Honestly, I'm getting the feeling that we will be getting Green Lantern next year. He was given away as a promo fig in 2011. That was basically a confirmation of what was to come. I'm sure we'll get him, probably in another Batman set, without Sinestro, and without any constructs (unless Lego makes translucent pieces just for him, unlikely since we haven't even gotten leg printing on half of thse superhero figures, let alone several molded pieces). I'm sure he'll come, this years LED light is probably the same design we'll get him in. But based on previous releases, my above description (thrown into a Batman set with only his ring, and the same design as this years LED light) is how I think we'll get him, which means he'll probably have leg printing, which is also nice. Who knows, Lego may just surprise us all with a Sinestro. Point is, all signs are pointing to us getting one.

I agree, their not patient enough to handle these films. The DCCU will die at the hands of Warner Bros.

Beyonce ft. J.Cole - Party Not the kind of music I regurlarly listen to, but I like it. Also recently rediscovered my love for Neon Trees "Animal". Boy does that song bring up memories. Memories from about 3 years ago, but still worth rejoicing nonetheless.

Lego Loosing the Ball with Superheroes Sets
Freddy Bricker replied to Tom Jurassic's topic in LEGO Licensed
Aw shucks But seriously, why put so much effort into a controversial line of figures that disrupt us fans, and put out sets like the Spider-Trike on shelves worldwide? It's time Lego start prioritizing themselves with this theme. -
So Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson is seriously hinting at a possible future role in a DC film. He's thrown out names like Black Adam and John Stewart, and then said "Green Lantern's been made and stamped". This is leading me to believe that Warner Bros has already cast a GL, hopefully Denzel Washington. If these tweets are anything to go by, we very well may see Black Adam in a future film.

Wow, what great talent here. Do you think we'll be able to give suggestions for future ilustrations in this thread? I'll be sure to keep up with the art in the future!

Thanks for the images, I'm unsure if I like what I see or not, but something about it yells "buy me". Eh., I'll be thinking about this one.

Great job eurotrash, do you ever plan on making instructions for this? It looks wonderful, definitely something I'd want in my city.

Just a minor suggestion, but why not count the current Bank Tuck Heist Spidey set and the old one? Both include Spidey, Doc Ock and a bank truck.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Freddy Bricker replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Thanks for the link Lobot. I really hope the new Falcon isn't unrealistically large, whenever it is released. I also hope Leia gets her buns and minor print differences, since I really liked the 2011 incarnation of the figure. -

I for one actually liked the Phoenix's expression, if anything, her all white eyes and angry face are must-stays. Then again, I could say the same about her printing. Perhaps these mixed feeling are perfect examples of why TLG should drop the SDCC act? I don't mind them too much, though GA was a finger to us all. If anything, Lego should try giving this quality printing to the figs we can all get and stop spoiling those damn scalpers. -
What Video Game(s) are you playing?
Freddy Bricker replied to Lego Spy's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Agreed, leveling up in Johto was'a challenge, but only really in the beginning. So I recently rediscovered the Sims, I'll let you all know just how terrible my Avatar is in that game! I love having my Sims go homeless. -

Shoo. Go on and fly to work for Lego! Obsidian, you bring up some great points, and I'm sure these are all challenges the Lego group face with each set. But the truth is that when it comes to Batman, there aren't very many more things they can do to please some of us. Yes I know it's hard for them, and I hope Lego gets the most success from this theme. But truth be told, they lost me with these DC sets, hopefully next year they pick up the pace, but for now, I won't be buying their sets out of pity. -
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2014 Rumors & Discussion

Thanks for all of the great reviews J2g. I'm surprised every single cartoon based set introduced a new mold. I am now officially determined to own any and all of the sets based on the cartoon. They all seem to be giving us our moneys worth. Also really digging that Karai, great set, great minifigures, and to top it all off, a great price too. -

I completely agree. Even though we can still get Jean herself later on, I would have loved to own the Phoenix suit myself. It's how I reckognize the character. So long as we don't get her as a Guarian of the Galaxy, then I'm fine -
These designs don't look horrible, just not good. I'm sure they'll be great when finalized and edited, though.

We never got an exclusive Jean Grey. We got an official Phoenix. We can always get 90's costume Jean Grey in a set, just not the Phoenix. Even then, I'm sure we could get Dark Phoenix in a set, I just don't see it happening any time soon. -

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Freddy Bricker replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I'd like to have some kind of confirmation on the rumored Falcon. I need to know whether or not to get the old one or save up for a possible new one. Though with all of these comments, I think I'll save the money for a possible one in the future -
Ah my mistake, but I knew it slipped smewhere. Freddy ain't completely crazy.
-
Didn't they let it slip that if this line sold well, that more sets were to come? I remember that being hinted in the Press Release. If that is so, and memory does serve me right, then we may not all be dreaming for long! That is of course if the Simpsons House getting sold out at Shop at Home is any indication.
-
Not today, but about 2 weeks ago I bought the Creator Family House. I was extremely pleased with the set, and was teased with seeing only 4 Grand Emporiums left in stock.

Lego Loosing the Ball with Superheroes Sets

I share the same resentments with most of you. I don't care why Lego keeps releasing Batman sets, or why they're always dumb vehicles. The fact of the matter is that they're doing it. Why they do so, I don't care. It's saving me money, and apart from the Steamroller, I'm getting none of this years set's. And even then, I'm debating whether or not Batgirl (who I love a lot) is worth me buying a $50 set when I have a lot (emphasize "a lot" ) to catch up on Lego-wise. As for Marvel, I thought USM would have more to offer us, but it would appear not. The Spider-Trike? What's next, the Spidey-Day Care? Apart from the dumbSpidey sets, I just really want my own X-Men team, and the more I look at the X-Jet, the worse I feel about their appearance in Lego. Just diversify DC and improve the builds for Marvel, come on now Lego, just do it. Though I know it's not that easy, why did it take most 3 years to get a still incomplete Justice League? I'm terrified to think about just how long it would take them to release the Teen Titans My poor Robin will never get to meet Cyborg or date Starfire. *Sigh* -
Yeah, I really did love the first one. I'll have to go sometime this week to pick that up. Also, thnks for the advise Greeny, I'll be all caught up with Spiderman b the end of the month!
