  1. Wait, the house was in the retailers catalog?
  2. Hello there BrickQueen and welcome to eurobricks! I suggest going on the "lady's stand up" thread and officially registering yourself as a Lady, hope to see you here again.
  3. Hey you all, just the other day I was scanning through the licensed forum and decided to go back all the way to page 76, the very first page of this entire forum. On one of the threads I clicked on, someone was talking about how he didn't like the Harry Potter figs going fleshie, and made some kind of reference to the simpsons and Lego. Then the founder admin (Jipay) said this: " Lol I like this idea of LEGO simpsons... But because of the theme they are talking about in the simpsons (volence, weapons, debts, etc...) I do'nt think this correspond to the idea Lego is having of their toys :( " I just thought it was really funny how one of the very posts of this forum was about how we would never get Lego simpsons, and here we are, 9 years later and it's becoming a reality!! Just thought it was something nice/ironic to share. Haha
  4. We all seem so sure we're getting X-Men sets, are Guardians of the Galaxy still in the picture?
  5. I'm holding out hope that the sets will be comic based. I'm also holding out hope that we'll even get X-Men sets. On another note, are we getting pictures this month or am I asking for too much? The Hobbit images got out, and we had 3 different minifigs revealed (Joker, Nightwing, and Batgirl) does that mean we are likely to get set images since we've had so many leaks? I ask because I'm pretty sure mid-October is gone, and we're almost in November... it'd be nice to get some pics.
  6. Well I want to feel bad for him, but who would buy an Azog for that much money? He required a new mold and I think we all know TLG wouldn't make a new mold for an SDCC exclusive, in fact I think that Azog at SDCC was a clear sign we'd get him later, with his new mold and all. Oh well, hiss loss is not mine.
  7. I'm so excited now, to see pictures and all. So Sir Von Lego, you said the Electro set was not finished in the picture, do you mean the set itself was not fully built in the picture, and is there any possibility of you putting that picture up here?
  8. Can I agree? Haha I must concur, these minifigs sound awesome, but the constant vehicles are a kill. A buzz kill. Hello there, just a quick question: did you get to see if Spiderman's "lover" was blond or a red head? Or if she were in an all white costume? Thanks anyways
  9. Well I believe I have 2 good reasons as to why Lego would, and wouldn't put GL in a set. In 2012, Lego introduced 4 hero's to the DC side of the theme, Superman, Batman, Robin, and Wonder Woman. However Batman and Robin already appeared in the Batman line, and superman as NYCC exclusive (it may have been SDCC). This means in 2012, WW was our only "new" hero. This year, Superman, Batman, Robin, and Aquaman appeared in sets. Again, this means Aquaman was our only "new" hero. And now here are two reasons why I believe we would/wouldn't get a GL in a set next year: 1. Lego seems to release 4 hero's in a year for the DC side of the line, in 2012 it was Superman, Batman, Robin, and Wonder Woman. In 2013 it was Superman, Batman, Robin, and Aquaman. Next year we have confirmed (leaked) Batman, Nightwing, Batgirl, and the Flash. This means we already have our 4 annual hero's, Lego is more than likely not going to give us 1 new hero for the theme, unless they start changing how it's made. Also, as I've said above we only really get 1 "new" hero in a year. Next year we are getting Batgirl and the Flash. This means we are already getting 2 new figures, it's more than likely we won't get a 3rd. however Batgirl was released and then cancelled as a micro-figure, this could sort-of make Flash the only "new figure" and Lego more than likely wouldn't make a 2nd new figure. 2. A micro-figure is not a minifigure, in this sense Batgirl was never really made, and that would mean Lego is giving us 2 new hero's next year. If Lego would increase the amount of new figures released in a year from 1-2, then what would stop them from releasing 3? It is possible Lego will spoil us next year and give us 5 hero's next year (Batman, Batgirl, Nightwing, the Flash , and Green Lantern) 3 of these have been released before (Batman, Nightwing, and Green Lantern) while 2 would be new (Batgirl and the Flash). So in a sense, Lego would not be increasing the "new" fig number from 1-3, but merely be making 2 new hero's. I kind-of contradicted myself when I said earlier "If Lego would increase the amount of new figures released in a year from 1-2, then what would stop them from releasing 3?" because they would basically be releasing 2 new hero's and since Green Lantern has already been released, he wouldn't be breaking any of Lego's habits. I must concur that my explanation was difficult to understand, but I hope someone understood it, but basically my 2 points are: Lego only releases 4 hero's a year and we already have confirmed images of 4, so a 5th would be a curveball. Lego is already making 2 new hero's for next years wave, so adding a 5th that was already release wouldn't do much to them. All in all, everything we know from Lego goes to support both my statements. No matter what they do though, it will be unexpected (or at least for me)
  10. Hello to all. According to my memory I haven't posted here before, but thought I could add something I don't recall being brought up before. I've seen many good purist Mysterio's here, but I've noticed something that could really improve these figs. Sandy Cheeks bowl piece from spongebob squarepants has come out in a clear hue about 2 years back. This out on a clear minifig head (which I've seen used often for Mysterio) can make the fig resemble his appearance in the Marvel videogame. Just a thought I'd hope you enjoy
  11. Maybe the brick-built character was Mysterio? I'm almost 99% sure it's MODOK, but Mysterio would definitely be the runner-up. I say so because Myterio's head is round and sort-of large. Couldn't Sandy cheeks bowl piece be used for Mysterio? Also, considering how much these sets do resemble last/this years sets, I'm think the big headed character could be Loki. I may be way off, but a lab with 4 minifigs, 1 being Hulk, the other being Thor, and a "black hooded figure", I can't help thinking the big head is Loki, and that maybe Hawkeye wore a hood in preliminary images. The captain America set released this year had cap vs. 2 alien soldiers, however his description said they wore olive green, and the soldiers were a peachish color in my opinion. No where near green. Maybe we will get MODOK. Which would make this wave a lot more interesting.
