    Thanks for the video reviews, Anio! I like both the 2H2013 42008 Service Truck and the 42009 Mobile Crane Mk II sets -- they are very fine models that would be a great addition to a Lego Technic fan's collection. Now, one just has to wait ~2 months before they are widely available....

Designing this 19-sided Ferris Wheel must have been tricky. I like how you engineered the central hub using the math calculations that you posted with this Flickr image: 19^2=361 A circle divided by 19: 360/19=18.95 12-35-37 perfect triangle: tan^-1(12/35)=18.92 A pair of 3x12 triangular plates: 2*[tan^-1(2/12)]=18.92 A 6x6 round plate will fit perfectly within a 19-sided polygon of side length 1 (stud): 2*3.14*3=18.85

    It seems appropriate that a Lego Technic Segway could be built, since Dean Kamen (the inventor of the Segway) is one of the backers of the FIRST robotics competition (which offers the FIRST Lego League for young people):

    You may get some good ideas from the many Tatras posted on the (inactive) BrickTruckTrial.com website. I would say using a Power Functions XL motor (ungeared) for each wheel will provide PLENTY of power.

    @ legomania94: I don't completely understand your question, but Lego Part 3710 is a 1x4 Plate and you want to know the Part Number for a 1x3 Plate? If so, it's 3623. What do you mean when you say that you "needed the code to find the stick end by 3"?

    @ Phoxtane: Have you seen some of the PanoBots on Philo's "Lego Accessories for Photography" webpage? Perhaps you could create similar versions using modern Lego Technic Liftarms instead of Technic Bricks. Also, check out his Panoramic Photography and Photo Gallery to see some nice art.

    Here is a whimsical render of a Lego 9398 4x4 Crawler atop the Olé Kirk's House (set 4000007). How's that for an obstacle! The render was done by Martin Hronský (Hrontos on Eurobricks), the author of the LDD2PovRay program used here. Olé Kirk is the original founder of the Lego brand.     @ pint14: According to BrickPicker, the Lego Technic 8445 Indy Storm set originally sold for $39.99 in the year 1999, and it averages around USD $61 today. So yes, paying 20 Euros for a used 8445 is a good deal!
