Welcome to EB, Dale! I like your neo-Classic Space stuff and look forward to seeing that Fabuland creation! Stay well, and happy building!

I'd agree that the embellishments don't work for more "serious" use, but it does have a lot of play value and I'd definitely have had a ton of fun with it when I was a kid laying out a whole street grid. That being said, it is just tape and the pattern is very simple, so cutting out the bits with skid marks or grass would be very easy, and you'd probably still end up with 13m of usable, "normal" road.

Welcome to EB, Felicia! Lego with 11 kids sounds wonderful and maybe a little challenging, but the collaborative things you all come up with must be a ton of fun. Looking forward to seeing your town at some point. Happy building!

Not really my cup of tea (I can only collect so many things, really)... but the general concept and execution is great, especially if they're priced reasonably. I'll admit, if they threw out some homages to classic themes or something, I might bite.

This is wonderful! Definitely feels like what 10027 would be if released today. Great use of the profile bricks for the exterior with enough interest added to break it up (especially the scattered greenery), and the interior feels just right. The crane is nicely integrated. Love the windows, too. Awesome build!

Magnificent. Beautifully designed and integrated. I love the whistle, and the display on the bit of track you've built is great as well.

Welcome to EB, Alfred! Happy building!

That's really fun! Nice execution of that wing function in a brick-built manner.

Welcome to EB, Redroe! Depending on your family and work setup, you might go into a bit of a... let's call it, "dim" age with the newborn, but then as they get a little older, as leafan said, it'll be even more engaging with another person to enjoy Lego with. Happy building!

Welcome back to EB, Paul! Looking forward to seeing more of your C models. Happy building!

I'm not sure why I watched 2 minutes of that, but the music was a good choice, and it looks like a lot more fun than what I've been doing the last week so good on you!

You've definitely met your objectives here. The speeder is very well done (NPU on the front end, but really the whole thing). Nice expressions & posing on the minifigs, and the whole scene feels right. The shelter feels as it should, and the mud/water works really well. Great build!

Looks good - a very clean mashup, and I agree that this look fits much better with the rest of the more subdued modulars.

Welcome to EB, jed1ndy! Nice to have you de-lurking here. Happy building!

[MOC] [WIP] UCS Scale - Babylon 5 Earth Alliance Starfury
deraven replied to Captain_Quinn's topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
That's a great looking Starfury! Perhaps you can make the cockpit ejectable as well. Very well thought-out including things like hardpoints. -
Educational, and a nice build as well. Great solution on the limber.

Tensegrity GBC
deraven replied to Berthil's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Looks great and functions well. Great execution! Beyond the tensegrity elements, I love the way the lifter + pusher look and operate. Wonderful build. -
Ninjago reimagined in Western Setting
deraven replied to Jamin Star's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
You could definitely have Westworld thing going on there with Zane. Nice mashup. -
This is wonderful! I particularly like the roof and the urns at the top. The clamshell balconies are great as well. And while they're not new, I still love those streetlights! Beautiful build!

This is great! Nice posing, and the details are lovely. The shower head catches my eye, and the overall shaping on the bathtub is well done. The kicked-off shoes are a nice touch, and of course your character there is excellent. The hair and face and overall shape is wonderful. Great build!

That's awesome! I mean, it's ridiculously oversized for a minifigure's scale, but we all know how that goes. Great that you worked in that detailing on the engine, and the shaping on the front end works well.

Love the variety of buildings, and this was a great way to display them all. I like that you included those outcroppings of rock as well and the rafts, etc., to give it a little more going on. I would suggest more difference in elevation between islands for future builds both for more variety as well as protection: one extra-high tide and all of those buildings will be flooded!