  12. Are we sure about that? Seems like Lego is passing the 6 set limit.
  13. I hope I'm not alone when I say I'll be saving a lot of money next year. That is only the anger speaking of course. I must agree with previous comments, why miss out on such good Thor character designs, and Captain America figs for a show that is worse than USM! There I go again, ranting before I see pics, but can you blame me? I too, like Moon_Knight think there is still a chance they just slapped on the Avengers logo for the sets. As far as I am concerned though, nothing for Marvel next year. I feel like my Marvel collection has almost no females. They really could have changed that with Thor sets. But no. I hope I don't get in trouble for ranting on and not saying anything constructive, my apologies to any of you who read this long rant. I'll try to hold myself back next time
  14. I just want an actual lego city. Not police stations, fire stations, and A MILLION cars. That being said I believe that releasing a "mega mall" different to the grand emporium, a tall Orthanc-like building with strong details and interior, along with a couple of apartments would be nice. Along with the modular buildings and creator houses, I think this would succeed at making a city. I do however think it will fail at sells, seeing as how children wouldn't find much fun with an apartment building and wouldn't spend $300 for a building that won't explode.
  15. Both a pilot and a football player have been done before, in series 2 and 8 respectively. I for one think Lego should release a tin-man, a "country girl", and a lion suit guy with a scared expression. This way, I can have a full Wizard of Oz collection. I would also be very supportive of a principal, teacher, student kind of thing. I've always wanted Lego to release a modular school, and if that won't happen then a good batch of minifigs would suffice. I think I'll post more detailed descriptions of these "imaginary mini's" later.
  16. The Parisian restaurant modular building was revealed today. High resolution images were sent to all AFOL sites (including eurobricks). In other words, no superheroes news.
  17. Haha alright. I'm on edge with the Marvel stuff though, no news on that, surely I don't know how this all works (it's my first year keeping track of this kind of stuff). Any who on that Manbat situation, I'd say Lego will release it exactly as the monster fighters one with VERY good printing. I don't see how they would release him without making sort of want-able. And I also believe that white Jedi hood could very much be used for Anarchy. He is said to be the main villain of the show, and Lego would want to touch on that if they'll make anything for the show (it would give them more reason to make more Batman, which we know they love).
  18. I'm getting a bit un-patient with pics, are we even sure they'll come up this month or is that just speculation? Pardon the intolerance.
  19. I for one don't think Batgirl should be put in the Man-Bat set, I feel like she would be more fitting in the steamroller (that, and I really don't want Man-Bat) yet this year Lego put Aquaman in the $25 set so I wouldn't be surprised if she were the new fig put in the Man-Bat set. I actually think your list is spot on.
  20. Thank you for that strangely and as long as I know she might get leg printing, I'm good. Oh and by the way, I had my name changed, I am no longer STSH2013Lego, I am now Freddy Bricker. I don't want to cause this thread to go off topic, I just wanted to let you all know who I am and why you no longer saw the old name
  21. I see. But my question is CAN she still get leg printing or is this the complete final design? The boots were exactly what I was talking about. Wonder Woman would have looked very bad without her leg printing, and batgirls leg printing is just as essential. It's not like Robin where leg printing is not required. Batgirl is another case though. And a quick rehash of a question I had earlier, at what time in October do we get the leaks?
  22. Wanting to know how prelimanry pictures work...

  23. If you go on the "joker" brickepedia page, it should be there. And does anyone know if these are final design or not? I feel like batgirl is a bit incomplete. *cough* leg printing *cough*
  24. Thanks, on account of the other figures, are these final design?
