  1. I don't know if it's too late to ask this but does anyone know if we will get a 6th Marvel set this year? I've asked this question frequently and its August so I'm starting to get a bit concerned. Anyways I also wanted to ask what time of year the winter wave or January wave of sets comes in. If the 4 announced Batman sets are scheduled to be released in January 2014, at what time will they really come out? Like the last 2 weeks of winter? A week before Christmas? And how long do we have until the summer 2012 wave of sets gets discontinued? I still need that Hulk set.
  2. Well Imdb has a page for a WW movie that's "in the making", they also have Shazam, Aquaman, Untitled Batman reboot, and an Iron Fist movie in the making (yes I know Iron Fist is Marvel). So it is possible WW is in the works, not saying it's legit but she has an Imdb page in the making, just putting that out there, but there is no release date, or any other information, I don't think they'd think twice about putting Kristen Stewart in there (I would hate WB if they did).
  3. I do believe Lego will give us F4 at some point, if and when they do, I'm expecting a $300 Galactus set with nothing but Galactus, maybe with a feature where his stomach can fit several bricks? So you can pretend he just ate the DBC or something, also all of the Fantastic 4 in their stretchy, invisible, and flame variants, along with the silver surfer, I know more figs would be demanded, but I'm fine with just the 5. Also I really wish Lego would start making like 20 (or more) sets for the theme. I don't want 1 Thor set, one Cap set, and so on. If they made 10 they could fit in 5 more sets before 2013, but I think it's too late for that, so I will keep wishing that 3 Thor sets an X-Mansion and a Fantastic four set could still be released this year, I will literally stop buying from the theme if they don't give at least 10 Marvel sets next year, as for DC I love it, but Lego made it pretty clear that it's not Lego DC superheroes, it's just another Lego batman, so anyways here is what my wishlist would be: X-Mansion $100 set with Mystic, Juggernaut, Magneto, and either Toad, Pyro, or Blob, along with Professor X, Jean Grey, Strom, Beast, Gambit, and Cyclops. Along the next few years, a cerebro, and X training room and possibly a brother hood of mutants meeting hall. A large sentinel set, and a $50 Hydra set with Viper, f2 Hydra workers, Wolverine, and Silver Samurai.
  4. I really want TLG to start making 20 sets for this theme, that way this year we could have 5 more Marvel sets, the 3 Thor sets and 2 X-Men sets, or 1 X-Men and 1 F4. In 2014 they could make 3 Captain America sets, 2 Ultimate Spiderman and 2 Amazing Spiderman, Rhino and Electro are Spidey's villains for the next movie, and we are currently missing White Tiger and Power man from USM, so they could distribute those in sets very easily. That makes 7 sets, the last 3 could even be Guardians of the Galaxy, and I know I've said all of this before but seeing that commercial really makes me mad TLG doesn't make much X-Men sets, so please don't tell me "you already said that" because I don't want that Jean Grey, Storm, Beast or Cyclops, I NEED them.
  5. This is VERY late but I would love to see: Supergirl, a better Green Arrow, Black Canary, Martian Manhunter, and Cyborg, Batgirl, Nightwing, Booster Gold (SDCC maybe?), Shazam, and Hourman. Killer Croc, Gorilla Grodd and Darkseid as big figs (I don't know why GG wasn't a big fig in the game whereas Kingpin got a big fig, seriously?) Captain Cold, a better Bizzaro, cheetah, Giganta as a buildable fig, like 6 inches tall, Black Adam, Killer Moth, Mongul as a big fig, Apocalypse, and Solomun Grundy as big figs, Sinestro, Star Sapphire, a WAY better GL, and maybe even Kilowag.. From Marvel I expect: White Tiger, Power-Man, Black Cat, MJ, Gwen Stacy, Rhino, a comic Green Goblin. A Juggernaut big fig, Mystic, Jean Grey, Prof. X, Cyclops, Gambit, and Toad (with a Gollum like mold), the F4, a $300 Galactus set, a new Dr. Doom, Mrs Marvel, Silver Sufer, Silver Samurai, Viper, the Vision, and lastly I know it's odd but Squirrel Girl, I don't buy Chima so if Lego could do a SDCC of Squirrel Girl (I'm going next year) I could get a good piece and a "unique" figure.
