Thanks 'rriggs', I actually used a real hardware store in the heart of Sydney.....when I was on holidays there years ago I drove past it and I thought that one day I would make my own version of it. Brick On !

Fingers crossed, new service station last one 2007 (apart from the parking garage from 2012), toes crossed too. I wonder what surprise will be at Lego World again early next year, another big set like City Square or Town Square or another train ?

I totally dig the supermarket design, dam I might just have to start collecting Friend's sets again ! It's realistic especially with the shopping trolley and it's bay. The cupcake shop has the cute factor going for it too.

The good doctor is more popular now then even back in the 1980's even my 15 year old son is hooked, so I know we would buy everything DW. In fact if my old maths teacher is still alive he would buy the whole deal.......a Doctor Fan nut case - couldn't stop talking about it outside of maths or computers !

If this is true then a DW theme will be second to Star Wars in all the Lego themes. Aw, a CMF range eh ? I wonder which doctors will get the nod ?

I'm just waiting for Lego Ideas staff to approve this one but I might as well show it now. Since the feedback here on EB wasn't all that glowing on my previous builds I decided to ramp it up a bit while still trying to stick to maximise your minimums. That means using less to say or do more, trying to keep costs down because I'm going on and off so well off in the cash flow department. Anyway, I'll post a link to it's project page when it does pass. Brick On everyone !

Well according to Book Depository release date is 3/12/2015, funny and what is it to do with Lego - it's written for Lego plus what is next years sci-fi theme if any ?

I don't mind people being picky, now please take a look back at 2009 city corner set - this design of mine has more detail in it. I designed this one to have a low part count but still gives the impression of a hardware store with a twist of old school classic town. If you like please look back over my other store designs over the years to see I try all variations of structure and detail. Brick On !

The rubbish truck is nice except that is more a small skip than actual dumpster......when I buy mine I might just MOC some dumpsters to work with it.

It's about time Lego fix that life jacket issue, it totally doesn't look right at all. But the set is neat for the escapee minifig, a different kind of crook for a change.

Oh, boy.......okay so let me explain the purpose of this design and of course my mini one - take close look the first very much like the museum, bike shop, car dealer, Lego store and the second, the mini shop like the earlier bike shop or bank or in a way the earlier police/fire stations from the late 00's/early 10's. It's how a city set would be done, some simple construction with a few elements of complex detail. My next one is going to be a creator expert scale and I'm starting my research today on it. By the way, the original reason for the sign was not to rude, but I was working on the idea of no stickers on the first prototypes - people seem to like most of my work with stickers. I had to look up that word ! I didn't realise, but I guess one sees what one sees, Lego Ideas have no issue with the logo ! This is where the signs inspiration came from........
