhaps "MANTIS' best spy" was a bit of an exaggeration... He awoke and found himself strapped awkwardly to a table. He tried to regain his composure and assess his surroundings for escape, but at that moment one of the Zoids burst through the door. Then, to Blond's horror, the Zoid began taking off his head. Why, he wasn't a Zoid at all! "Good evening, Mr. Blond! I see you are finally awake!" "Who are you? Where am I? Blond inquired. "In our secret base on Illustria! But ah-ha! I already tell you too much. You should not be the one asking questions here, Mr. Blond! That's my job!" "Do you expect me to talk?" "No, Mr. Blond, I expect you to die!" This was not spoken by the first man, but by a second as he entered the room. Blond could see he also wore a Zoid costume. "So much for our 'secret base' Gib," he added. "Sorry boss," the first fake Zoid replied. As he came in the second man grabbed a controller hanging from the girders above, and with a cruel chuckle pressed the button. Blond felt the room suddenly get noticeably hotter. He looked down towards his feet, and knew he had to act quickly... Although his hands were bound, he was able to reach out his MANTIS™ Death Ray Blaster© Pocket Edition™, and fire a beam at the laser. Nooo! The slavers cried. Blond then shot off his restraints, turned on his captors, and said, "Now, sirs, I believe it is you who will be doing the talking, and unless you cooperate, the dying as well." **************** This was a build I did a couple of weeks ago but missed the posting deadline. It's been on my Flickr for awhile, but never posted anywhere. Been itching to do a Bond reference for awhile C&C welcome! Edit: I got the planet name wrong. It is supposed to be F04, Illustria. That's what I get for using the dynamic map on mobile

I dunno. Coulson has been out long enough now that it seems like putting him back in would just be...out of place. He had his part as the 'mascot' of SHIELD in the early movies, to represent a common thread across the MCU. However, one of the biggest gripes about those early movies (Thor, IM2 in particular) is how they tried to shoehorn SHIELD in too much. A similar complaint was made about AoU when the helicarrier showed up at the end; it didn't fit nor make much sense since SHIELD is basically a non-entity now in the MCU (ignoring AoS, which I haven't watched since S1E6 or so). Bringing back a character who is essentially a stand-in for the organization at large, when that organization no longer exists in the movie seems redundant and pointless. If they had worked him in in CW:WS or AoU, they could have pulled it off, but now it kind of seems like that ship has sailed.

I love all the details all throughout the story. I only just noticed the puking 'fig as they leave the club

I have been looking at this problem since last night and wondered about the conclusion that Aanchir had come to. Alternately, have you thought of orienting the axle hole piece at 45 degrees to the shape? I wanted to play around with this and see if I could approximate the desired shape of the cam. If I get to it I'll post my results later.

No, the alien fleets move (or don't move) randomly each week.

Sweet little micros! I love the continuation of the separatist saga

I quite like the sleek look of the micro ship, and of course the interior of the base.

So much goodness in such a small build. I really like how you built the figurehead with the blaster and armor pieces, it took me awhile to figure out what they were!

The hangar is top-notch, and I like your A-wing better than the original!

Fantastic landscape!

Hilarious story, Granny cracks me up!

The ship this is based on isn't familiar to me, but I really like what you've put together here, and how you've managed to squeeze in a decent interior, as well.

Great boat, and I love the water technique. Now I am just wishing I had stocked up on more blue 2x2 round plates from the PAB when I had the chance

I like the chibi size of the vehicle and the base. Your base definitely deserves much better reviews than...that other base

This might be my favorite build of yours...
