Great moc! I especially like the way you had Qui Gon Jinn cut through the wall, the details were just great. Oh we mind all right

What was the last movie you watched?
Freddy Bricker replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
Just saw "up" for the 3rd time in my life. I must say this movie is probably and will probably be the best animated movie I've ever seen. I've always felt like actual adventure was a huge miss in my (and everyone else's life). So to see this man who waited years to go with his wife to South America, and have her die before he goes on all these crazy adventures, was just sad, uplifting, funny, and everything you could ask for in a movie. I especially loved the ending, and the exact place his house landed was just, just, -
While I would gladly except all those minifigures to my collection, I must say that some don't even have a chance. However Jean Grey and Storm are practically begging to be made (what with their popularity and all). And Mystique has a pretty good chance too. I could see Polaris and Psylocke being made as SDCC exclusives, and maybe Rogue if the theme gets renewed for another 5=10 years. Sadly that would still leave a huge gap for possible minifig's. which is all the more reason the Lego group need to continue this line.

Thanks, Lego did do a good job of pulling me in, however when I looked up all the Hero Factory sets on Brickset to find out on what I missed out on, well let's just say I wish I had gotten into this theme sooner.

What do you mean? As in 2 invites or are the keys you are referring to something else? I get the feeling TLG went to websites like Eurobricks and Brickset for the emails for the invites, would be nice to know our chances. So do you mean 2 keys as in 2 invites? Because that to me implies Eurobricks is the main place where the emails are being sent out.

Now I know these sets have been discussed already, but when clicking on the link and going on "Ninjago 2014" there's a post that says:Nya LEGO Ninjago set för 2014. I don't know what to think of it, but it gets me very very excited!!! I try not to think much of it, but what does it mean?!?! Or has this already been discussed? That would drive me even crazier.

I should have cleared this up earlier, but I don't follow Hero Factory. It was the introduction of minifigures (specifically Stormer) that got me into this theme. There is nothing that would make this year any different, my knowledge was just... off.

Do we know yet if Hero Factory will get a summer wave? Most themes (well just city and star wars) usually get summer waves, is Hero Factory one of those "one-wave-a-year" themes? I think these figs and machines would be suitable for a building.

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Freddy Bricker replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Well said vriverajr3. But can't we all just agree that Lego sucks and move onto Mega Bloks? These microfighters may not be the best looking sets, and neither are the rest of the wave compared to 2012 and 2013's January waves, I think that is a shared opinion. Honestly, as long as the summer wave gives us something remotely similar to cloud city, I'm good. -
Yikes, I haven't to this day bought a scratched up collectible minifigure. However some of my minifigures (specifically the Viking Woman, the Galaxy Patrol, and the Downhill skier) have gotten scratched up faces, only the skier's face got replaced and that's because I had a duplicate of hers. I can see why TLG don't want to replace parts, I mean... the figs must stay as collectible and pure as they once were right?

LEGO Star Wars 2014 Pictures and Rumors
Freddy Bricker replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You do bring up a good point there, the target age range are definitely loving these sets, I can't say the same, but I'm not the target audience. However I must disagree with your point about: "you're not a kid right now and you cant just assume that you would have had an adult mindset as a kid and not like these sets". I know that when I was a kid I loved things being to scale, and thought it was strange buying action figures because they were usually the same size as the cars they came in. Maybe he was referring to the way he thought as a child, and just stated it as if he were assuming how he would think as a child. My point being this: we are not the targeted age range but that doesn't mean we would like it even if we were. These microfighters are not viewed as sets in my opinion, and I think they would just take up space. But that's just my opinion, saying otherwise would make me sound just..... silly -
Thanks for the list Leo, I can't say the names sound great yet, but I assume they will be crossing out Darkness falls, it seems like a spoiler, that and there is already a horror movie named Darkness falls. Can't wait to see what the plot will be, and if/how Wonder Woman will be portrayed.

Future of the CMF - Poll
Freddy Bricker replied to Itaria No Shintaku's topic in Special LEGO Themes
While I do hope they revert to the regular series, as there are way too many possible figs for them to do, I still sort of hope we get "themed" series every now and then. My only would be problem with 2014 is that there is no regular series. I guess it's made up for though, with all the great figures in series 12. And regarding the question about how it'll be handled, I think it will go back to series 12 since (yes I'm bringing it up again) there is no clear indication that TLM series is indeed, series 12. But I can see why they would revert to series 1, as skipping a whole year of regular figs will make newcomers to the theme ask "why is this called series 12, it JUST started getting a numbering system"? And I like to think Lego don't like confusing their customers, but they have before, so only time will tell (hey time, ya gonna squeel yet?) -

Thanks for that pic, but not to be annoying, where is the ship? I looked everywhere and all I see is Alien Conquest and Star Wars. Sorry for the questions, it's just.... not there (through my eyes that is) -

Thank you for those set descriptions Piranha! It's nice to have a confirmation that Taskmaster is the "unidentified" villain in the lab set. Here's to hoping the designs are as good as the descriptions, except for the bank truck set, but a classic Doc Ock is enough to recuperate for a bad set.

2013 LEGO Pirates rumors and discussion.
Freddy Bricker replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Pirates
Can any of you please zoom in on the picture or point the ship out? Anything in the "Far back" is not visible to me, thanks in advance. -
Thanks just2good, here's to hoping it'll be worth the wait (not that it's much of a wait anyways though). Looking forward to it!

Is there something Ned isn't telling us? And is there a reason why the house hasn't been revealed yet? Isn't it a January release? Or is it planned to be released the same time as the minifigure series.