  6. If they make 10 sets than they can, Lego currently only produces 12 sets for the line (6 DC and 6 Marvel) but if they started making 10 Dc and 10 Marvel then they could make: 3 Thor 2 sets along with 2 X-Men (or Fantastic Four) sets. Then in 2014 they could make 3 Captain America 2 sets, and 2 Amazing Spiderman 2 and 2 Ultimate Spiderman sets (there will be 2 ASM2 villains and currently we are missing 2 USM heroes, so 2 sets for each would be great). That right there is 7 sets, which leaves room for 3 more sets, on average Superhero movie's get 3 sets, ( Man of steel got 3, so did Iron man, and Avengers got 4), so with 3 empty slots available, Lego can either give us 3 GOTG sets, or X-Men, F4, etc. IF Lego were to make 10 sets then they would be able to cover everything in 2014, but with 6 sets, you can expect very little from them, which is why I really want them to make 10 sets, I think it would benefit them and their customers very much.
  7. Honestly, I'm hoping for more than just Killer Moth and Man-Bat. This year alone we got: Scarecrow, the penguin, Aquaman, Lois Lane, Faora, General Zod, Gordon, and Mr. Freeze. That's 7 new figs (as scarecrow, the penguin and Mr. Freeze were only available in the batman theme), we also got a new artic batman, TDKR, and black winged batman figs. We got a Harleen Quinzel AND a new Robin, I don't think I have the right to judge these sets right now, I really don't but I have anyways. I think my opinions will change later on, but we need more than just the flash to wow us in the wave. However, and I know you will all hate that I even bothered to say this but I really do hope the 4 rumoured sets will be put in with the 6 per-existing ones. You know, so this year we get 10 sets and in 2014 lego can redeem themselves. But that would mean a lot of work that just won't happen. But am I the only one that hopes since we already have 6 sets, and 4 are rumoured, that Lego just gives us 10 sets so we can have more variety in 2014? I know that would let them open up to more realms in in this theme. But I was just thinking out loud there. However I do hope pictures and announcements are made later, I like the suspense and surprises, it pumps up my wishing gas (I know sounded strange)
  8. I don't think anyone is as disappointed as I am. I saw the 2011 line, and thought it was great, a new Darth Maul, a lot of well deserved episode 1 and CW sets, and great figs. Then in 2012 the OT sets were above and beyond (have you seen Jabba's palace?) and then 2013 topped it all off. The episode 2 sets were well designed and had a great roster of figs, and the Rancor pit felt too good to be true as well. I thought it couldn't get any better, and I was right. First off the box design is horrible, I would love if they bailed, and kept this years design (but that's not going to happen), and the sets themselves are all repeats, I love that new Chewbacca and Tarfull but the sets they come in are scary looking bad. Those mini sets with the one fig in them (X-wing, tie etc.) suck on such a scale. And all of these bad sets one would think we'd get a new cloud city. Seriously where is cloud city? And an updated Boga and Luminara would be nice. I also saw the set list for DC and think that those sets sound terrible as well, and more police from city. I think Lego misunderstood our calls for more clones and ended up making this disaster, so 2014 looks like a bad year for Lego all around, not just star wars. The awful mixel's line, more police from city, the repeat SH line, and now this. Lego is a great company with so much potential, so what's going on?
  9. That Red Skull fig is great, hope to see one like it in the near future.
  10. Sorry for all the confusion and for taking up so much comment space you guys, this was just a very confusing topic, taht's all.
  11. So this confirms it. I thought I wouldn't like the line and I was right, mainly just Batman who I have enough of already, thanks for the info and hope to see pictures soon, but I probably won't be interested in these sets if the minifig lineup is true.
