  1. Very nice. The arch is great, and I love that very happy centurion strolling through! The weapons racks are simple enough, but look great. Nice builds!
  2. Welcome to EB, Marin! Happy building!
  3. Looks great! The solution for the lights on the nose and keeping the shape with that 2x3 modified plate is lovely! I've also been eyeing the 50 Years on Track for a while now, but this may just inspire me to put together a different collection of 4-wides.
  4. Welcome to EB, Edd! I'm sure you'll find plenty of inspiration here, and look forward to seeing some of your MOCs as well. Happy building!
  5. The fighter with that canopy has a bit too much of a chibi feel for me (though still a decent MOC), but the walking mechs are fun and interesting, and that first one (v7 - v9) is really cool especially for the small size. Plenty of little details to appreciate, and things like using that windscreen/canopy piece at a non-standard angle work really well. Nice builds!
  6. Looks great. Simple but effective hull shaping, and good job on the masts and rigging!
  7. Nice concept and execution here. The Bionicle parts definitely work well for this, and you've integrated them nicely. Great build!
  8. Looks good. Certainly a nice use of the flame/energy parts!
  9. Really a delightful set of vignettes. The Yellow Castle one is so charming, and the colors in the Fantasy and Forestmen builds are great! The Duel is a good balance of detail and simplicity. Great all-around!
  10. Very nice. They shouldn't have brought sword to a cannon fight! The very visible pineapple in a palm tree is slightly odd unless there's a story there I'm missing, but otherwise it's a nice tight build with good motion and some nice posing, especially those surprised Aurelians.
  11. This is such a wonderful build, and certainly idyllic! Lovely house, and all the details around it. The path is nice, great base and foliage, and as already noted those are some wonderful deer! NPU with the wands throughout, those little brown mushrooms, things like the paintbrushes used in the timber framing of the house - all so delightful!
  12. Looks great! Nice combination of nostalgia with the general design and some older parts and some more modern finishes. Nice build!
  13. What a great selection of row houses! Nice variety of styles, and the various SNOT techniques give a lot of character and make them unique, along with the nice color choices.
  14. OK, fair... I might have had *something* else that was made by Lego before those sets I remember. Sounds like fun! And those buckets are surprisingly versatile with the multiple stud connections as well as the hinge. So many possibilities... I know I used them as robot arms/grabbers in quite a few MOCs when I was little.
  15. Welcome to EB, Alpha Draconis! If you weren't aware of it at the time, TLG did re-release old sets with their Legends line (you can see them here: https://brickset.com/sets/tag-Legends ) starting back in 2001, but it was pretty limited. I would be fantastic if they did something similar but, as you suggest, added in a voting or pre-order element like what they're doing with the Bricklink Designer Program and Ideas. We can keep wishing! Happy building!
  16. This program (and your complaint) isn't specific to train sets. The "issues" you seem to be talking about are your grudge with TLG and judgement of their business practices with Bricklink of which you have no factual information, so I think this bit of discussion doesn't need to continue (I would suggest starting a new topic if you really want to go deeper with it). Yes, I'd also like to focus on the positives rather than speculate on potential negatives. I'm excited to see the revisions to this set and the others and what the final offering for this round looks like!
  17. Agreed! I really like that those sets came with a small pile of 1x1 bricks or other random parts to scoop and move. A tiny detail, but so much extra play value! I'm right there with you on having the whole collection in your head and being like, "I want to make a garbage truck, but the 2 lift-hinges I need are being used in that spaceship right now..."
  18. See my previous comment above. This has been done before, and it does not rely on slave labor. You're making huge assumptions based on no evidence and having done no research, so maybe let this go and let's un-hijack the thread and talk about the train-related set... I agree with your first comment with the other rejected Ideas train station- that modular-style one is more to my liking. It will be interesting to see what the final design of this one is and how many people jump in to pre-order it and whether it passes the threshold for production. Assuming this works well like the first round of the Bricklink Designer program, we'll conceivably get the opportunity to purchase more designs this way, and possibly even another station or other train-related design since this program seems more flexible with producing similar sets than Ideas being based on number of committed pre-orders.
  19. You must have missed the fact that they've already successfully done this in cooperation with TLG. Here are the sets from the first round: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?catType=S&catString=1056 I believe all the parts were brand new and were provided in bulk by TLG, with packaging and distribution done by Bricklink. Anyway, back on-topic... The station is a little busy for my taste, but a really nice model nonetheless. I think it'll come down to what the final pricing is like, but it's still great to see these creations get another shot. Some good builds in there for sure!
  20. Nice all-around, but that drippy, gunky stuff in first couple pictures feels so gross... it's great!
  21. Very nice, and the assembly inside the TV is awesome! That would make a great Ideas set, with a few different Wandavision scenes/eras to swap out (some B&W, some color).
  22. My first set was this one: ... but the first one I vividly remember was this awesome construction set: So much fun back in the day!
  23. You can find the PDF download links here: https://www.hispabrickmagazine.com/magazines/
  24. Yes, sorry- I wasn't able to post an image at the time so did my best with words. And I do agree with you- it seems like a pointless configuration, but if it was simply part of a new set of more rigid standards for newer parts or something along those lines it could explain it. Although... does it still fit flush like that on a standard plate or brick? The stuf from the white bracket is hollow and without the logo print, and I think the "LEGO" is where the 0.1mm of collision comes from.
  25. Looks incredible! A lot of nice details throughout, but one little item that jumps out at me is how well those modified 1x1 bricks-with-bar work on the back there when placed sideways. Great!
