Very nice fire truck 'ParmBrick', you only need minifig fire fighters to be added to your creation. Brick On !
-
Neat modular design 'paostmo', Brick On with your Friends.
-
Ah, yeah I see the PR and yeah you have an issue with the BB......easy extend the road by another 32 stud road plate and put it between the DO and FB......you better hope Lego never do a police station eh ?
-
How about this police station which in my opinion could be Lego-ised.
-
It's an usual power winch, where you prime it by unwinding it, pushing a button on it and winds up again.
-
Looks nice so far, best to make room for the BB, DO and PR or are you going to start MOC'ing some buildings. Brick On 'lostdriveway' !
-
OMG, no one has picked it yet.......there is a statue in the bank managers office and has anyone ever heard of the film 'The Maltese Falcon'.......so our friendly bunch of modular designers are fans of classic 1940's movies eh ?
-
No, it has a envelope being typed on but I must say the simplest Lego piece of office equipment ever.
-
You are so correct 'BirdOPrey5', the only limit is our own imagination right ?
-
And you are not the only one, my son wants every character.
-
The time period must be around the mid to late 1930's, so the espresso machine and coin counter must have been delivered by the good Doctor ? Hey, that would be awesome to see the Tardis parked out the front of the bank !
-
Welcome 'Vinny', if you goggle search "Lego City 2016 set pictures" you might find them there.
-
Two things throw my 30's to 50's era into troubled waters.......the espresso machine and the digital coin counter ???? Yet, there are no computers ???? Espresso machines have been around for about a hundred years I believe, now a digital counter would be at least in the 1960's though the read out on the 1x2 slope brick is more 80's/90's. It's very confusing unlike the DO, PC,GE and FB you can see it's from the 30's to 50's period.
-
Ouch, at least us Aussie's only have to pay 249.99 for the BB.
-
My favourite part is the hose reel on the wall, that might be a handy trick to use in the future , Brick On 'Serpico' !
-
It would be easy to modify to take an ATM, but for sure this modular is just like the DO set in the past.....somewhere in and between the 1930's and 1950's. Note the typewriter on the desk, though correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the Town Hall have a computer in it ? So the modular line took a new route starting at the PC and PR - this 30's-50's time line ?
-
No, but give the poor tiger a break - my mum is in hospital, wife got some bad news and my business is on it's knees so perhaps I could be forgiven for not clicking.

As I write this I'm watching the possible reason why Nexo Knights is being done.......Wakfu, which is semi-sci-fi semi-fantasy super powers crazy stuff for kids. It must be a new marketing ploy by TV networks and toy companies, medieval fusion sci-fi to excite the kids ! Plus now I'm glad that this theme is in action forum now.
-
Dam it, you're right looking at the lower one I could see the leading edge of the dish.......man, we need high res pictures to see everything better.
-
And the one part everyone I think has missed which is brand new........1x2 curved jumper plate/tile........there is two of them on the clock on the corner of the building !
-
It just popped into my mind that the frontage of the bank would also fit as a department store. Though now those light bluey grey 1x2 bar pieces are going to be very expensive on Bricklink ! Gold is going to be cheaper than grey stone !
-
Hmm, I like the style of this bank building - it is so expandable in either width, depth or height. Now I might redesign my modular hardware store at some time in the future !
-
I agree, and also being say either 3 or 4 stud in diameter. But that's drifting off course though now that letter is the same letter that is in the wall safe/hiding place in the DO.......some wider story coming ?
