  1. Thanks 'Nemo57' that is one of the best suggestions I have ever had and I will do it tomorrow - I should have plenty of those frames in white and window glass pieces to fit. Cool, I'll have windows for my modular then when I start it that is ! Keep watching & Brick On !
  2. I see what you mean, but that roof section to have a ceiling, costs too much money for the required parts. Not everyone is going to be looking underneath/ No space left in the store itself for more stuff and it's a hardware store not a night club ! You might take a look at my other designs and you will see I try different things for different effects. Brick On !
  3. Oh, that's okay......funny I hear differently on Ideas. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, did you see my other hardware store I have posted plus all my other hardware stores over the years. This particular design is totally an old school inspired set design, I started with Lego when the first minifig scale sets came to Australia back in the late 1970's. Actually I highly doubt that this would become a set, even branding only helps a little. Brick On !
  4. Thanks for the comments 'gamejutzu', actually I've never considered it a prototype - just a simple inexpensive city set idea though I might make some either changes or additions. Brick On !
  5. Thanks for your comments 'Hobbythom', it was my aim at designing an inexpensive set idea and it was tossed together in a few hours. A menu board and maybe a soda machine will be added shortly. Don't worry my next design shall not let people down. Brick On !
  6. Thanks 'Neno57' for your feedback, now would it surprise you or any one else that the tiger is thinking a modern modular hardware store ? So any suggestions, etc., please post them. Brick On !
  7. Yes, another one.......I like hardware stores.......my favorite stores right after ones that sell Lego ! This one is a mini shop style on an old school 8 stud x 16 stud base plate and it has elements of the Home Hardware Store in it as well. Oh, and I have updated it already ! I thought the paint tins would look better this way and you can also see tubes of contact cement.......good old Octan again ! Oh, so if you want to here's the link - https://ideas.lego.com/projects/122183 Thanks for looking everyone.........Brick On !
  8. Now I took myself to task to make an in-between size hardware store that might fit the current building scale for city while still packing a punch in detail, etc.,. Not much to say here, pretty much explains itself......yep, I've been sticker making crazy again. Oh, wait I updated this the other day....... Yeah, I've added more stuff........here's the link if you like this.......https://ideas.lego.com/projects/122044 Any comments and suggestions feel free to post them.......Brick On everyone !
  9. Now you might have been wondering where I have been ? Designing and posting projects on Ideas. Here is my latest, it's humble with that old classic town retro feel........a snack bar. Inspired by the late 1970's town snack bar and who didn't back then........also who didn't break the snack bar sign stand on their head ? Yep, I have been busy with my printer again and I designed a custom soft serve machine just for this MOC. Now if your interested here's the link to Ideas, support it if you want to.......https://ideas.lego.com/projects/122613 Anyway, thanks for checking this one out and as usual I'll finish by saying........Brick On !
  10. Awesome vig 'steentje', I totally dig the washing machine and poor Peter he might be getting a nasty surprise. Brick On !
  11. Wow, how original everyone........another small copter and another small fire fighting jeep.......my guess anyway. No wonder I'm trying out different design ideas on Ideas hopefully city designers might change things.
  12. Well, that is confirm in my books ! Now let the guessing games really being right ?
  13. My guess would be yes, I can't see the edges of any sticker on those round tiles.
  14. The ferry I really like it reminds me of the ones still in use in different parts of the Murray River. I can't wait to see high res images and then for the toy fairs to happen late January onwards. Brick On everyone !
  15. No, but there is a difference between just suggesting an idea to actually designing, customising, building, photographing, etc., a project idea yourself that was the point I was aiming for. Look at Dimensions - Portals, Wizard Of Oz, etc., all 10K rejected's yet they make the video game with matching mini builds and minifigs.......I wonder what those 'Cuusoo/Ideas' project posters think about that, they do the ground work and Lego takes the spoils. I personally don't care if any of my projects don't really make it, though it would be nice to see some city style ideas make the cut for a change and if Lego thinks even one of my set ideas even in part only is good for them to use so be it - I would consider it my part in creating a better Lego City theme for everyone. For me being on Ideas is like being on EB here, it's for the glory of the brick and for making friends within the Lego world. Brick On everyone !
  16. I'm developing the opinion that Lego are using Ideas as a launch pad for their so-called OWN ideas for sets and themes ! And if things don't get to 10K or they get rejected one way.......then they'll take it another without having to pay a red cent to the original designer/idea provider.
  17. FNAF could be done like many of the fan created videos where there is no serious stuff going on if you know what I mean more comical like Regular Show.
  18. From those tiny images the best city set will be the garbage truck, but the handiest will be the Octan rally truck with the new tool wheel.....cheaper way to buy tools.
  19. Awesome work there 'eurotrash', please build an interior and custom minifigs.......PLEASE ! Brick On !
  20. Excellent looking 'Filius Rucilo', I totally dig the interior ! Brick On Bake On !
  21. Many of us that post their projects on Ideas are a tad ticked off to the point of why bother but I'm not going to stop designing and posting projects as I feel it's only way to get Lego to develop different sets or even different themes/sub-themes. Really I couldn't understand why science adventures or international space station didn't make it since Lego have done similar sets in the Ideas world before ?
  22. Awesome work 'jansued' and our minds can wonder how he ended up in those cuffs......at least he fully clothed ! Brick On !
  23. Hmm, good spotting there 'mikibrick', we can see a fire ATV, what appears to be a small fire scene on a dock, a 4x4 SUV with huge tyres and an air ambulance looking a bit little our Aussie Flying Doctor Service. Of course, we all ready know about the little speed boat and rally car. Gee, Lego are really cheeky or really clever ?
  24. Awesome modular 'toorayay', only needs staff and customers in Macca's now ! Brick On !
  25. Thanks 'Fangy' for this awesome review of one of the best sets of the year, Lego have out done themselves with this set. So many minifigs, even if you are not a fan of the series - this one set gives you all the heroes just add the baddies of your choice. On my shopping list for sure along with the Brick Bank.....ouch next year I'm going to be even more broke !
