  1. I also want to see a few more pics! I like the MANTISification of the DeLorean. I guess you've preempted a theme week from the future!
  2. I like the overall look of it, but my favorite is those front intakes...I'ma definitely gonna have to borrow that design sometime!
  3. The only piece I have noticed that on was the 3-leaf bamboo pieces I got a few months ago, but IIRC that's just kind of how the bamboo piece is, since it is a different plastic.
  4. cheese-sicles
  5. On the subject of new parts, I would love to see a part that combined these two: Like a double cheese with studs sticking off the back. We could call it snot cheese. It would sell like hotcakes.
  6. Location: E01 (Donwarr) Tags: N/A ***Judges, if this build was posted too late for week 43 let me know and I'll just treat it like a WIP for week 44*** On a medical frigate in Donwarr's atmosphere, Jex has been placed in the medical psychiatric ward, to monitor both her physical and mental health after her trauma before her rescue from the planet's surface. **************** Well, that concludes our session for this morning, Ms. DuBois. I will check in with Dr. Radagast and see you again later this afternoon. Thank you, Doctor. No, thank you, Ms. DuBois. Hang in there, we'll get you through this. Woah, look out! Food cart comin' through! Ah, Dr. Urie, I was just coming to find you! And I was hoping to find you here. How is our patient? She is recovering from the trauma quite well. Surprisingly, she exhibits very few behaviors commonly displayed with PTSD, and seems quite sound mentally. No contact with other people for two months has naturally made her a bit jumpy. However... Yes? Well, it's this two months business that keeps confounding the situation, isn't it? I mean, other than her irrational insistence that she spent two years alone in that jungle, she seems to fit a perfect image of mental health! Then I have some news for you, Doctor Urie. What is it? The analysts were able to start the decoding process on the black box. Just a few hours ago. They were able to confirm the date and time of its transmissions with its internal clock, and it has been pinging its location to Andromeda for one year, eleven months, and twelve days. But...that's impossible! Yet true, and consistent with her story. Incredible! On top of that, results came back from forensics, and the remains of Starstriker's corpse are also consistent with two years of decay in those swamps rather than two months. As unbelievable as our patient's story is, the science is backing her up on this. Well, while I don't understand it, I will have to tell her right away! This is truly great news for our patient. But...how is this all accomplished? I mean, how has she managed to live two years of life while the rest of life has only passed through two months? I was told they are still working on that mystery, Doctor. I personally suspect it has something to do with unexpected GATE travel, how else would they have jumped from Jurin II to Donwarr like that? How indeed. Thank you, Dr. Radagast. My pleasure, Dr. Urie.
  7. Made a trip to my local (Murray, UT, USA) store on Thursday. Besides what I have below, they also had 2x4 bricks in various colors, but none rare or exciting, as well as some of the 4x4 plates leftover from previous months. They also had some 8x16 bright green plates which I wish I had gotten, but I didn't notice them until my two cups were already full, and I didn't want to have to repack them. Lg #1 by rodiziorobs, on Flickr (L to R:) orange 1x2 plates, lbg 3x6 wings, both L and R, medium azure (?) 2x4 plates, blue 4x6 plates, white 1x4 double bows, black 1x4 bows, pink studs, trans-orange cheese, lbg/black antennas, lbg 1x1 snot, pink 1x2 plates, dbg 1x1 plates with double snot knobs, (Ctr:) small mixel eyes, lbg 1x4 snot, large white fences, 2x6 tan plates. Lg cup #2 by rodiziorobs, on Flickr (L to R): Dark pink 1x2 slopes, white 1x5x6 panels, more lbg 1x4 snot, red 2x8 and 4x4 plates, med. lavender 1x2 invert slopes, more pink 1x2 plates, 1x1 lime rounds, white 1x2 brick with sideways click-hinge, dark pink 1x4 bricks, more 1x4 double bows, more lbg 1x1 snot, more trans-orange cheese, more dbg 1x1 plates with double snot knob, (Ctr:) more black 1x4 bows, two random orange plates, white 1x2 plate with handles, more medium azure 2x4 plates. Mostly PAM parts, but still a decent selection. There were also some leftover parts from last quarter (brown chairs, green 1x2 plates with sideways double clip, etc). I probably won't make another PAB buy until next quarter, though; I feel like I got all I needed from this one.
  8. No, that's the spin-off that starts the shared Measurement Cinematic Universe which, while fairly consistent in quality, all becomes kind of samey until they start to introduce more obscure measurements like the Cubit.
  9. (what?)
  10. Still enjoying the game. I have discovered a glitch. When two of the pieces are unplayable (due to the board being crowded), and the third piece clears a line, the game ends even if the cleared space has opened up enough room for one of the two pieces, or even for the new replacement piece. It was hard to get a screenshot of what I'm talking about (because the game over screen covers most of the board), but I managed to force it to happen where it would be visible. You should be able to see in the pic below: The white arrow on the top indicates where I just placed a small white piece--the only piece before that would fit. I already had one long red piece and a big blue flower which wouldn't fit on the board. Playing the white piece cleared the top line--as you can see, every space is grey--meaning that both the red piece I already had, and the new replacement piece (also a long red) will fit on the board, but because the game is already "over" it won't let me make these legal moves. Like I said, still enjoying the game, good job! I look forward to an update
  11. This is a pretty fun puzzle game, and was easy to play for several minutes at a time. Here are a couple of notes: In the app rules, it doesn't say that lines have to be touching the wall in order to clear. That could be upsetting if someone didn't know that. Having some time component could make it a little more engaging, either a bonus for quick placement or some kind of penalty for going slow. As is, since you can go however slow or fast you want, there is no sense of urgency to the game. Having to make decisions quickly would make it a little more frustrating (but in a good way; puzzles are supposed to be somewhat frustrating ).
  12. Please transfer all of my credits to Big Sal.
  13. Even though I'm a fan of most of the films Marvel Studios has put out, I didn't think I would be very excited for this movie. I was wrong. That's an effective trailer.
  14. Dolph Lundgren in Titanic
  15. crackers
  16. Groundhog Day, for the nth time. Live Die Repeat. (Also known by the totally generic title Edge of Tomorrow) It was pretty good, despite some plot inconsistencies, and very entertaining. Aside from good performances by Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt, it is probably also the only movie/show where I have found Bill Paxton both well-cast and watchable.
  17. Correct! Your turn.
  18. My money is on Series 2 having a Sorcerer's Apprentice variant, and possibly a Top Hat variant even later on than that.
  19. Love the story and the characterization. As for the build, I loved spying all the little details in the background as the story progressed--the decor, the bed and headboard, the tools, etc. Great entry this week.
  20. ...is that a tiny MANTIS logo I spy on the quad? Great micro, and fantastic parts usage abound!
  21. Those trees (and the ground-dwelling flora? fauna?) are fantastic! Great lighting effects, too.
