@ Technicmad (Nathan Thom): That's a useful feature -- thanks for your excellent work! -
@ RoxYourBlox: Well done, and thanks for providing the LDD .lxf file! I'm sure it will be well received at Chicago's BrickWorld event (June 15-16, 2013). Designing this 19-sided Ferris Wheel must have been tricky. I like how you engineered the central hub using the math calculations that you posted with this Flickr image: 19^2=361 A circle divided by 19: 360/19=18.95 12-35-37 perfect triangle: tan^-1(12/35)=18.92 A pair of 3x12 triangular plates: 2*[tan^-1(2/12)]=18.92 A 6x6 round plate will fit perfectly within a 19-sided polygon of side length 1 (stud): 2*3.14*3=18.85

@ legomania94: If you mean FabioSali's Lego Technic Liebherr R964 discussed on this TechnicBRICKS "Excavators Hall of Fame" article, the curved chrome piece seems to be a 71075 "Brick, Round 1 x 1 90 Degree Elbow - No Stud" part, placed on a stack of chromed 71076 "Brick, Round 1 x 1 x 1 2/3" parts:

LEGO Human Size SEGWAY
DLuders replied to Burf2000's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It seems appropriate that a Lego Technic Segway could be built, since Dean Kamen (the inventor of the Segway) is one of the backers of the FIRST robotics competition (which offers the FIRST Lego League for young people): -
About #8279 4x4 X-Track
DLuders replied to Prcuvu's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
A single JPG image of that mystery 8279 Bumper Car can also be seen here (via Brickfactory.info). That particular Lego.com website shown on that page has been inactive for years. -

@ Alasdair Ryan: Widetent made an LDraw file of the Lego Technic 8295 Telehandler set -- download it here via SkyDrive. -

Nice MOC! Did you have to "cannibalize" the parts off of your Lego Technic Wheelchair to build this? -

@ Maaboo35: This Bricklink catalog webpage contains all of the Lego Technic shock absorbers -- pick out one that will fit your model. -

How about a Meyers Manx? Its lightweight body would not weigh down your chassis, and you can still do drifts:- 28 replies

For those with a GoPro, see this previous Eurobricks topic about possible Lego mounting options.

4x4 Trial SUV
DLuders replied to 1nxtmonster's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Nice MOC, but with the tall greenhouse the vehicle looks more like a Land Rover than a FJ or 4Runner: -

Better keep a night light on, since we're going to get you, Jernej! -
@ Phoxtane: Have you seen some of the PanoBots on Philo's "Lego Accessories for Photography" webpage? Perhaps you could create similar versions using modern Lego Technic Liftarms instead of Technic Bricks. Also, check out his Panoramic Photography and Photo Gallery to see some nice art.

@ SteveNesta: What a beast! I hope you have five hands to simultaneously operate all of those Power Functions remotes!

Here is a whimsical render of a Lego 9398 4x4 Crawler atop the Olé Kirk's House (set 4000007). How's that for an obstacle! The render was done by Martin Hronský (Hrontos on Eurobricks), the author of the LDD2PovRay program used here. Olé Kirk is the original founder of the Lego brand. @ pint14: According to BrickPicker, the Lego Technic 8445 Indy Storm set originally sold for $39.99 in the year 1999, and it averages around USD $61 today. So yes, paying 20 Euros for a used 8445 is a good deal! -
Your Best Technic Bargains
DLuders replied to Kumbbl's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Maybe you can "score" some good Lego Technic bargains on the newly-released Bricktrader.net Lego auction site.... -
@ legomania94: Eurobricks uses ENGLISH for its posts, not Italian. You should use Google Translate (like I just had to do) to translate your thoughts: "to the bottom it says 6 blocks 12 and 14 of those are used to make the outline of the track! but in the instructions of jurgen there are those from 11 to 12 and no! while in the list you gave me you got those 12 and 14! so do not understand!to the bottom it says 6 blocks 12 and 14 of those are used to make the outline of the track! but in the instructions of jurgen there are those from 11 to 12 and no! while in the list you gave me you got those 12 and 14! so do not understand!"
