I really loved it, and I have quite the standard for comics, what made you think it was decent? The art is so different and unique that I felt like it was a breath of fresh air to see, and the story line was very good, though I thought it could do with a bit more explanation and when Kamala "changed" at the end, I couldn't help but feel her line was a bit cliche and I was wondering how

After going on Comicvine and re-reading Ms. Marvel #1, I've unfortunately realized that the Ms. Marvel series is going to be a 5 issue series with the arc being "metamorphosis". Can anyone confirm this or am I reading into this the wrong way? Perhaps the first story arc is metamorphosis and the title continues to release books monthly, which is what I'm hoping for.

My 1st MOC: 'Friends' Apartment Building and Bookstore (WIP)
Freddy Bricker replied to LukeWarmTea's topic in LEGO Town
'LWT' I suggest putting the link to this MOC (or WIP) in your profile so you never lose touch of it, it'd be great for you to always be able to look back at your profile and know that you created this. As for the interior, I love it! The bathroom alone looks amazing, though I do have one concern, is that the entrance (when closed) will lead directly to the bedroom, which might confuse some costumers into thinking it's a mattress store! Also, do you plan on putting any stairs on the inside, or will it all be accessible through the outside only? -
So I reply every 5 minutes, I need a life, but I'm breathing, which is fine. The reason I thought the show was starting to get really good and Team Rocket was starting to leave the comedic relief of a team they were to become a more revolutionized team with enough technology to choke a Lego Agent. Ash was also starting to act a bit "older" in the anime, but now he seems to act like the stereotypical character which makes most people avoid the show in the first place. Perhaps they got a new voice actor for him? If I recall, he was previously voiced by a young female (20's,-30's) but now seems to have a much lighter tone in his speech. And as for Bonnie, I just couldn't help but think of Dora when I saw her talk to Fletchling "Stealing is bad" at least it had a good message behind it, and now I'm anticipating Ash's meet with Serena even more, to see how she will impact the group's dynamic. This will be the 2nd time Pokemon had a 4 member team roster since May, Brock, and Max were traveling Hoenn with Ash. Also, I believe Dedenne will become one of Clemont's Pokemon, seeing as he is an electric type gym leader.

So again I woke up late for Saturdays Pokemon episode, but it was still worth it. The show is still rubbing off as a kiddy show now that everyone acts like their 5, but it's had some moments to make me go "ooh" and "agh I want a Sylveon". Early clips of the show in 2013 showed that we were expected to see Sylveon in the show, so I'm assuming she gets an early introduction (also assuming they'd make her a female, though Valerie had hers a male).

The LEGO Movie Sets News and Discussion
Freddy Bricker replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That would make an interesting set, and not the cheapest, so many small little details and pieces that would end up looking quite awkward, in my opinion. Though that's not to say I don't love all of the little details, the snorkeling pink bear at the front is (as well as most things related to Uni-Kitty) irresistible! Whoops, not like it matters, but it would appear I've made 800 posts.- 2,626 replies

Thanks for that Penkid, unfortunately no motorcycles in this movie.

I was looking for Marsha all day today! I know what the Mermaid tale piece feels like, and could not find one, so no Nicki Minaj for me I guess But I did manage to feel out the Panda suit guy, knowing who he was before hand, I'm really appreciating not giving up on the feel-bag method.

I was under the impression that Age of extinction was a reboot, under the same director.

On regards to the SDCC exclusive's, don't get your hopes up to seeing them in sets. Every SDCC 2011 Lego minifigure from the Superheroes line, was regarded as a "preview" figure. This means that it is previewing a minifigure to come in a set later on in the theme. Nolan Batman was a preview of the finalized version that we got in 2013, and Superman came out exactly as he did in at the Con. Azog wasn't an exclusive at all, he was not given any wording to say exclusive, he wasn't given by raffle, and to top it all off, he introduced a new mold. However, in 2012, Phoenix, Black suit Spiderman, Bizzaro, and Shazam were all raffled away as exclusives. In 2013, Amazing Spiderman 2 variant Spiderman, Spiderwoman, Black suit Superman and Green Arrow were all also given away as exclusives through raffles. These minifigures will remain exclusive to the Con and I have no idea why people use Azog as a light of hope for future exclusive minifigures, he was not regarded as exclusive and just because a minifigure was given at SDCC, does not mean they are exclusive. However I believe it's still possible that the raffle minifigures (the only real exclusive minifigures of the con) can appear later in different variants, Black suit Superman and Spiderman will more than likely remain exclusive, and now a New 52 variant of Green Arrow and Shazam are our only hopes of seeing them in sets. If Spiderwoman doesn't get a costume change, or if Jessica Drew doesn't give up the mantle, then don't get your hopes up for a Spiderwoman minifigure. And I've read many comments saying that we got an exclusive Jean Grey, no we didn't. We got an exclusive Phoenix, not Jean grey, it's still possible that we can get Jean Grey in her X-Men or Guardians suit in about 2 or 4 years. On regards to the Green Lantern figure, if the original reporter was right about assuming we would get him this year, it's possible his friend at Lego was right in saying we were supposed to, but he got pushed back to 2015, making our 2 rumors fit together like a puzzle piece.

