Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Freddy Bricker replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
I just want Misako, so bad! And now that we have Pixal I don't think it's all that impossible, and did Lego actually stop making spinners? I think the reason they may have not done them in 2013 was because it wasn't supposed to be a "big" year for Ninjago. I read on this forum (I think it was a post by Oky) that spinners were cancelled. That would suck, because it would be a great outlet to own a Misako minifigure.- 4,591 replies

Jabba's Palace or Epic Dragon Battle? I really want both but don't think I can afford both for christmas.

I hope we get at least 2 X-Men sets, but I get the feeling we'll only get one. Also, I think just2goods comment made me lose all hope in any future DC sets . I was telling myself we were sure to get a Black Canary because with Wonder Woman, Batgirl, and Poison Ivy, Black Canary was the only other hero I needed for the birds of prey. Granted I could have always hoped for Huntress, but who sees that happening any time soon?

I too have noticed a spring in new members, but no spam. Just yesterday, I went on the community indez every 5-10 minutes, and without any exaggeration, I saw a new member almost each time. Is it usual for Eurobricks to get THAT many new members all at once? It seemed like I was going crazy, what with all those new members and all. I guess you could say we had a baby boom in members recently.

Contacting the Lego group

Ugh, not exactly what I wanted to hear, but definitely useful. -
Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
Freddy Bricker replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Good, so I wasn't crazy in thinking this was season 3. I'm currently on a Ninjago marathon (watching it on youtube) and you have no idea how badly I want the epic dragon battle now, and the freaking great devourer. But Penkid11, are you suggesting that the rest of Ninjago may air during the summer? Please don't give Lego any ideas!- 4,591 replies

Oops, I knew this wasn't season 2, but I did think this was season 3, so I was off, just not way off. But these are the first episodes, right?- 4,591 replies

Contacting the Lego group
Freddy Bricker replied to Freddy Bricker's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Thanks Faefrost, but I just want to make a couple of suggestions for themes and maybe ask a few questions. -
I read it about twice now, once on another site I believe, and they were both before the superman/wonder woman and ant man movies were revealed. Actually Ant Man may have been announced when I first read that.

I'm Leaving! I'm Coming Back! Do it all HERE.
Freddy Bricker replied to Darth_Ewok's topic in Community
Well I wasn't here when you left, but out of manners, I welcome you back! Despite you having joined long before me that is. -
I've been wondering for a while now and couldn't find anything on it after a few page scans and search through the embassy. So I was wondering, how can one contact the Lego group? And I'm not talking costumer service here, but I mean actually talking to concept developers and set makers. And more importantly, how can you talk to them about license themes, those are the tricky ones, as what comes in or out of those are usually direct from the company giving Lego the license first. Hope I didn't post somewhere I didn't have to, and thanks in advance to anyone who can respond.

That I know for a fact, my previous comment was an assumption and the latter was stating that it was an assumption. But most times I've read about the discontinuation of this theme, I read about it ending in 2015, and I guess I let that influence my post(s).

I thought it was supposed to discontinue in 2015 or 2016. Also, just realized that Batgirl and Nightwing appeared as microfigures in the games theme a couple of months before they're release. I don't know why I never looked into that.

Lego Batman work out (funny) [CGI]
Freddy Bricker replied to legolution's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
Nice video, my only suggestion would be to give Batman more emotions or to change his face every now and then, but overall really good! -
I agree, this wave did feel a bit "incomplete". Also, I've decided to not buy the riddler chase because I know that Flash is definitely going to appear again. In about 2-3 years when this license expires, I know that Lego and DC will be too scared to bring in any new characters, and I'm positive that Flash will be among the first to get rehashed, hopefully they do him good when they decide to re-do him. I know I won't be buying Lego forever, but I can live without him (lies).

Well despite having been discontinued as far as production and concepts, the superheroes ultrabuilds are still available, and so are the Chima constructive figs (which we MAY still see, who knows) running alongside Hero Factory. I mean, technically we already have 3 constructing action figure theme running side-by-side. Also, I hope that whatever this theme may bring, it'll bring in diversity, But that's a bit of an overkill, hopefully I've repeated myself enough for the Lego group to have heard...

Wait why are these called episodes 27 and 28? So these aren't the first episodes of the 2nd season?- 4,591 replies

Ugh, is anyone else really anticipating a 2nd DC wave? Can you imagine they did give us another wave, and it was all Batman again? But since when has females in the DC sets become an issue? They have plenty, sure most are villains, but their the most recognizable and in my opinion, fun.

Welcome Yvan, I suspect we'll be seeing you in the Technic forum!
-
Um, she wore the suit in the movie to survive, not fight. Also, she is not wearing the rescue suit in the set. I don't think she counts because her role in the movie was (or at least that scene) was to survive, not fight (she did help fight Aldrich Killian towards the end, though) and was merely escaping the wreckage in the set. I don't want to start an off-topic conversation here, but technically, no she doesn't really count.

I'm nowhere near your ages, but I do like the idea of recognizing those of age around you. Hope you get some recognition, and why hasn't Historian commented here yet? He made a pretty interesting comment in the "starting out, how do I explain being an AFOL to non Lego Fans" thread,

Not to mention that 2 of those 3 were lovers, and not actual superheroes.

I think we've seen enough Iron Men for this theme. Maybe in a couple of years.

I don't know exactly why I want Bionicle back, but it gave us pretty much everything Hero Factory didn't. Except Hero Factory does seem to have a pretty reoccurring cast, which Bionicle seemed to be all over the place with. I just hope this new theme finds a balance, reoccurring characters without using the same 9 every year, but without having a million different stroy arcs. I also hope they give us more females, I only owned the Toa Hahli from 2007 and sadly gave her (and all my other Bionicle) away.

Toys R Us bugs me with their mark ups, BUYER BEWARE, you can buy a Lego set from TRU, but the only thing you'll be building is an empty bank account.
