  1. I don't remember if 60002 fitted in the Fire Brigade though. I recently got that truck with a mix of various set in a secondhand buy, I should build it to check.
  2. I host pictures on my server, so I was using MOCpage just for the structure/referencing and for displaying info around the pictures. Brickshelf is just picture hosting, Bricksafe seems similar. I don't really want to use Flickr either (which is also still just a photo album).
  3. I did that, since I didn't like the old one :D (and later replaced it by 60003)
  4. Good that I see this thread today, I wonder how I missed it since its creation... Thanks for doing it, I hope to win something nice like last year :) Anyway here is a quick MOC, remembering when a Swedish friend published a photo of his car after people from Continental Europe were complaining having a little snow
  5. In my case pages come empty, but if I wait a few seconds the contents finally appears. Often while loading a page there is also a few seconds where my browser freezes... I'm using Firefox, but it didn't seem to work much better in Internet Explorer. I wonder how they made a site so bad.
  6. I wonder the same... I could not find info since there seem no active Twitter or Facebook account about the site. In case the site is gone, is there a more reliable alternative? Or is there a thread about solutions for that (other than flickr), to avoid starting a discussion if one already exists on EB...
  7. It meant that the other way round: the 30s are often mentioned, but the car is too recent for the 30s.
  8. Another year-reference is the car of the Palace Cinema: 40s/50s style
  9. I think there are clone ones indeed. The circled ones being probably that. These clones have slightly different legs it seems; also one at the right of nr 1 There are also strange legs in red at the bottom of the pic, maybe the same ones?
  10. Thanks. Indeed I hesitated putting tiles on the roof, like what was done in set 21010 Robie House (from where some of the dark red parts come from)
  11. Some time ago I made a minifig-size replica of my apartment, the next step was making the whole building. But as it would require more parts than what I have I settled for a microscale version. I had that project since some time, and a challenge on the Lego thread of the hardware.fr forum was a good opportunity for that. Photo of the actual building: Captures from Google Earth, giving a better view for an easier comparison: Page on my site: https://antp.be/lego/moc/apt-block.php
  12. Nice!
  13. The Belville baby: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?q=Belville Baby Boy (maybe it does not count as "minifigure", but it is scary )
  14. Most of other EU countries seem to have it as 260€ (FR/BE/NL too) ; it is just Germany which is cheaper than others, as usual... not sure why.
  15. On that photo it was bright pink. According to photos I made previously in July 2013 and January 2014 I found that part in Medium Lavender. Not sure in which store it was however (Lille/Levallois/Wijnegem/Köln), I posted that back then in this thread but I'm not sure how to find it. I was also often forgetting to check what was available. Last time I was happily surprised by what was available in Lille store, so I made three figs as I found nice parts in the build-a-fig bin.
  16. It is the other way round: cheaper in Germany. Belgium and France have the same price as Netherlands (usually France is Between Germany and Belgium for the price). Last year I went to Cologne for getting the Brickbank + Ghostbusters HQ, there was a 70€ difference compared to Belgium. Usually for 20€ difference I go to Lille store, but here since the French price is the same as in Belgium I'll order it on S@H (Cologne is too far for only 20€). As the value of the £ decreased (right?) it is normal that it appears cheaper in UK ; Lego tries to compensate currency changes usually, so prices do not change for people buying on their own market.
  17. The "type 2" of the part (4285b) is used in http://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=6771-1#T=S&O={} maybe it is that one?
  18. Looks nice, good work :)
  19. Indeed, I do not know why all sites mention Lego despite a Playmobil is well visible. Maybe because that helmet is from a Danish company. However a similar hairstyle exists in Lego too.
  20. They always have problems with their site at that time, maybe launching a big product on a Wednesday will allow them to make everything ready on Monday & Tuesday
  21. That works if they didn't glue it
  22. I take care of aligning the subtle mark that's on the surface of most of 2x2 tiles, as they tend to be visible in plain light; same for the mark at one end of most of 1x6 tiles. Same for other "marks" that I try to keep symmetrical (e.g. in the corner of the 2x2 window glass). In the same way, the side of 1x2 & 2x2 tiles has an injection mark that I try to hide.
  23. I can't help seeing that a little like a waste of parts/plastic what will that structure become after the event?
  24. There is a brick in a military-green color that makes me thing to the use of non-Lego parts. The base plate also does not seem to have "Lego" on the studs... (though that it is difficult to see)
  25. nice build, well done on all the interior details