  12. What's all this talk about a nightwing and a robin fig? May I ask how you got that information about Robin appearing in the Man-Bat set? I read like 15 comments about robin and nightwing looking alike in these sets and I'm like how do you know that? Sorry for the bother but it seems like everyone knows something I don't know
  13. I agree, but with Marvel coming out with at least 3 movies a year, and like 5 shows, I would doubt seeing an X-Man set, whoever, I can still dream that Jean Grey we saw in the Lego Marvel superheroes game will appear in a set, but right now that's just a dream.
  14. Do you think that Falcon on the cover of Avengers Assemble #1 could be the same Falcon we'll be getting in 2014? Anyways I'm definitely getting at least five of those comics, now the hard part would be to choose which one's without getting all of them.
  15. The Man-Bat set seems to be the only would-be promising set from the lineup if they didn't already do the Monster Fighter sets. These sets sound terrible, unless one of them contain batgirl, or nightwing, then I won't be getting any of them. As for the other 2 "mystery" sets, unless they are a sole superman (or other Justice league member), then I won't be getting them either. It really does seem like we will never get rid of Batman, every wave will be Batman (x5). Sort of like City and police, we can never get rid of them. I guess kids don't like anything other than the bats. Wait, what's all this talk about Nightwing being in a set and a helicopter, were pictures leaked? I might just get one of these sets if the talk about nightwing is true.
  16. So I just want to start off by saying that this is my first topic on eurobricks and that I am a new user (I started like 2 weeks ago) and I am an American, and I'm excited to hear what you have to say about my topic. Now I want to start off by saying that in 2014 alone the following 5 Marvel movies will be released: Amazing Spiderman 2, X-Men days of future past, Captain America: The winter soldier, Guardians of the galaxy, and Black Panther, with that being said I also want to remind you that every year Lego can only make 6 Marvel sets. So I just wanted to ask you guys how you think this will affect the Lego sets, obviously the movies will be released at different times, which means that some of these movies will get sets in 2015, but with 5 movies, Lego can only make 6 sets, and a Green Goblin big fig was already promised to be released in a set in 2014 as well. We also have no information on the 6th 2013 Marvel set, and Thor 2: The dark world is surely going to need a couple sets. So what do you think? Will Lego pass on making sets on some of these movies? If you think they would, what movies would they pass on? X-Men? Guardians of the galaxy? I believe that the SDCC fig of Spiderman in his AMS2 variant hints at ASM2 sets. Also they discontinued the Captain America's avenging cycle set which mean Lego may be preparing for sets in 2014. I would personally love it if Lego did not do X-Men Days of future past sets. Why? Well Lego only has 1 comic book based set in Marvel (being wolverines chopper showdown), and other than that only 5 mini-figs got comic book variants. The Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, the Phoenix, and Spiderwoman. When you make a theme that revolves around comic book's I find it to be a bad "move" to make so many sets not based on comic books. I would love another comic book based X-Men set. How about you? Sorry for the length of this article, but I just wanted to get that all off of my chest! Also I know the title was very misleading and that I talked (well typed) mostly about movies in this articles, but oh well.
  17. Everyone's making so much fuss about this set I feel like I'm the only one who's thinking about Marvel right now. The 6th 2013 Marvel set has had no word so far which is kind of bugging me considering the release Thor 2 coming out this year. Anyways, Guardians of the Galaxy, Captain America 2, X-Men Days of future past, and the Amazing Spiderman movies are coming out next year, Lego only makes 6 Marvel sets, can someone please explain to me what that means for Marvel 2014? 4 movies with only 6 sets, will they pass out on X-Men and Guardians of the galaxy? I honestly believe Marvel needs more comic book based sets, so I would love it if Lego passed on X-Men, but does anyone have any idea about it? Anyways I really want the Flash but find this set mediocre, I think the batmobile looks terrible and I overall hate dragsters, so I guess I won't be getting the flash :(
  18. I will definitely want to pick up the Gingerbread Man and Holiday Elf, I didn't get the series 8 Santa so I guess I'll pay more for him. I must say I really do like the dinner waitress more than I thought I would, I own the series 8 pirate captain so getting the Tiki warrior is a must. Quite frankly I will have to search to get these figures, I wish Lego would just make things easier.