My 1st MOC: 'Friends' Apartment Building and Bookstore (WIP)
Freddy Bricker replied to LukeWarmTea's topic in LEGO Town
Great MOC here LukeWarmTea, you've really done well with what ya got. I especially like the consistency in the build, it's not like everything is just slapped together, it's very unified. Also on regards to the colors, I agree that you could find more alternatives opening up your pallet a bit, and one quick question: Are you currently building this on LDD? It would make sense if you have, and perhaps you could even test some colors out with LDD before presenting us with the final model. -
Would you be interested in any DC comics? And tomorrow I'm getting Mrs. Marvel #1, the first Marvel comic I'm really excited about, can't wait!

Agreed, if we get the line great, if we don't, then let's hope the designers pull the sets off. Pricing, notability in blind packs, and 'waste' of new molds would all be problems if we had big figs in a CMF line. I don't think there's any way around it, not even the best debater could make sense out of Lego spending larger amounts of money on both big figs and new bags (I'm sure big fig's would rip the current size of bags we have) and if anything, we'd get a re-coloring of a big fig, not a new character altogether. I don't even think it would make sense, even in a hypothetical world.

What a great MOC! is it all Lego though? The eyes seem like actual teddy bear eyes, I do have a tendency to see all sorts of things though, so don't feel offended if I'm, wrong. Great job with the build, have out checked out Melan-E's Uni-Kitty MOC? It (as well as this) is all sorts of awesome! Though the teeth could be placed lower, it's the only thing I'm not really into about this MOC.

2014 CREATOR Houses Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Freddy Bricker replied to Rick's topic in LEGO Town
Oh boy how'd I miss this thread. The bike shop has some sort of architectural zap to it, it really does stand out, I've never been to Europe, and I've barely seen images of it, but this "reminds me" of Europe. I don't know what I meant by that, Freddy's been going cuckoo for a while, but I love this building((s) and when I see the alternate builds, I'm sure I'll be even more anticipated to buy it. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigure Accessories Wishlist
Freddy Bricker replied to lifeinplastic's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I would love a towel, a lunchbox, and some sort of watch. I would also love a headpiece for both males and females, in which the regular hair has a light-bulb attached to the top, I need my minifigures to start thinking. -
ianmrid, those are great! Though the face on Val Cooper looks like a decal, the figure still looks great! Also who is this Tigra, is she like Marvel's version of Cheetah?

On the subject of big figs in the CMF line, wouldn't they bump the bag up and make it pretty obvious who's inside, anyways?

It'd be great to have 4 sets, that leaves the door of possibility cracked just a little bit more, and raises hope for me that we may indeed see Nebula! I know she'll play a large role in the film, but now the chances of getting her are through the roof.

I don't think the original Transformers movies were terrible, and I wasn't a huge fan by any extent. I haven't watched anything from the Hub show, but I don't feel like I need to to know that Dino-Bots are great! Here's to hoping Arcee gets a scene in the movie, or any motorcycle for that matter, they always were the most interesting to me. Though she started off as a car right, in the 80's cartoon? Also, are there Transformers comics? I'll probably pick some up if they are (and are of quality).

Stopping at exactly 2 minutes in the video seems to indicate curves, but my eyes have deceived me in the past! On another note, I haven't been to Toy's 'R' Us in what seems to be ages, but is it true that we Americans have not yet gotten the sets, I think I read so a couple of pages back, my apologies for all the questions, this is what happens when you don't visit your store often.

LEGO Ultra Agents 2014
Freddy Bricker replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It would unfortunately appear that all of these villains look great, especially Terabyte, he himself seems to be among my most anticipated, along with Toxita, and Hurricane Heist appears to be a rather nice set as well, hope I don't procrastinate until 2015 to buy these, I am only now just ordering the Vampyre Castle this week as it is! -
I was wondering if anyone had ever been to or worked at a store that can help me with this: I really want certain minifigures and don't want most of the sets they come in, when going to a toy store, I notice that a lot of boxes are broken or ripped open and I was wondering if by any chance, store owners or managers keep these sets to sell or throw them out. In the case that they throw them out, do you think they'd be willing to let me have a peek at some broken boxes and keep a minifigure or two for my collection? I know I'd have to pay them something, but I think it'd be faster than bricklink and cheaper than buying a set that I know I don't want.

Really, I believe Fluminox's curves are very 'obvious', but perhaps her armor seems to be blocking her curves. Either that or I'm going crazy (probably the latter).

Speaking of Lava, do you mean a volcano type set, or just some lava floating randomly? Much appreciated and hopefully we get Nebula, I'd just love to own my own Nebula figure.
